I wasn't able to contact anyone at this business to pay a bill, unlock my online account, or anything for a about a month. They didn't send me a bill, no email, no phone call. Then stopped picking up my trash. I called and my call was dropped. Called later and sat on hold until my call was dropped again. Called another day and requested a call back, never received a call back. I had to go with another disposal company and a month later they sent me a bill for both months. After I cleaned out the can and they had come to pick it up without so much as a word to me via email or call. They charged me for services that were never rendered. They have continued to charge me late fees on fees on charges associated with this timeframe.Business Response

****************' s bill was due 03/01/2024 for the months of March, April and May. **************** registered with our online portal on 01/09/2024 and signed up for the pay by text option and also signed up for paperless billing with a customer provided email. On this day a payment was made for his quarterly billing, which was due 12/01/2024. This payment was already a month late at this time. This payment paid for his service until the end of February. Another bill was sent to the email on file on 02/01/2024 and was due 03/01/2024. Another email notification was sent out on 03/18/2024 for a late fee that was charged to the account. After 30 days of non payment the account was put on service interruption. On 04/13/2024 **************** tried to log in to our online portal and locked his account. During this time we called several times and did not get an answer. After 60 days of non payment the account was closed and the bin was removed. After the account closure a final statement was sent out and another call was made, with no answer. The customer was charged for the two months because he received one month of service and when we remove our bins we remove them empty or full. At this point because the account is several months past due and we have not have any communication from ****************, the account has extra charges and has been sent to an outside collection company.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: No one contacted me. You knew my account was locked but didn't reach out via email. I have no records of any missed calls. I couldn't pay my bill over the phone or access my account online. Otherwise my bill would have been paid and I wouldn't be using another service.

There were several emails sent out to notify the customer of the past due account. The account was due on 03/01/2024 and the customer's portal was not accessed until 04/13/2024 and was locked at that time. We are not notified for each individual account that is locked. I knew the account was locked on that day because there is a date log on the customer's online portal. We have tried to contact the customer via phone and sent out a past due notices in the mail and the customer has also received emails every time the account was charged late fees. The customer claims he was not able to get through on the phone, but there is no record of a voice mail or email left by the customer regarding the account as we have multiple sources for customer communication.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: I couldn't leave a voicemail. I never made it to that point. My calls were dropped. I never received any call back upon request. I have no voicemails of anyone reaching out to me. I called and requested a call back after I had been trying to unsuccessfully contact anyone for days. I wasn't the only one having this issue. I couldn't access anything online as from my end your whole website appeared to be down I don't know if there was some sort of DNS error on my end or if your site was indeed experiencing issues. All of my attempts to communicate were met with silence and apparent inaction. It wasn't just me at this time either. The first time it happens I accepted an apology, "Sorry, we are changing our system around." and then everything became impossible.

I have used C and C disposal for the last several years and with its 3rd price increase for service in less than 12 months I decided to switch. I called to cancel my service 4/10/24. At that time I was charged the prorated amount for that billing period. I paid $79.50 and discontinued service. I was charged $113.10 on May 5 as it was in auto pay. When I spoke to a customer service representative they said it was a new billing system and they were unaware they had to manually stop their auto pay customers. They said I would be issued a full refund. It would only be a couple of days. After a week I finally got a $30 refund not a $113.10 refund. I have called every week in May and due to people having time off and checking into it, I was promised a call back every week by a new representative. I never once have received a call back. It has now been 6 weeks of me trying to get my refund of $113.10 back from being incorrectly charged. I havent received the refund, a call back, a solution. I paid my bill with C&C Disposal on December 20, 2023, it cleared on December 26, 2023. I cancelled my service with them on January 2, ****. I still have not received a refund and I have called three times. The last time, the woman I spoke with said she would refer it to her supervisor. Most times when you try to reach them, you get a busy signal or are placed in a queue waiting to be helped, sometimes you get someone, sometimes you don't. I'm not the only person having difficulty getting a refund.Business Response

I was a customer with CC ********************** till 7/10/2023. Their service was sketchy, saying they couldnt find any workers. I called on 7/10/2023 to cancel my service as I was in Nebraska for 2 funerals and they had added a late fee. They finally at the end of the month picked up their can. I have called 4 times since then for my refund. It has been over 3 months and still no check from them. Last week after I called they said they owed me $18.75. This company added fuel charges and if you dont receive their email bill and you call to check they charge late fees! Where are my late fees??? Hello! Your refund was processed last week on 10/18/23. A check for $18.70 was sent out. You should see it any time. As for the amount of the refund, I have attached a detailed billing showing you were credited for the remainder of your service in July as well as the next three months, August through October (which had not been paid yet). Your fuel surcharges were prorated along with your trash service so you were only charged through July 10. You were also credited the late fee due to your late payment from May.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: NO CHECK! This trashy company has REAL problems! They trumped up the statement, why would they charge for Aug-Oct when they picked up their can at the end of July and I called on that date 3/10 and quit their service. Trying to look like they did me some kind of favor giving me credit! I just want my check so I dont ever have to deal with them anymore! Now what??? We paid for CNC disposal to pick up two dumpsters. They started only picking up one. When we complained they stated that it was either too heavy or not packed right. We cancelled the service and have begged them to come pick up the tote. They refused to then stated that they would come but we had to wait three weeks. Three weeks came to an end and they still have refused to pick up their own tote. We are afraid we will get charged for the dumpster that they own.Business Response

