If I could give "0" stars, I absolutely would. Warranty solutions sold this warranty through a used car dealership under the premise of paying the extra money for the eco-mind 5 star warranty which claims they cover the battery in electric vehicles. The salesperson specifically said they would cover the dead cells in the battery. Now that the issue has come up (battery only gets 6 bars and anything under 9 is considered a failed/dead battery), they are claiming that they only cover mechanical defects in the battery, not degradation. Haven't had the car or the warranty a full year. They then said to call ******* Autobrokers and get a refund. When I told ******* Autobrokers, they seemed genuinely shocked that they were denying coverage and asked me to let him get in touch with his ******** did and called and told me the claim was being reviewed and for me to get in touch with the service tech and have them resubmit the claim. Warranty Solutions denied the claim again, saying that the cells in the ** battery are like a spark plug and they won't cover it because it's not a mechanical defect to the battery. I asked them to send me the contract that we sign showing that they stated this, and all they've sent is a generic UNSIGNED contract with the exclusions highlighted, which I was never given. I have my copy, and it does not include the exclusions that they sent last night. Warranty Solutions is an entire scam and I am not going to stop pursuing this until everyone knows it and we get back every single ***** we spent on the warranty and money that we've spent having to take Uber and Lyft rides for months because the battery would only get 40 miles. ************ needs to be put out of business. BBB needs to explain how Warranty Solutions has an A+ accreditation but only has 1.21 out of 5 stars. This is not over by a long shot.Warranty Solutions Management Corporation

Dear ***************************;
This is in response to your Better Business Bureau Customer Review regarding the ** battery claim. We thank you for your patience while this matter was under review.
First, please note that vehicle service contract (***) is a contract and not an insurance policy, warranty,or guarantee. Warranty Solutions Management Corporation (WSMC) administers the terms and provisions of the ****
It is ***** role to determine whether a mechanical breakdown qualifies for coverage under the terms and conditions of the **** The *** provides assistance in covering parts and labor costs in the event of a covered mechanical breakdown of a covered part that is due to a defect in material or faulty workmanship in the manufacturing of the covered part(s). This determination is based on the cause of the failure reported by the repair facility, and at times, as verified by an independent inspection agency.
On January 12, ****, we emailed you advising that we will rereview the claim file. After reviewing the claim file with the automotive director and the department manager. We are standing on the claim denial of the ** battery. The owners manual for the vehicle states; The capacity of the Li0ion battery in your vehicle to hold a charge will, like all such batteries, decrease with time and usage. As the battery ages and capacity decreases, this will result in a decrease from the vehicles initial mileage range. This is normal, expected, and not indicative of any defect in your ***ion battery. The ***ion has limited service life, and when its charging capacity falls below a specific legal, ** system warning light will illuminate..
Unfortunately, we will not be able to assist with the ** battery claim. The status of the vehicle ** battery does not meet the vehicle service contract definition of a mechanical breakdown. If a repair facility can provide new information we can rereview the claim at that time.
The vehicle service contract states:
Definitions
MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN: The failure of a Covered Part to perform its intended function due to defects in materials or faulty workmanship in its manufacturing. This may include wear tolerances that are outside the manufacturers specifications that prevent the part from operating as designed. (see General Contract Exclusions) Non-covered parts are not covered.
General Contract Exclusions
3. The repair or replacement of any Covered Part if a Mechanical Breakdown has not occurred.

Pretty frustrated and worriesome so far especially given how expensive this contract was. I've been trying to contact Warranty Solutions for 3 weeks now without any success of getting thru to anyone on the phone. Many calls at various times of days to only achieve ***** minute hold times and no luck. Their website provides zero information/help for customers who have purchased their warranties. Clicking home button on their "website" goes to an inactive link. Zero way to get any help. ZERO customer service contact yet. No way to message them or speak to anyone. Purchased the warranty for my new vehicle in 8/2019 and this is my first time actually needing to use this warranty.Warranty Solutions Management Corporation

I filed a claim for a catastrophic engine failure at ******* miles on a 2015 jeep Cherokee. Kept getting the runaround for several days chasing records for oil. Change intervals. The failure to the vehicle had nothing to do with oil changes* it was an inherent issue inside of the motor that plagued these vehicles for certain years. Had all oil changes of ******* miles except two and those receipts were destroyed to no fault of our own. This company goes by the exact strict verbiage on the contract there is no lead way any way or the other. Would never recommend doing business with this organization . They did not seem to have a problem writing the warranty through the dealership when the vehicle was purchased used with ****** miles its hard for me to believe that the dealership had to prove to the warranty company that there were oil changes done at the original 10 and ****** mile mark * they were just out to sell the warranty to s**** somebody on a small technicality.Warranty Solutions Management Corporation

