      Business: **************** / Elevate Medical Solutions Complaint Type: Billing/Collection Issues I received a Good Faith ******** (GFE) of $400 on 12/5/24 for a procedure scheduled at *************************** on 12/18/24. On 4/1/25, I was sent a bill via text message from Elevate Medical Solutions, billing on behalf of ****************, for $650$250 more than the estimate.There was no account number on the bill, and no one answers the phone. The voicemail states they will not return calls and directs all communication to email. Over the course of several emails with a representative named ******* ********, I repeatedly asked for an explanation of the added cost. She was initially unsure who I was or what the charge was for. Then, she claimed the increase was due to the timing of the procedure. When I asked how long the procedure took, she then claimed $650 was their standard flat rate and that the original $400 estimate was a typo, a "discrepancy [that] was corrected in the final billing."Despite multiple requests, I've yet to be provided basic billing details (procedure duration, CPT/diagnosis codes, provider info) required by my insurer. ******* missed a scheduled call today, and Ive made repeated attempts to reach someone by phone without success.This experience has been frustrating, confusing, and unprofessional. Ive filed complaints with the No Surprises Helpdesk, the ************************************, the ************************, and the ************************************. If you are having surgery at *************************** and **************** is involved, find someone else. Since Elevate Medical Solutions handles their billing, their lack of transparency, poor communication, and refusal to provide basic billing information is deceptive and exploitative. Patients deserve better.I am happy to provide the **** final bill, and all email correspondence to support this complaint.
