  Paul B***** owner of Butler Home Improvements LLC has unethical and illegal business practices. He was referred to me and I took the reference in good faith so I did not have my guard up. Paul B***** gave me a $3800 quote for a job. I agreed to the quote and he immediately came back that day with a contract. Looking over the contract I asked why is there a Micheal B***** in the place where my name should be. He said it was fine. The contract also did not have a start day or an end date. The company address, company license nor insurance information was not listed. He said that was not necessary for the contract. We both signed and I gave him a check for $2000 he left for weeks not work done even with multiple calls to him. Almost 2 months he did not make any attempts to start the job. I told him to give me back my money and we can part ways. He said he would be there to start. He came dug up holes and lift materials that were not installed properly and became dangerous as they became unhinged and fell off. I told him about the materials and the danger they could have caused he picked up the materials placed in the backyard and left. A few weeks later he came back and said he could finish that job if I gave him another $2000 he could get all the materials and be done. I gave him the check for $2000 and he never came back. After many attempts and him always saying he will be there tomorrow to finish the work I stopped hearing from him. One day he brought all his workmen to my house then asked me for another $2000 and said he needed it to pay for the materials to be delivered because they were ready. This time he insisted on cash. I told him no. I was very upset I told him that I was very disappointed that he came recommended by a good person. I was done. I contacted the police. they said to contact a lawyer and complain to the state. Which I did. I also decided to complain here as he is a con man and clearly he thinks I can be bullied and scammed. That is not right!
