On 12/5/22 I took took our son's 2015 Grand Cherokee to the dealership with a check engine light. It was determined to be an EVAP leak and the dealership replaced a couple of parts and Warranty Solutions covered it. Three weeks later the check engine was back on. I took it back to the shop in January and it was an EVAP SLOW leak (the same code) from another location above the gas tank. I was told that the warranty expired on 1/4/23 and Warranty Solutions would not cover the issue even though the issue was originally reported in December of 2023. I spoke with an adjuster named ***** who admitted that it was possible that the problem could have been coming from above the tank from the beginning but declined coverage. I would not recommend this company to anyone as it is my opinion that they look for any way to get out of paying claims.

The code originally was diagnosed on 12/5 and reported. It was said to be fixed but obviously not. So, the same code came back on at a later date as it was a slow EVAP leak. Your adjuster admitted that that was likely. In my opinion the issue should have been taken care of since it was originally diagnosed prior to the expiration of the policy. You got me on a technicality and saved your company a little money but a lot of goodwill!

Mr. Hayes We thank you for your patience while this claim was under review. Unfortunately, we will not be able to assist with the fuel pump leak claim. The repair facility reported a new failure nineteen days after your contract expired. The repair facility reported a P0456 code, small evaporative emissions leak. This is a general code and not specific to any certain part failure. The evaporative emission system is constantly monitored by the vehicle’s computer system. There is 41 days and 877 miles between reported failures. The failure reported to Warranty Solutions on January 25, 2023, would be a new failure and past the expiration of your vehicle service contract. We apologize for any frustration or delay that you may have experienced. Best regard, [email protected]

I purchased a 2018 ***** Accord 18 months ago. I purchased a contract with Warranty Solutions at the dealership where I purchased my car. Recently lights came on in the vehicle. I took my vehicle to my local ***** dealership for service. The dealership informed me that the head gasket needed to be replaced. Yes, the head gasket in a 2018 ***** Accord that I have owned for 18 months. I contacted Warranty Solutions to discuss the issue with my engine per the dealership. I also had someone in the service department on the call with me discussing the issue with the head gasket. I was told by the representative at Warranty Solutions that the engine would have to be broken down so the inspector can come out and inspect the vehicle. I was told that if my claim is denied, I would be responsible for paying the ***** dealership thousands of dollars for taking the engine apart and putting it back together. The purpose of the contract with Warranty Solutions which cost me $1,999.99 was to have my car repaired in the event something like this happened and it did. All I want is for my car to be repaired. I do not have a problem paying a deductible. This whole experience has been a nightmare. I take my daughter who has a disability to and from school. Her school is five miles from my home. Im still paying a car note for a vehicle that is inoperable. Warranty Solutions should stop making this experience so difficult. One representative I spoke with was not nice. I treat people the way I want to be treated. I want Warranty Solutions to honor the contract. I have ran around to get the maintenance documents as requested. Please have my car repaired. I did not hesitate paying for the contract. Sincerely, ******************

************ On January 23, 2023, we advise you that teardown needs to be authorized by you so that the cause of failure and extent of damage can be verified. You advised us that you were going to move the vehicle to a different repair facility. The vehicle service contract states:How to Make a claim 3. You must authorize the Issuing Dealer or any other state licensed repair facility to inspect and diagnose the Mechanical Breakdown, as necessary, to determine the cause of failure and the cost of parts and labor to repair. IMPORTANT: You must call the Administrator prior to all transmission disassembly. You are responsible for the cost of disassembly in the event the Mechanical Breakdown is NOT payable under this Contract (see General Contract Exclusions).4. If requested, permit inspection of the Approved Vehicle by the Administrator BEFORE repairs are performed. We apologize for any delay or frustration that you may have experienced. Purchased the extended 5 star protection plan which I alway do on all my used vehicles. I was driving my car when I noticed a wierd squeak and kinda clunk everytime i would hit a bump in the road. so I pulled over and noticed the car was kind of sagging on the front side. I called a local garage to see if they could look at it so garage called said strut was broken and had failed to continue to do what it was designed to do so I called the dealership that I bought the car from to get the information on who to contact about the 5 star extended protection plan that I had purchased. He gave me the info to Warranty Solutions who I had purchased my extended 5 star protection plan from he also asked what was going on with the car I told him what had happened and what the garage had said was wrong he said absolutely they will cover that for you I said great contacted the garage gave them the info so they could call. The garage called me back later and told me they would not cover my broken strut that had failed to continue to do the job that it was Indended to do. I was baffled as was the garage and asked why not he said the claims adjuster he talked to said that the strut was broke that means it was damaged. So i then contacted Warranty Solutions. Claim adjuster said the garage had told him that the strut was broken i said yes its broken it has failed to do the job that it was designed to do. He said that broken wasn't covered and that the garage had said maybe I hit a pot hole or something which was not the case I said to the claims adjuster I did not hit a pot hole there is nothing damaged on my car other than the strut. I said if I hit a pot hole or anything elsehard enough to cause the strut to be damaged i said I would have some kind of damage to a tire, a rim, a control arm, tie rod, my bumper i said I did not hit anything and had no damage to anything on my car other than the strut. This company is a scam, takes peoples money with no intention of providing service.

The claims adjuster for Warranty Solutions told.me that broken and failed are different. If something breaks than that means that a component has failed to do what it was designed to do therefore it has broke.....FAILED

I agree with comments that there should be an option for zero stars. I am 60 years old and have suffered a stroke as a result of the stress of dealing with this sham of an operation. For 4 months my vehicle has been sitting in a repair shop waiting for an answer. I was told today that they stand by their denial of my claim when I have yet to receive a denial notice. Ive jumped through every hoop and provided everything requested. No calls were returned from supervisor or legal department as promised and for months Ive requested the name of the acceptor of legal process in my State to no avail. And whats the real name of this company doing business in **? Calls come from ************. Lucky Im an attorney. I feel very sorry for anyone going through this h*** that wasted their money on an extended warranty.
