I don’t know or care what others say, my experience with NorthEast Wood Stoves was terrific. They extended my chimney to the correct height and inserted a new interior pipe to complete this job. I found then great to work with, Jerry’s workmanship on the exterior chimney was perfect, and he listened to our concerns regarding the interior pipe so he was able to complete the job to our satisfaction. NorthEast Wood Stoves are a small company with professional people. I recommend them highly.
    Thank you Ken & Jerry.

Run, Run, Run Away from this business!!!
If I could give Ken a zero, I would. I bought a wood stove from him in 2020 and it was a nightmare from the start. I agree with another reviewer that he is a liar and a crook. To those that give him a great review I wish you luck with his installation. For me - I would never do business with him. If asked, I will tell them to run as fast as they can! Please stick with the larger and more established stove businesses. They may cost more, but you do get what you pay for. From Ken you get the cheap and unskilled approach that will cost you more in the long run. No wonder he won't pull the proper permits and puts the permit process on the buyers follow or not! His work would never pass! For me it has cost me more than $3,000 dollars plus my time and energy to fix the damage he did to the stove during installation. I asked for double lined flue and got a single when he said it was double. then He failed to use the proper in flue parts, installed the flue upside down, and put the wrong cap on the top. So, buyer beware and run away from Ken and Northeast Woodstove & Fireplace!!
The only way I would say a pleasant thing about Ken is if he apologized and refunded for the damage, terrible installation, and wrong parts.
Run, Run, Run Away from this business!!!

Bought a ********* pellet stove (insert for fireplace) on 8/2/2021. Nothing but problems from then with this business. Install date of 8/19/21 was rescheduled due to rain. 9/2/21 was new installation date but I was told they didn't have a stove?? My only guess is they had my stove on 8/19 and gave it to someone else thinking they could get a new stove in time for my rescheduled install date. Rescheduled again for 9/14 and again for 9/21 (finally installed). Ordered pellets on 9/21/21, cancelled order on 10/12/21 (kept getting run around when they'd have pellets in) and bought from a different company (had in 2 days). Tried starting stove mid-October and wouldn't turn on. Ken tried troubleshooting over the phone, nothing worked. After multiple calls he finally came on 11/1/21 and said a pipe was damaged during the installation. Said he'd bring a new part on 11/4 (no call, no show). Finally the original installer came the following week to fix the stove. The first night that I left the stove on in mid November, I woke up to smoke detectors going off - the stove door had opened and the house was filled with smoke. The door then kept popping open multiple times on its own, I was told by Ken that the door would "wear in after it was used for awhile". I have never left the stove on overnight or when I'm not home because I don't feel safe and his explanation was completely ridiculous. I had the stove serviced/cleaned on 10/13/22 - they tried to fix the handle but couldn't, definitely not something that will "wear in after it's used". I am now in contact with the manufacturer to try and fix the problem. I paid over $4300 for the stove and installation. Their lack of knowledge and concern when working on products that can be super dangerous when not working properly is frightening. Worse experience ever and it's not over yet.
