    I hired Joseph Maestas of Maestas Concrete and Landscaping on 5/31 to remove a concrete patio. He said it would just take a few hours to complete. He and his cousin showed up on 6/8, worked for a bit then had to leave to repair a broke water line on another job. He said he would be back the next day. It was several days later when they did show up and had some luck. The concrete was harder and thicker than normal. He asked for half the money to rent bigger jack hammer. A few days later they came back with the bigger jack hammer and worked a bit longer. Then a few more days he dropped his dad off to finish jackhammering the patio. His dad did not finish. They wanted to leave their tools and come back the next day. Is dad told me a big sob story about rent coming due, and Joseph need to rent a skid steer to load the concrete into the traitor, since it was thicker and heavier than normal. So I paid them, big mistake of course. That was on 6/23. Never saw him again. The cousin came by about a week later and got their tools saying they had to return some things before they could rent the skid steer. He assured me they would be back in a few days (always a few days, or this week, or tomorrow). Never saw him again either. They were paid, and they did not finish the job. Should have been an easy win and a way to get a five star review, bust up and haul away a patio.

    I hired this company in November 2022, paid 9000 most of the contract. They have not done the job, have lots of excuses and won't refund my payment. I have waited and tried everything and Joseph will not act.

    The business had came and poured concrete for a patio in our backyard. They said they would come and finish the job and haven’t showed up to finish the job. When pouring the concrete it was not up to our standard and they can’t be contacted as we have been calling multiple times. They pick up the phone and say they are going to come but never do. We already paid this company in full but the job isn’t done and they won’t come to fix it. We have a contract with them but we want a full refund or for them to finish the job up to our standards. It has been more than a week that they had poured this concrete and they haven’t showed up to finish it completely. Also all of their equipment is still in our backyard that they won’t attend to.

    subject: Complaint not resolved

    Hello, 
    I had submitted a claim with you guys for a concrete company that never came and finished the job. I had then cancelled this complaint as we talked to the company and they said they would come and finish but never did. I want to open this claim back up and still get a refund for my money since the job isn’t finished as the company continues to say they are coming but never do. Is there anyway to open this back up?
