      Service: Semi-estimate done virtually.
What happened: Some HVAC companies charge a lot just to come down and take a look at things, while others offer free estimates. But, sometimes it is better to pay more than less to get a quality service. Still, with such variability, I thought it important to ask questions before scheduling. They refused to take my call (1st call ever to them), but said I can text. I did so, but was confused by their answer. I also asked about possible warranty coverage, but ultimately they refused to service my A/C unit. Between the poor communication, including confusing figures where I still don't know if their quote was for coming down, then more to repair, or what..., I felt their refusal to service w/o even having all the facts (turned out it wasn't a warranty issue, but a clogged drain...) warranted a negative review, which led them to then do name calling. In my review I wrote that if we work things out, that I'll revise my review, so nothing permanent was done..... So, poor communication and name calling were prominent.
In retrospect, I'm guessing they either rush through replies and that leads to a higher than usual miscommunication potential, and/or they're not native English speakers. I'd think it best that they stop the name calling texts and instead they and I should admit how we could have communicated better and start fresh (at which time I'd revise my reviews).
