    I am a recently retired contractor with over 30 years in the construction industry. One of my last projects was for a client who specified Alpin for window ***lacement in their existing home and for the large addition that we were doing. The project was in two phases and each phase had multiple windows and patio doors. I can say with confidence that these windows and doors were the best that I have ever dealt with. They are of very high quality and an excellent value compared to other brands. They were delivered promptly (phase 2 was even earlier than promised) and were very well packaged for shipment. The sales *** that we dealt with (******) was absolutely amazing. She answered every question professionally and promptly whether via emails or phone calls. When I had a problem installing one of the fixed windows (due to my unfamiliarity with the product) she immediately connected me with a service technician who showed me how to solve the problem. ***** is a local Colorado-based company. I was so impressed with their windows that I visited their plant in ********** and was given a tour of their facilities. Wow! Very Impressive! The technology and advanced systems that I saw made me proud that they are local to ********. They are expanding and further updating their plant and will probably quadruple their capacity in the next two to three years. I normally do not write reviews especially long ones unless I am really moved and impressed. This company is a 10 out of 10.

    I recently had a fantastic experience with Alpen Windows. My customer service representative ****** ***** was exceptionally helpful and responsive; she provided clear delivery dates, and every window ordered arrived on schedule. The quality of the windows is outstanding, featuring triple-pane glass that offers superb insulation and energy efficiency. Living in a high elevation and windy area of the mountains, I've noticed a significant reduction in wind noise and temperature fluctuations since installation. My home feels more airtight, making it comfortable year-round in heat and cold. I highly recommend Alpen for anyone seeking high-performance windows that combine quality, beauty and energy efficiency. Plus for me, they are a local business!!

    Recommended to me by the *** for high-altitude windows.****** was stellar, walking me through every step of selecting my windows, and even going to the factory to get pictures of trim types to send me. She then networked for me when I couldnt find an installer in my area. Great experience!

    We installed a houseful of Alpen windows in 2016, including a mix of triple-glazed and quad-glazed units. These were part of our successful efforts to make a 1955 Mass. coastal home become net-zero. After 7 years, one window started to leak. Alpen stood behind their warranty and sent us a replacement at no cost to us. I recommend them.

    Ordered windows for new construction home through an Alpen dealer. Took about 6 months to get them which I was told due to pandemic, etc. That was no problem. I wanted really good windows for this house. I liked the glass technology they offered and the low u values. When the windows arrived and I got them installed, that is when all the problems started. Numerous latches were misaligned where once I was able to get the window open, I could not close again. There were numerous latches in the same location of each window that were all consistently misaligned. I tried to adjust per their directions w/o luck. They did make a site visit and fixed some but 1 was worse somehow. After this more problems came up. The edge covers of the sliding doors were warping and popping off. Also what I will call a glass retainer strip, had the white seal showing through the glass and my frame are black. Also have a few fixed (non-opening) windows where the frames are warped and a small window that was made out of square by a lot. They did come back a second time. They did fix the white seal and painted it black, got all the windows adjusted so the latches work now. I do still have many other unresolved problems.I still have warped windows and 1 very out of square. The length of one side is shorter than the other causing this. Also now the black paint finish is severely chipping/peeling off the exterior frames on a few windows. ******* from Alpen was supposed to come out and look at this but did not and I only found out he was not coming when I followed up with him the day before he was supposed to arrive. I guess my problems are not important to him. Been getting the run around for going on 6 months now. For my sliding doors, the sill plate of them is made up of 2 pieces. Looks like scraps used to make it. Big gaps between and come to find out they leak now. Windows were sent with lots of scratches I had to fix.

    UPDATE: The owner did contact me and was very concerned with the issues I was having. He wanted to make things right. We came up with a resolution within a day or so that was acceptable to both of us. He was friendly and helpful and followed up quickly when he had to get more info from his team. He said they will stand behind the windows to ensure they are good.
