I found Mr. Appliance of Golden online the previous week; I scheduled an appointment for Monday (12/9), informing them that my heating element had stopped functioning. The technician agreed and provided a non-itemized invoice for $408. I called again on the evening of 12/11 and was asked to call back the morning of 12/12. The average cost of the service is $237, with a range from $150-$300. The heating element is available online for $23. I was told by the owner that the heating element is $150; even so, that would mean labor charges would be $250. I was told this is the industry standard. I did not accept the service, which is why I filed a report with the BBB yesterday. Since then, I have been charged $135 for the service visit. More importantly, the technician did not reassemble the dryer completely; since his assessment and reassembly, the face and computer board are ***** and there is a new noise coming from the dryer when it runs. I have requested an itemized invoice from the company as well.

On May 8th 2024, ***** from ********************************* repaired an icemaker of my fridge. It took him 3 trips to get it work. I paid $394.8 and the owner ***** promised me a 6 month warranty. At the end of June, icemaker stopped working again, and now this Mr ********************** is "of Golden" now. The lady of Mr ********************** of Golden refused to send ***** back for warranty check, and claimed the control panel needs to be replaced by $530. If the control panel was broken, how could the icemaker worked for 2 months after the repair? If it is newly broken, how could you know by not even seeing it? If the control panel is the problem, why did you charge me $400 to replace the icemaker? Why didn't you tell me by replacing icemaker is not going to solve the program and the total cost will be at $1000 at the beginning? This Mr ********************** should refund me the money wasted on replacing the icemaker for nothing.

We had Mr. Appliance of Golden come out to repair our oven. During the repair they damaged part of it and, upon returning to fix that part, the technician raised his voice, threatened to not complete the service, and stormed out of our house after we asked very basic questions about the next steps for completing our repair. He left without completing the reassembly of our oven. It took over two hours of us attempting to contact the office to speak with the owner (*****) who was completely unwilling to send out another technician to fix our oven or make this experience right. Im honestly shocked at the lack of professionalism and hostility from both the technician and owner.
