Christian F******, owner/representative of Best Home Performance LLC falsely claimed he was an approved ******** ** contractor knowing that I would not move forward with work if he was not an approved ******** ** contractor. My energy audit completed by another contractor qualified me for re-imbursed of costs of blown in insulation installation in the exterior walls of my home. Christian required payment upfront for installation stating he would handle all extensions & submissions to the state of *********** ******** ** program for re-imbursement directly to me ensuring me I would have nothing to do but sign his contract, he would handle the rest. This company did not dense pack the walls as claimed, only providing fluff of insulation to make it look as dense packed. This company also damaged roof shingles in process of their work. Christina F****** (wife of Christian F******) claimed she was an approved installer for ******** ** & there will be no issue with re-imbursement. Later to find out he lied & she lied telling me her husband had medical issues, no longer providing me responses & her then telling me they cannot provide submission to ******** ** as they are not an approved company & her husband is in a dispute with his business partner & can no longer complete submissions through ******** ** **** ****** ********s. I contacted the state who informed me that Christian never completed the extension required for my submission & he could never have because he is not an approved contractor under the contractor list for ******** **. I would never have completed this transaction if he was honest. I would have never completed this transaction if I was not getting re-imbursed the costs by ******** **. The house is very cold as the work was not completed properly, easily seen with infrared temperature gun. This company provided me no resolution, I disputed half payment to which I was forced to pay through my credit card company. Many calls unanswered.
