      Number of problems with Town Fair Tire. 1) Went there last year to get a tire plugged and the told me it couldn't be repaired and the tire needed replacing. The nail was in the tread so I knew he was trying to cheat me. I went to another Town Fair Tire in another location and they plugged the tire without question. 2) Another visit and appointment for alignment lasted for 3 hour wait with numerous walk ins being serviced ahead of me. 3) and this is the last straw and the reason i FINALLY made a complaint: My wife made an appointment today to get a TPS serviced. We dropped off the car and went to breakfast. She shortly received a Voicemail in which the Town Fair employee states that the tech had the tires off the car and couldn't repair the TPS because two of the tires were bald on the inside of the tread and they can't work on a car if it won't pass inspection. Smelling another cheat I went back to the store and asked about this. The employee told me that was their policy and I told him I thought it was BS and never heard of such a policy. He told me that they wouldn't be able to change the TPS without us replacing two new tires. The tires aren't bald and the car was due for a state inspection so I asked him if I got the car inspected first would he fix the TPS. He told me he was sure it wouldn't pass. Well surprise, surprise!!! The car was brought directly to an inspection station and passed without a problem. What a freaking joke this place is. Nothing but scammers. I should note that my wife was initially alone when she dropped the car off. I feel there is some discrimination going on and they were trying to take advantage of a female customer like many garages do.

      On 6/27/2022 I went into Town Fair tire ******** *** ********* to have winter tires taken from wheels that I purchased off and put on the factory wheels that were on my current vehicle. Also to have those tires put on the winter rims that I had purchased. Once doing a walk around with a guy named Corey he assured me everything would fit no problem and it would probably take them a few hours. See you later. Called me after the tires were installed and balanced and said the wheels don't fit on my car. He should have known that in the first place being a wheel and tire specialist. I was called a liar and told that I had told him they've been on the car before when an actuality. I had told him I just purchased these from somebody who said that they were on a ****** ****** which is the vehicle I own. He then wanted to charge me a second time to put everything back to normal which he did not do. I was promised that the wheels and rims would be placed in plastic bags since they were going to be put in my trunk in back seat. When I arrived they were not in plastic bags. There's grease and rubber stains all in my interior of my car. Also when I picked the car up there was no valve covers placed back on the vehicle and the hubcaps that were originally on when I arrived were not put back on the vehicle. I asked why and they said they didn't want to bang them on when. In fact they are called bang on hubcaps. I eventually spoke to a manager who called me back about a week or so later. He promised me I would be getting a refund in that that should never have happened and he was very apologetic and very nice. I never received any compensation nor have I received any compensation for the damages to the interior of my vehicle. I have video and photo evidence of me picking the car up in the parking lot and also took some more pictures once I arrived home. I also believe that they intentionally de-aligned my alignment on my vehicle because it drove perfect when I dropped it off.

      On 9/7/2022 I brought my 2016 **** ***** * to town fair tire in ****** ***** to receive tires and wheels, when i dropped the car off i was told it would only be an hour and a half. two hours later i walked out side and saw my car parked with no work done to it. i was approached by a tech, i asked the tech why the tires and wheels had not been changed over. he informed me that there were two Broken studs that were spinning in the wheel hub. i said ok and asked what we were going to do about it. I told him that i had just had that tire off 2 days before and the studs were not spinning. i am a mechanic and have working knowledge of how studs strip. the tech told me that he had a buddy who owns a shop and called him. i was told that it was going to be 430 dollars to replace a wheel hub that town fair tire had broken. I responded that i frequented one of there other tire shops and never had anything like this happen with them and asked how we were going to take care of it. The techs response was he didn't like my attitude and i was told to take it to the other shop. I responded by telling him that I'm a customer and to watch how he talked to me. he then asked what i was going to do about it and called me BIG MAN. I left extremely up set driving a car with a doughnut and 3 good studs on the drivers side. I called there customer service line spoke with a manager who told me that they do not replace broken wheel parts He didn't even want to address how his tech had treated me. I need help with this, business who are charged with people safety should not act in this manner. if they break something on someones car they should fix it and finely anyone who would treat a customer in this manner should be fired.

