The lawyers they use like Gurstel Law firm will even create fake affidavits. The will also report inaccurate information on your credit . They need to be stopped period

This company unlawfully placed a levy on my personal checking account 2 months ago for more than $750 leaving me with only $1 in my checking account. There was no warning whatsoever and no details of what the debt was. This company should be sanctioned by the government!

Calvary started garnishing my wages July/2024 for an alleged debt from 2009 that I DID NOT make! I had no knowledge of the debt until they garnished my check. I called general sessions and they claimed there were no active garnishments yet money was being taken from my check. I had to pay to get them in court to address the garnishment and get information. I initially spoke with Holly who agreed to give me information on the debt and never returned my phone call afterwards and once I called them back she was no longer handling my case. Holly sent me fraud paperwork before handing over my case, I left several messages before I was able to speak with the new lady Shaina who had even less information in regards to my case and kept giving me the run around. I spoke to the original debt holder who too confirmed i never had an account with them and that after 7years they would no longer have any record of the debt. Calvary can't confirm the debt, I've requested proof and it's not on my credit and has never been, the SOL has twice expired on enforcing a debt yet they are garnishing my wages and giving me the run around in regards to extinguishing this debt. They say the initial debt was 2500 yet they are attempting to collect 5000 but, they have no proof and refuse to provide me any documentation in regards to this debt or even the agreement that they made with BOA. I can't file a police report because I have no ideal who signed for this debt. However, this company is only concerned with taking peoples money fraudulent or otherwise and they are refusing to show up to court! This company is breaking so many of the Fair credit reporting acts regulations and they seem to have the upper hand and they feel like they are above reproach because they can access your finances without notification or verification with no adverse penalties and this needs to be addressed! They seem to be attacking people in lower income brackets knowing they don't possess the resources to fight back.

Seized my personal property due to old unsecured credit card debt of my boyfriends from years before I knew him. Discussed another person's debt with me in my yard and demanded immediate payment from me. Threatened me with the seizure of my vehicle if I didn't pay up. Also lied to the police officer that I called and said that they are also seizing other personal property of mine to satisfy boyfriends debts because they can. My name is no where on any judgement or filings. I have never been served. I have never been shown proof that this debt exists. I was never shown any identification from collection person.

      1 Star is too many.
These bottom feeders purchased a so-called debt over 15 years old that I never owed. I was a victim of identity theft and it was reported to the police, yet they keep trying to contact me. They violate several laws such as:
      1. The collection agency must contact you about the sale before attempting to collect the debt. They do not
      2. The statute of limitations has expired on those debts; (time ebbed)
They routinely try to contact you with threatening calls, and snail mail
      3. They consistently violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
They are crooks and should be investigated by the Feds for improper practices.
