      Sam is a conartist. I would never recommend this company. He quoted me $265 per hour and 4 guys to move on Thursday August 22. I gave him the address from the day I paid the deposit and it was his job to find out what truck was compatible in that area instead on moving day he showed up with a 15” truck and only 2 guys so my husband and my son had to help. Sam asked to use our comforters because he only had plastic wrap! nothing to properly secure our items like him & his website stated.. We left at 4pm to head to the new apartment which is a 25 mins drive Sam kept on calling me about route issues because of his truck height so it took him almost 2 hours to get to the location and to make matters worse when he finally got here there’s a 11” bridge by our new house that he couldn’t get under so instead he had to park at a shopping center nearby and we had to meet him there to figure out what to do. When we got there he immediately told us we had to pay for all that travel time up until 6pm. He then suggested for him to come back with a compatible truck on Saturday with another driver to do shuttle from the parking lot to our house which would be an extra $175 plus $75 gas for each truck as he would leave with the 15” truck that had our items and bring them back to us Saturday august 24. We told him no as this was Already costing too much since we had to pay for his negligence of knowing where he could or couldn’t drive with his truck. He demanded cash.. Saturday he came back we noticed many of our items were unwrapped and appeared damaged like our brand new 75” tv box was ripped plus my son’s nightstand was broken my bench for my bedroom foot was broken as well. When I asked him how that happened he said when he got to the warehouse they had to go in the truck to move stuff. Didn’t make sense but the clock was ticking we just wanted our stuff out as quickly as possible since it took us 15 mins to go back and forth to the apartment this was another 3 hrs charge again

      We are dealing with all kind of customers for last 35 years. At this customer’s apartment things weren’t completely packed to move out. We gave them option if they want to cancel today and we come back another time. But they told us to start moving. Our time started when we started moving after 15 minutes walk thru and conversation. We also provided them dumping services. They decided during move to get rid of more bedrooms furniture and mattress too. End table which she talking about was shown her before the move. It was loose all four legs. She decided to dump bedroom set from that room but forgot about end table. She told us to leave on the side of driveway outside. The tv in the box was boxed before us. We moved it at new location and husband approached us asking if we know someone who fix television because it wasn’t working before the move and they were waiting to fix sometime. Then he decided to get rid of it. And told us bring back out to his truck and he will dump it. 35 years in moving business we have all blankets shrink wrap Hendricks and Dollie’s. We used them all at her apartment for wrapping. We only ask her blankets for tv wrapping ( these were the blankets which she throwing away ) we don’t move tv without packed in boxes. Asking her blankets was safe to leave wrapped at her new apartment, so tv don’t slip and fall. If we used our blanket on tv then it would’ve left without blanket at new place. Because we would’ve taken our blanket off after delivery. This was a wise decision to use their discarding blankets. With our 35 years experience it was important decision made, since they didn’t have tv boxes. 
      we told her that we will come with the truck which take all her move and dumping stuff in one load. So we don’t make trips from ******* to *********. It is almost 45 minutes to an hour drive in traffic. If we came with small truck then we had to make 3 to 4 trips and the job would’ve taken 2 full days. We moved her out in all one load and trip. Only problem happened in *********. She found move in apartment on island which has low bridges. We tried our best to find a way to get there. But a police man told us that community only require shuttles. Means we need to bring small truck and unload from our large truck into small truck and deliver. Now we had to make truck arrangements and it was lat to deliver that day. We offered her that we will not charge her overnight holding and will come back another day with 2 trucks 2  drivers. But she said she doesn’t want to pay for extra driver and her husband will arrange truck and drive truck. We agreed and came on time as promised the day of delivery and finished in 3.5 hours but only got paid for 3 hours. She was very friendly and polite lady.  We think based on her move out day situation we did our best and work diligently to load up. We didn’t even stop anywhere for lunch that day. We are sorry it happened because of her move in apartment location. Which require small trucks. With small truck it would’ve taken 2 full days from ******* to *********. Which would’ve increase the cost drastically. A lot of my competitors do that to make more hours and money.

      I’ve been so busy since I just moved. I’m very dissatisfied and I feel like I was robbed as this man milked me and knew exactly what he was doing to get that much money out of me and my husband. He used us to also do his work as we had no choice since he was charging hourly. This man destroyed our new tv that was still in the box plus other furniture pieces. This is absolutely unacceptable as this seem to be a planned conniving act as it was obvious it was carefully put together. From the day I booked I gave Sam my new address so I’m sure he did his research and knew that truck was not compatible with the bridges in the area yet he still went ahead with the taller truck. I need my money back I need something to be done. I was definitely scammed.