      On August 13 I took my car for wheel balancing went to pick it up was told that my lug nuts were wrong that my tires could fly off I payed for the service. When leaving noticed the my 2 front wheels were damaged where the lug nuts go all scratched. I had the rims for only 2 weeks prior brand new. Had to have them rebalance my wheel made appointment couple days later walked in manager gave me attitude wouldn't look me in the eye when was talking to him. Told me they wouldn't touch my car because of the lug nut were wrong. I left called to file a complaint about what happen and the damage. Spoke to Allen told to send pic which I did minutes after I hung up took a week to answer me. Finally gave an option to have the wheels fixed or pay for the damage and refund me the service amount I answered Allen the same day. Going on 3 weeks no answer or payment. Bad customer service from business and customer service rep.

      I was charged $229 per tire for a tire that costs $163 Per tire. It was not a case of a difference in advertised price. It was pure fraud. I was also overcharged on the 4 wheel alignment. When you buy tires, the alignment is 1/2 off. They charged me full proce.

      To Whom It May Concern,

      We sincerely apologize for Mr.  *****'s inconveneince and the price discrepancy. This is the first we are hearing of Mr. *****'s issue. The tire he was sold is a different tire from what is listed on our website as you can see the IBM numbers are different as well as the part numbers from ****. So t hey are different tire models.  Normally we would offer to swap the tire under the 30 day test drive to get him the lower price. However as a courtesy we will gladly just refund the difference. We will send a refund check for the difference to the address provided to the BBB.

      Please be advised that a representative of Town fair tire contacted me and we came to an agreement. res with the exception of one have no tread and they’re not even two years old yet! I find this completely unacceptable and I either want my original ***** tires back or to tell me where they were sold so I can go buy them from that vendor or get similar ones. Townfair quoted me approximately $1200 to get four new decent tires! I don’t have that kind of money and why would I pay that after what they’ve done to me? Or even use them again? Alternatively, I would like to get a good credit towards new tires that are appropriate for *** ******* weather. I did go into Townfair in ******** *********** where the work was done and the purchase made in November 2020 but they said they would not give me any credit whatsoever and I think that is terrible and I’ve been ripped off. Thank you.

      To Whom It May Concern;

      We sincerely apologize for the issue Ms. ******* is having with the tires on her vehicle. This is the first this office is hearing of Ms. ********* issue. The tires she purchased with her wheel package were our economy tires. We do offer a 30 day test drive on the tires will normally extend it out to 90 days had she informed us there was an issue. Unfortunately with it being almost 2 years since we installed the wheels and tires we would not have any of her old tires or wheels. We can offer a buy back on the tires. If she has less than 10k miles on the tires we will give 100% credit on what she paid for the tires themselves (about $65.00 per tire).  If she has over 10k miles on the tires we would pro rate the tires for her based on a 40k mile life expectancy and half of her usage as a courtesy. So if she drove 20k milease we would look at it as if she drove 10k miles and and give her a 75% credit instead of a 50% credit. She would be able to put the credit towards the tires of her choice. Please have Ms. ******* contact me at ************** *** *** to arrange the credit in store.

      Sincerely,

      Rich A****

      I went into the **** ******** Store for a tire rotation. I was told that i would need to make an appointment for the next day, which I did. I came in exactly the time of the appointment, and they told me that i would have to wait 3 hours. The manager was a fool. He told me that I should have gone to, other Town Fair Tire stores. I contacted management and was contacted by Rich A****. I tried to contact him in vain, then he sent me an email that he would send me a check for $50.00 for my time. I never received the check or heard back from him again. absolutely terrible customer service. I asked if they could give me an alignment and the $50.00. The appointment was in the middle of the day, and I cancelled other things to be there. I never heard back from Rich A****, after he originally sent me an email apologizing and said he would send me a check. Absolutely terrible customer service from the top down.
