My ***** 2000 had been cutting off for months and getting worse as I tried fix after fix with my mechanic, spark plugs, throttle sensor position, cap, and rotor, then full distributor, and still $1200 in the car would cut off. Finally, I took it to Midas and they were to perform a full diagnostic at $******. Midas did no such thing after keeping my car for two days forcing my son to Uber to work Midas says, 'your brand new distributor put on three days ago is not working, you need a new one, so, I bought a new one again from Napa so I could return the recently put on one back to Auto Advance, they charged me $80.00 to put on another distributor (I didn't need) and ****** for the diagnostic they never performed, sent me out the door and the car cut off, they then had me bring it back, only to park it in the sun never touch it and tell me they didn't have time for me that day. My car would not even start to get it out of their parking lot, I complained and a person saying this was not their job sat in the car burned my started a bunch of times trying to force start the car, then said, it's your starter. I left, called another Mechanic, he came took 10 mins with the car showed me the dash didn't light in position one, and it should, that the car was starting in position 2 because there was a bad connection in the switch, he took it apart showed me the bad connection, said I'd end up with new keys he was changing it all out, he so at another cost of $300. when I called to discuss this with the shop they put hold for 10 mins until I hung up then would not answer my calls when I tried several more times. I was never rude, just a fool.
