  absolutely would highly recommend recently called for a new deck ours was definitely in need of some help Chris and his crew went above and beyond on delivering everything we hoped for and more very pleasant to deal with him and his crew absolutely would highly recommend 10 out of 10 will be calling again

  Definitely not an ethical contractor so please don’t hire this company. I got insulation work done by this company and they claimed to be an approved energizect contractor and that I would be able to get the insulation rebate of ~$2,000 which turned out to be false. They came and did the insulation work and afterward I found they did a crap job on the rim joist ceiling with many of the bays containing very little insulation. They didn’t mention anything about this when they asked for payment and probably wouldn’t have said anything if I hadn’t said anything. I called them on it and only then did they come back to do an adequate job. After this they helped with energizect rebate paperwork and acted surprised when energizect wouldn’t complete the rebate. Christian said he would work with energizect to get me the rebate or pay it out of his companies pocket saying “I'm going to continue to work on this but I want you to rest assured that even if the utilities do not give you an incentive on your project for whatever reason which I'm hoping is not the case as a show of good faith I will pay it out of my company to you if it ends up getting to that point. I just want you to rest assured that one way or another I'll hold up on my end of the bargain.” That was the last communication I got from him despite many emails and calls attempting to reach him. So if you want a contractor who will do a good job without you checking all their work and uphold their commitments avoid this company.

  Chris was phenomenal in guiding me through the insulation process. My house is nice and Toasty warm. Thank you for keeping my family warm last winter and hopefully cooler this summer!

  They are liars. Claimed to be an approved energize CT contractor and was going to handle reimbursement from energize CT fund from start to finish, to include extend my rebate for reimbursement of $3,000+cost. Nope didn't happen. No return phone calls. Now I'm out $3,000. Insulation in exterior walls were not installed to R15 pack as claimed. House is cold. Walls I insulated personally are warm to touch, walls they supposed filled to R15 are cold from exterior temp. Hand held temperature gun will show evidence of this. They don't even seal the exterior holes properly to avoid cold air from entering/infiltrating the walls, His wife business partner will give you a story also. They will tell you to look at their reviews ect .. Do yourself a favor and find another company!!

  I recently used this company for a porch repair due to water damage and an outside staircase repair as well. Everyone was very caring, respectful, and professional. They showed up when promised, answered any and all questions, and I feel they went above and beyond my expectations. Before selecting them for my job, I did my due diligence and had other companies come for an estimate and Best Home Performance was the ONLY company that actually looked for the source of the problem rather than just what had to be repaired. By doing this and actually fixing the problem as well as doing the needed repairs, I won't have a reoccurring issue with water damage! I highly recommend this company for any and all work you need done.
