      Very quick and easy scheduling process and the doctors took the time to deeply explain what could be happening given my symptoms and experience. Options were clearly laid out, with price considerations, and understood. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is suffering from hearing loss or other hearing-related ailments.

      Not sure what Sound Relief did for me. I got the hearing aids (>$5000) in *********************************************************** my left ear and have no more ideas on how to change/stop this than I did lying awake at 3am watching Dr ***** on a commercial helping me realize I have a ringing issue.Did I get treatment - yes. Do i still have ringing after 3 years of treatment - yes.

      We are sorry you feel you had no benefit from treatment, but this is the first time we have heard anything negative from you.

      We know that inconsistent use of the devices causes the brain to increase the hyperfiring of the auditory neurons resulting in tinnitus (even non-bothersome tinnitus) due to lack of input.

      The more we deprive the brain of input due to sensory hearing loss, the more annoying tinnitus typically becomes over time. Also, the more strain we put on the auditory system to detect soft sounds, the more progressive the deterioration of the auditory filters in the brain becomes.

      We highly recommend that our patients wear their devices consistently and full-time. Please reach out to discuss with one of our providers why this is so essential to your long-term hearing healthcare. We hope this helps!
