    On February 28th in the hours of the am I entered Russell Speeders car wash in Fairfield ** as my car was being washed I heard a loud thrashing sound and the wash turned off an agent from the wash approached my vehicle and said my bumper on the back of the car had come off I was backed out of wash and was told they would need me to fill out incident report so I did they never reached out my damages are $1024.63 and they will not help with any of it

    On Feb 28, 2025 **** ********* started going through my car wash. She was not even 5 feet in before my brush slid in between her bumper and her car from above. My brush was able to slide in between her bumper and her car and pull because I believe the bumper was already loose. I took pictures and an accident report and let her know I would be reaching out in a few days. I called a few times and always got no answer. A week or so later my office left me an email saying that I was given the wrong phone number and they gave me the correct one. I called to let **** ********* know that although we have a sign outside that clearly says we are not responsible for any loose parts, molding or vehicles over 5 years old(her car fit all criteria) I would pay to reattach her bumper. As you can see in the picture above the clips on the bumper were not damaged they just slide off so that is an option. That is when she told me she wanted it replaced and it would be over $1000.  I apologized and told her that I would not be able to help. My offer to reattach the bumper still stands.

    I had two carwash passes that I put in for cancelation on July 16 2024. Russell Speeder only canceled one of the accounts and are still charging me for the other as of August 24, 2024. I was charged on July 24 and August 24. I would like to be reimburse for the two charges to my credit card that they have on file.

    I have found the account that wasn't canceled, refunded the last 3 months of payments because he hadn't used it at all, and canceled the account.  I attached the email that I sent him today of the steps I took to resolve this situation.

    Yes when I got the membership with them I was only being charged $21.27 and yesterday they charged my account $47.85 without noticing my or my permission to do so and if they went up on the price they should let the customer know so they can decide for themselves if they want to keep the membership or cancel it and every time I call there number all I get is a automated system telling me that I reached them after business hours

    I found this account and it had been refunded the charge of $47.85 and then she reactivated the account to cancel it later.  Please let me know if this is enough to close this complaint.

    Today, 9/6/2023 I noted yet another monthly charge to our account on 9/5/23, we received a charge that we are disputing and seeking to block with our bank. The charge is $31.89 and this merchant is charging us this every month despite our efforts to have it cancelled and reversed for the past three months. The merchant is Russell Speeder Car Wash (charged as: *********************). They are located at *** ***** ****** ** ********** ** ***** My wife paid for a car wash in June in this manner that allowed the initial charge in June and she was told it would not reoccur. She never signed an agreement and did not agree to a monthly reoccurring charge of $31.89. The charge appeared again on August 3rd and July 5th. At those times and this time, we tried reaching the merchant by phone and we were unable to get anyone at the Car Wash company, either corporate or locally. We called 203-331-1100 and at all times rolls to a voicemail that is full. My wife had to go down in person and argue with the manager to reverse the charge and to cease any further charges. It was reversed on July 17th. Now we are in September and the charge appears again as it did in August and July despite cancelling it with our financial institution and with the car wash in person. We would like to report this as fraud and block this merchant from charging our account. Please advise at your earliest convenience. Call me if need be to discuss the matter. Thank you.

    I have been helping Kyle H***** get these old Better Business Bureau complaints resolved.  With the help of our customer service team, we found that ***** ********** has been refunded $95.67 on 10-6-23.   The attachments above show that we have issued the refund.  I will be following up with Mr. ********** by email to assure that he is satisfied with the outcome of the resolution.
