  If I could leave zero stars I would. After a year of dealing with **** and *********, we have realized this is not a company but a scam business. We contracted with them to build a house that was supposed to be completed in August of 2022. Every step of the project had issues, **** was never on site when construction was happening. We had issues with permits, the pad, excavation, concrete, and framing. We now have 11 months past the completion date, the exterior framing partially done. Only again there was no supervision so the trusses were put up wrong and need to be fixed. **** is a master at blaming everyone else for his failures. We received 2 lien notices and one notice they were going to start the lien process because **** refused to pay, the labors all complain **** was not paying them. **** got extremely hostile when he was confronted about the liens, even told me Im not allowed to contact the companies that placed them or he would cancel. We fixed that problem by canceling and are now taking legal action. In that process we found out he doesnt even have a contractors license. He also told us he would drag things out in court for years and theres no statute of limitations on how long he takes to refund us. This guy should be in prison for what he does to hard working families. He is the furthest thing from an American patriot you can get. Im sure he will reply to this blaming everyone else under the sun, but the truth is, he is a violent convicted felon who probably couldnt get hired anywhere so took to scamming people out of their money.

  *********- to address each issue on here You contracted out a builder out of state because you did not have a builder instate. Knowing that the owner would not be on property every day. We have taking more than *************************************** a camper out on property. There were multiple issues with you and your husband not doing your part of the owner build as agreed in the scope of work. You have failed to purchase the material as agreed to save you money. Not to mention we have provided services to you to cut cost without charging you,. You refused to review the contract that was sent to your husband or it was not communicated with you as this has been an issue through this whole process as we communicate with him because he is living on the jobs site. We have budgeted your build that is **** sqf for $350,000 because we came to an agreement as much as this is a build for APB it is also a home owner self build in regards to saving you a lot of money. We took on this build as being a veteran of this county on the sole purpose of given information of your family service we found it appropriate to help your family because of the information you gave us prior to signing an initial contract. The issue with permits was due to the failure to notify the Flood area that runs directly down the middle of the property that you failed to inform was not owned by just you but your whole family. As far as the time frame, given the fact you did not provide proper information when starting causing us to have to relocate your home on your property making it so you have to instal a new septic system as well as the hiring of individuals per your request that failed to do an adequate correct job. We have responded accordingly with every specialty subcontractor and have eaten the correction cost to help your budget. Your money was not scammed as you seem to believe if it was there would not be a building on your property. These are the reasons we have utilized our rights to withhold payment from contractors who were notified of inadequate and incorrect installation of materials. To your comment of being a dishonest company we would have released all the funds to the contractors and not protected your funds. You have been the direct reason to this date that we have not been able to complete or correct your home. You are focused on a complete refund because you have spent all your building budget for your personal gain. Per your own words spoken and texted to us. You are now upset because you have openly admitted to spending the money you had to finish your house. You failed to mention here that we tried to make the delay right by paying your rent and deposit on a home near the local area so your family could all be together. There are no liens on the property in the *********** the companies send a notice of lien within 10 days and you then have over 1 month to pay the company or they can move forward with the liens. You state you fixed the problem by canceling but you have yet to send a formal cancellation notice to American Patriot builders. Its very interesting that you have so much to say after you and your husband wanted to work for the company multiple times and your husband and son has received payment for working. Your husband had an all expense paid trip to see builds and learn the process, he then could not take because he can not travel, but now we are a horrible company. Before you start stating someones personal information you may want to make sure you have it correct as **** is not a violation felon and took an opportunity to start a company rather then work for someone else as he has been employed in the past. If we need to talk about people not having jobs then we can talk about your family quitting their jobs after getting a little money then being upset when you run out and wanting to find anyone to place the blame on. Failure to inform of a complete time line of events is a direct slander to this company.