We moved into a new home in April. We transferred our trash service to our home address with C&C who we have been with for a few years now. For the last two months they have consistently picked up our trash late. we have not had our trash picked up now going on three weeks. We have called numerous times and were told that our trash would be picked up but they did not follow through. We have asked to speak to managers but have been denied because every time we have called we were told they are not available. My wife had mentioned to the customer service person she spoke to that how would they feel if they were not receiving the service thy paid for and the response was "I would just deal with it"Their conduct has been completely unprofessional. We also asked for a refund to which they responded that that they would only give us $7. I would like to speak to a manager or even possibly the owner since it is a local business.Business Response

This company has forgotten to pick up my trash 4 times in the past year. They remember to pick up the whole side of my street but not mine. I called the company today to notify them they had not picked up my trash. The woman in the office was so rude I had trouble not hanging up. I informed her they had not picked up my trash (again). She started telling me her garbage man was new and she wasnt sure what was going on. I told her they picked up my neighbors and skipped me. She looked up my address and informed me that he had not gotten to my house yet. It is 3pm. The garbage usually picks up in the morning then Takes a lunch break and comes back for mine. Today they obviously did t since it would have been picked up already. The lady then tells me the trash has to be out at 5 am if it wasnt then thats why they did not pick it up. I proceeded to tell her one of my cans was out last night at 7 pm so they should have picked it up with that logic. She repeats like I am a toddler maam it was out by 5 am it says on your contract it has to be out. After repeating that one of my cabs was out and still didnt get picked up she states oh well he is t coming back today and tomorrow is a holiday so I can arrange a swap and theyll come Thursday. Today is Monday. It is 100degree outside and she wants me to leave my stinky rotting trash on the curb for 4 days because her garbage missed me and they are short staffed. I repeat to her they need to pick it up today. She responds that they wont, they cant and basically tells me Im in the office this isnt my problem. Tomorrow is 4th of July, while other people are entertaining and barbqueing I am watching my trash rot in the road because they are short handed and their staff do not care about their customers. I finally told her to pick it up Thursday and cancel my account. I think I may be paid up til August and want a refund for any money for service I will not be receiving.Business Response

I have pre paid for trash and recycling pick up from C&C for **** through August 2022. My trash has been picked up, but for the month of August, I have not had the recycling picked up at all. My neighbors have complained. I have called the company 3 different times to inquire. I have left messages, with no call back. I did receive 2 notices - one by text, that my account was overdue? There is no effective communication with this company. I am unhappy that I prepaid for a service that I have not received. I need my August potion of the recycling charges refunded to my card. The customer service representative that set up your account accidentally billed you twice so your account was on hold for nonpayment through no fault of your own. We have credited your account for the double billing plus the recycle pickup for the month of August. My trash pick *** are scheduled for Tuesdays, with the bin out ready for pick Up @5:00am. I always put mine behind the garage on Monday. The last two weeks they have skipped my pick up date starting July 26. I called on July 26 the receptionist said they were running behind and it would be picked up on the next day, July 27. It was not, I called on July 27, she said the driver said the trash was not out on July 26, (change in excuses and a lie). She said they would credit me for 1 week and they would get it on August 2 and would pick up all trash with no additional charge. I said the bin was overflowing as well as other bags to pick up. They finally agreed to replace the bin and pick up the full bin July 28, which they did. August 2 they did not pick up again. I called and was told they would get it August 3 ( that still remains to be seen). I ask numerous time on all the calls to them to talk to the route supervisor, who was never available. I attempted to speak with you and left a voicemail. You are not being skipped. We are behind due to a driver shortage and the inability to get equipment parts in a timely fashion. We sent out a call on Wednesday notifying all customers with Tue, Wed and Thu pickup days that we are behind and to please leave your toter out for pickup the following day. Did you not receive the message? Unfortunately, the state of the world right now is affecting our service days, however we are doing our very best to get everyone picked up every week, even though it may not be on your regular day. We do not have a corporate office as we are a local company. The driver noted that no trash was out on 7/26/22 but you told us it was so we swapped out the toter for you on 7/29/22. Driver marked your stop picked up this week on Wednesday. Supervisors are out on route helping to complete our services and have not been in the office. Problem since: 07/24/2022 My family and I have relocated to *******. C&C has been our trash service provider in ******** for the last 10+ years. Being that we have moved, we need to get the trash service canceled. I have spoken with personnel, but now I can no longer get through to the company by phone. I have tried contact through online support form.What they want:- Service cannot be stopped without trash can pick up.- They won't pick up the trash cans unless they're at the curb.- They charge $80 if they come out and they're not at the curb.- They cannot provide a set date for pickup, only a tentative date.What I need:- I need to have service stopped and trash cans picked up.- I need them to be willing to collect the cans even if they're not at the curb, but a reasonable distance up the drive way.Why I need it:- The neighborhood is not a good place any longer.- Drugs are being sold next door.- Someone is throwing trash in our trash cans.- Trash cans get moved/used because of the neighbors "dealings".- The house has been burglarized twice since our departure.Why I can't comply:- Due to my circumstances, I can't promise that the cans will stay at the curb.- I can't promise that I can find someone in ****** who will put them out at the curb in time for pickup.- I can't promise they'll remain at the curb or be empty. (they are currently empty)What I can do:- I can promise that the trash cans would be either at the curb or within a reasonable distance from the curb without obstruction.- They would only need to walk maybe 20 feet up the driveway to retrieve them--there's no fencing, dogs, or obstructions.This really is a silly thing to be so problematic, but they are not trying to work with me and I can't seem to get ahold of someone in management to speak to.Business Response