This company has towed my vehicle several times until the dealership could figure out the issue. They have covered all of the repairs less the $100 deductible. I got the best warranty available at the time of purchase and it was a brand-new vehicle. The roadside assistance # was always great and responsive, my dealership doing the repairs handled all of the claims when doing the services.I was disappointed that diagnostics were not covered to figure out the issue, but the repairs were so I am not complaining too much- but seems like a cart before the horse situation. However, I am approaching the end of my agreement and called to extend the warranty-but no customer service rep picked up after 20 mins of hold music.Warranty Solutions Management Corporation

This company is a complete joke. I paid for the highest warranty package on my car when I bought my car from the dealership. I really never hoped I would have to call warranty solutions but unfortunately I did have to call on them when my engine went all the way out. They sent out one inspector. He made false accusations. They closed my claim and said they would never open it again. Ive been on the phone several weeks trying to get a hold of the manager. I spoke with ******* he transferred me to his managers mailbox. I left a message and was told he would return my call within 24 hours. Its been five business days with no returned phone call. As a single mother of three, I thought, choosing the best package for my car would ensure me a long life with my car but unfortunately thats not the case. Im now stuck paying 3k for requested maintenance that was performed on my car BY warranty solutions to get the claim open and going! I hope everyone does the research and chooses a better warranty company for their car.Warranty Solutions Management Corporation

Mrs., ******,
The insurance company finished their review, and the claim was authorized within the terms and conditions of the vehicle service contract. A claim adjuster has already reached out to the repair facility and authorized the eligible amount of the claim.
Thank you

If I could give it less than one star I would. I paid this company for 10 months for a used car three star plus policy on my 2013 ***** equinox. Ive had the car since New and I dont even have ****** miles on it. I took out a new policy last December on this car and when I went to use it last week when my service department went to call them they had no record of the policy. I spent three days speaking to the customer service department who was fully aware that I had a policy, but could not get that information over to the Repair number or third-party service provider. They make it so complicated. hand on the right hand had no clue and I have a feeling that they didnt want to have a clue. I had proof of payments,The customer service department had proof of policy when they finally acknowledged I had a policy they didnt even acknowledge I had the three star plus one which was what I paid for and which would have covered my brakes. I finally asked for a refund. Do not deal with this company. They are a nightmare. Nobody knows whats going on nor do they want to know whats going on go elsewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!Warranty Solutions Management Corporation

Our experience so far with this company has been pretty unbelievable. We paid a lot of money for their top coverage package and what they cover is yet to be determined because we havent made it that far. The company has dragged their feet and given us the run around every step of the way. Several days to tell the dealership what work to do so they could send an inspector. They claimed ***** hours for an inspector but took 3 days to show up. Then multiple days to review it and determine they didnt get the info they needed and start all over again. They dont work weekends so 5 days for New pictures, several more days waiting for them to review it. Every time myself or the dealership calls we get different answers, different time frames which are never met, and horrible and rude customer service. The rental car is based off of the dealership labor hours so Im covered for 6 days or less when warranty solutions has been the hold up the whole time. they have taken weeks to do their part and we still dont have approval yet. And to top it all off they repeatedly tried to blame it on the dealership even though the dealership has done everything exactly how they were asked to. And not till I talked to a higher up did they admit that they needed more information than they originally thought. (Which would not have been a huge deal if they had been honest or efficient about it) over two weeks into the claim and several hundred dollars out of pocket for a rental Im still getting rude customer service and no answers. Do not waste your hard earned money on this service contract as they call it because apparently warranty solutions has service contracts not warrantys and a lot more issues than solutions.Warranty Solutions Management Corporation

We called you on September 22 and 26, 2023 and left you a message. We can see in the claim file that the claim was started on August 24, 2023. We advised the repair facility that they would need to show the cause of the failure and extent of the damage. The "Warranty" and I use that word lightly is not worth $.01. This company does not cover anything on a vehicle unless the exact wording of parts under that section of coverage is listed. Our Vehicle had a steering problem. Brought it to the garage and it was found that the front drag link, adjustment sleeve and tie rods needed to be replaced. The Garage called this into the Warranty company and they were told it was denied because these specific parts were not "listed" under steering or front suspension. I called the warranty company, spoke to an adjuster and still could not get them to cover any of this. While on the phone with them I asked about a part exclusive to **** vehicles, the keyless entry option on their vehicles (the **** vehicles have a key pad on the door that you enter a pin to unlock the vehicle without a key or the key fob). Nope "sorry that part is not covered under the "Factory" keyless entry transmitter and receiver section of the "Warranty". Well alright then "so transfer me to your cancellation department", "Oh sorry we don't have a cancellation department, you must go back to the dealership you purchased the vehicle from to cancel and they will refund you the money". This is complete Hog Wash. I have read most of these reviews and it seems this company doesn't like to pay for any claims. Just take peoples money and supply no payouts for claims. Not a great way to run a company in my opinion. We will be cancelling and wish we had never purchased it or cancelled it sooner at the beginning of the contract so we could recoup more of the money we paid for this useless warranty.Warranty Solutions Management Corporation
