I have more mice problems now than before I contracted with them. I am locked into one year quarterly but now they tell me I have to pay for 5 visits. Ecoshield marketing and contract policies are very substandard and misleading. The initial service, in our case priced at $299 is offered with a $150 discount which is required to be paid back if the service is cancelled more than 3 days after the initial service. That period of time is not sufficient to determine the value or quality of the service. The original salesperson in my case was misleading, and unprofessional. The service people I encountered were responsible and courteous. When I requested a follow up to the initial service because of additional yellow jackets on our patio we had to wait 10 days for the scheduled "nesting/egg cycle" appointment. When I called to cancel, the customer service person, perhaps understandably, but annoyingly, continued to attempt to persuade us to continue the service to avoid the $150 "discount" repayment.EcoShield Pest Solutions-- Frederick, CO

Even with a very prominent sign stating DO NOT ******************** NOT SOLICIT, DO NOT SELL. Your **** ********* continued to ignore it and ring our doorbell and knock on our door 3 different times in a 2 hour period. I finally answered the door to confirm that he could read, which he could, which just confirmed that he intentionally ignored our sign and request, multiple times. Unscrupulous, unprofessional and incompetent. The only motive is their next payment. They are threatening in their collection tactics and dont allow the customer to rebut their actions and arguments. They threatened a cancellation fee of $200 if we didnt honor our contract with them. We told them any attempt to collect funds would be met with aggressive defense tactics. They were also insistent that our contract was still in place and workers would be on our property on a specific date to perform their de-bugging service (the service is ineffective and only performed to meet their version of contract compliance). We informed them that their representatives were not authorized or welcome on our property and authorities would be called if they chose to attempt entry onto our property. They sent a technician not qualified to meet with customers. He was threatening (frightening) me, the customer. I asked ************************** to remove their technician. An EcoShield door salesman offered a 2 appointment service to help a local business that "he started."Once the 2 appointments were complete I was scheduled for a third appointment. I called to cancel and was told I couldn't until completing 12 months / 4 appointments without a hefty cancellation fee. The customer support was unhelpful and clearly has dealt with this often, pretty much saying tough luck.DO NOT work with this company. They're shady and take advantage of trusting folks. Their hard sell solicitors knocked on my door twice in one day. We have a clearly visible no soliciting sign. The first time I opened the door and said, "Are you kidding me? Read the sign. No soliciting." The young man who rang the bell (there was another standing in my driveway) smirked and said, "What's that mean?" I slammed the door. The same young man came back two and a half hours later. I reminded him he'd been there earlier and that he still wasn't respecting the no soliciting sign. He said, "That wasn't me. That was another guy. I ran him off for you. You're welcome." I couldn't tell if he was high or just crazy disrespectful. I called to complain to the business, who seemed only interested in knowing exactly where I lived so they didn't bother me again. I asked if they train their folks that "no soliciting" signs mean that they should not knock or ring that home's doorbell and was told yes. Reading others' comments and based upon my own phone conversation, I have the impression they receive this same complaint a lot and aren't the least bit concerned with it.EcoShield Pest Solutions-- Frederick, CO

Absolute scam! Their sales person lied and I was charged $199 as a second charge on my so clawed annual treatment. They customer service is outsourced and they just keep rerouting you to different agents with zero resolution.
