We currently rent a Washer & Dryer monthly from Moonbeam.

We have submitted complaints since AUGUST of 2024 ( 9 months ).

Our dryer is not currently drying properly.
We have tried every possible solution ; including smaller loads amongst several other things in the last 9 MONTHS !
Moonbeam has sent several technicians to our unit -
(( 1st visit ))- they cleaned the vent
(( 2nd visit )) - They took the unit apart
(( 3rd visit )) they re cleaned the filter vent
(( 4th visit ))- said it's heating and nothings wrong
(( 5th visit )) - the complex had to have someone look at the roof vent ( no findings )
** we called moon beam who proceeded e the 6th visit below**
(( 6th visit )) - moon beam MADE MY APARTMENT complex send ANOTHER roof company here to look again because the first time wasn't good enough.
NONE OF THIS HAS SOLVED THE ISSUE.
WE ARE PAYING MONTHLY FOR A DRYER THAT DOES NOT WORK!!

We have requested a NEW UNIT TO BE OUT into our apartment YET they are refusing.
THEY FOUND NOTHING WRONG ALL THESE TIMES ; yet THEY ARE NOW they will have a ( 7TH ) visit ----- SAYING THEY ARE GOING TO REPLACE A PART on the dryer ?????
WE ARE ONLY REQUESTING A NEW DRYER UNIT as a resolution ASAP.
We are not wasting any more of our time or money unless it is a new dryer in our unit.
Or we are requesting the unit be removed and a STOP payment for the monthly cost ASAP --- we have been paying for something that doesn't work & we have not been prorated and a company that is giving us a run around.

Once again this is crazy...I picked up my box on last Friday a week has passed and I have NO service because Tech is on vacation until the middle of August!!!! Not exceptable....this company is terrible. And on top of all of that it's like no other companies can do business over here at "***** ***** ****". I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau also.Business Response

I moved to a community where I didn’t think anything about them providing an internet provider, that we pay them for, and they get third party. Except this internet is the absolute worst internet company I’ve ever experienced and I’ve tried just about all of them from my times in different states. Their internet goes out AT LEAST 5 times a week for hours. Right not it’s been out almost 18 hours and can’t even figure out how to check for an outage and they don’t answer the phones. On the website you can only submit a complaint, which they never answer. It’s so hard to get answers from this company about anything at all. It has to be an outage because I reset my router 5+ times today, and nothing. I’m not unreasonable, I know stuff happens. But come on, to go out regularly 5+ times a week for months?! You’d think they’d do something about the constant outages. How am I supposed to complete my schooling online when I can’t even count on an internet provider I PAY for? And am essentially forced to use. I can’t run cables through an apartment building obviously so any other internet I use cannot be Ethernet. My lease is up in a few months and I’m considering not renewing my lease just because the internet is so bad and I cant rely on it to finish schooling I need to do. I can only tell my professor so many times my internet went out before it seems entirely unbelievable. Not really sure where else to go from here besides posting reviews so everyone else knows not to use this company, because I’m doubtful this review will end in resolution.Business Response

We just completed our upgrade on the internet system at this property. Going forward we do not expect any outages. Our speed has doubled as of today. We have reached out to this customer and waiting to hear back if service is better for them. We are willing to work with them to resolve any issues they are having. We can be reached by our toll free number by voice mail or text or our website ticket system. I have personally text the resident asking them to please let me know if the issue are much better and to let us know ASAP if they are not. Due to COVID my career changed to a *** position. I have missed multiple days from work in the past due to streaming speed. Once school opened back up the problem existed but not as bad until recently. In the month of June and again in July I placed a call regarding issues with service interruption. The tech didn't look at any outlet or anything but placed the blame on a modem which I purchased refurbished from the leasing office. Please note the modem was purchased as a result of a previous complaint on speed, in which moonbeam requested I get an "updated box" from the leasing office. On Thursday 8/3 night my service went out and here it is 8/5/23 at 1055pm still no service. I have again lost 2 days of work. When I contacted Moombeam via text because that is how they resolve internet issues, the response was no ETA in when services would be restored. They are closed on weekends. This company has the worse customer service I have ever encountered. They will respond with very rude texts that makes you uncomfortable to have their texhs in your home.Business Response

Moonbeam will replace the modem at no charge to the resident as well as send a technician to replace any parts at no cost to the resident. Moonbeam was on site on Saturday 8/5 and no answer at door. An email was sent to her leasing office to give her a modem at no charge. We can still send tech back out if she is still not receiving internet at no charge. Our hours of operations are 730am Monday through Friday and 930am to 8:00pm on Saturday. Text and our web site complaints are answered on Sunday by text and a call if needed. I have been living in ****** ***** *********s since I moved to ******* in 2018. The internet is awful and I am forced to keep it when there are better internet providers in my area. Due to Covid I had to start working from home where I have to rely on my internet service for work and boy does this service ****. The speed is horrible to say the least. You would think that if I am hard wired in, I should have any issues but that is not the case. I wish they could provide better service or allow residents to purchase our own internet.Business Response

We have been explaining our whole sale internet service provider from ******** has an outage since Thursday 1/19 2:15pm, and they are working on the repairs. ******** hasn't given us an udate or ETA on the repair. We apologize for the inconvenience and have ask for residents to send us a text and we will update as soon as Moonbeam gets an update from ********. Our ticket with ******** was escalated and we are waiting on an update from our provider so that we can update our residents with the information. Since I moved to what I thought would be a great place. I realized we are forced to have honestly one of THE WORST INTERNET ever with moonbeam. I just moved here and never have good connection with my cell phone. Buffers or doesn’t load. I also always have my tvs buffering can’t stream correctly. Than TONIGHT, it just went out and I have reset so many times. After 8 YOU HAVE NO TROUBLESHOOTING AVAILABLE EXCEPT LEAVE A MESSAGE. Just horrible service and it’s not reliable especially my job is working from home. My connection is JUST HORRIBLE. If I ever moved to a new location I can promise you if they have only moonbeam. I would NEVER EVER EVER SETTLE FOR THIS COMPANY. I would of found a new place. This is literally the worst I have ever encountered in my life. The fact my internet is my entertainment for streaming and my son for gaming and than it just goes out or always slow loading or buffering. No unacceptable. KNOWING THIS WITH NO IMPROVEMENT TO THE SERVICE IS UNBELIEVABLE. This is horrible and I. Have to wait just to speak to someone NEXT DAY TO FIX THIS. I have been staying at ******* **** ***, unfortunately we have to use the company moonbeam. This is by far the worse internet and cable company.I have been at resident for 6 years and the internet is ALWAYS GOING OUT. They try to blame you for using a splitter but in my bedroom there isn’t a splitter cable continues to go out. It’s unfair the apt complex use this company and we are force to pay the fee even though this company cable is VERY LOW GRADE.I have no choice but to deal with it cause I have school age kids.at times we must drive to ******** or the library for my children to compete virtual classes.
