  I first met Al B***** back in 1988. Al was paving and landscaping a local bank where I had my account. I asked for his card and called him a few months later to pave my gravel driveway. He did a great job. I also hired ALMAR Paving to resurface and stripe my law office parking lot. Again, fair bid, clean and quick work. (he and his crew did that job on a weekend so as not to interrupt my business). I referred ALMAR Paving to a client of mine at the local airport to pave the parking lot of his corporate hangar. He was more than pleased. I also referred ALMAR to a dear friend of mine who owned a local five star restaurant and wedding venue. Al paved the brand new access roadway to the back of the venue and his company also paved a large portion of the new parking area that serves the new function room. That was a huge job and it still remains in great condition. My last interaction with ALMAR Paving was to have Al and his crew resurface our driveway, a driveway that Al put in when we built the house in 1996 and it held up wonderfully for almost 25 years of heavy use. I cant say enough about how much of a professional and hard-working guy, Al B*****, and the men and women who work for him are. I wholeheartedly recommend Al B***** and ALMAR Paving and will use them again for any future paving projects.

  I am the other neighbor that split the cost of the shared driveway that was listed in the complaints section. Al B***** from Almar Paving gave a quote for asphalt millings and to replace the drain pipe going down our approximately 350 ft driveway. This driveway has a downward grade which has caused the old gravel driveway to wash out into the roadway on several occasions where I had to shovel up about 6 tons of gravel and manually put it back in the driveway. Almar Paving graded the driveway, replaced the hose and applied milling and sealant per our contract. Al Basley suggested adding loam and grass to the sides of the driveway as the errosion over the years from washing out was part of the problem. The next month the bottom half of the driveway washed out. This was due to the heavy rainfall, approximately 8-10 inches of rain in a 1 week period and poor drainage from the forest behind the properties. Almar Paving was contacted and came out and fixed the driveway and resealed it. A few months later the issue happened again. 250 ft of new piping was installed Almar Paving then repaired and installed a new swale in the back yard to divert water behind the houses as the original engineer plan of the development intended. As of 8/2/24 the driveway looks great and no more drainage issues have happened. Al Basley has always returned my calls and came to the residence to assist whenever | needed him. A Basley has done work on my property at no extra charge as to ensure the job would be done right. You can check Almar Paving's ******** to see my review and photos of the work.
