  I hired Maestas Concrete and Landscaping on 5/31 to remove a concrete patio. The owner said it would just take a few hours to complete. He and his cousin showed up on 6/8, worked for a bit then had to leave to repair a broken water line on another job. He said he would be back the next day. It was several days later when they did show up and had some luck. The concrete was harder and thicker than normal. He asked for half the money to rent bigger ********************* and again they would be back the next day. A few days later they came back with the bigger ********************* and worked a bit longer. Then a few more days he dropped his dad off to finish jackhammering the patio. His dad did not finish. They wanted to leave their tools and come back the next day. His dad told me a big sob story about housing rent coming due and needing money to rent a skid steer to load the concrete into the traitor. I paid them, big mistake of course. That was on 6/23. Never saw him again. The cousin came by about a week later and got their tools saying they had to return some things before they could rent the skid steer. He assured me they would be back in a few days (always a few days, or this week, or tomorrow). Never saw him again either. They were paid in full $2400.00, and they did not finish the job. Should have been an easy job, bust up and haul away a patio. I have texted the owner of the company multiple times and at first, he assured me they would come out and finish the job. Now he claims he will refund the stolen money. He has no plans to do that. He has all the excuses of a con, I was out of town, I was in the hospital. He is a liar and a thief. They are completely dishonest and unreliable, and do crappy work when they actually show up to work.

  Hiring ****** was the biggest mistake. He delayed the job multiple times, when they finally poured the concrete, it violated multiple building codes. After asking multiple times to come and fix the job, he never showed up. I had unfortunately paid him in full. Do not hire this man, we took him to court and was ordered to pay us back for part of the job and he has now disappeared and has not paid us. It has been a nightmare.

  This was a horrible company to work with!!!! Dishonest and poorly run. We did not get the project we contracted for done without consulting a lawyer then they started to complete the project. They took 7 weeks to complete our project which other bidders said would take 2 weeks. The owner told us he had a crew which was not true, only a brother and a cousin. He actually brought 2 little boys, (about 8 and 10) to haul rock, concrete, and mulch for our yard! Appalling! I should have read all the reviews, my mistake. I believe the owner is disrespectful of women homeowners. Lied to me about when he would finish and what he was doing. Constantly had to call him to find out why they were not showing up. He even had the nerve to tell me he was just pulling up in the drive which was not true has he did not show up until late the next day. Total run around the whole time. His excuse for not showing up was family issues which all had to do with Legal issues. OMG!!!! Did we make a mistake! Left mess in yard which we had to clean up. Would never recommend this company! Worst experience we have ever had with a local company!!! Learn from us Read all reviews from different sites!
