I called Travelers insurance at 8:51 am on 6/17/25 to let them know I was not renewing my auto insurance with them due on 6/23/25. I told them it was on auto draft and they assured me I had called in early enough to stop it. On 6/24/25 my account was auto drafted $4,320.00 for the policy I had canceled. I called them and Ivy told me it would be 3-5 days before they could get the money back to my account. My account was overdrawn and I have other payments coming in before then. So she transferred me to Wesley who is a supervisor and he told me not it will be 10 days to get my money back and if I want to be reimbursed for any fees or interested I would have to email them after that. This is unacceptable and theft as far as I am concerned.Business Response

12/9/24 there was flood at my business ****** **** ***, Travelers Insurance is the commercial liability insurance provider. I have experienced many unethical issues and practices regarding payment to a vendor. The vendor provided a service and Travelers has yet to make payment to ***** ***** ********* ***** ******** It has been over six months and still no communication from Travelers regarding an update on payment. They do not return my calls, nor do they respond to my emails for any updates. In the meantime the vendor is in the process of filing a lien against the owners property. They have been dishonest in their evaluation of the damages to the suite in which I run my business. ***** has reached out several times to resolve this manner, and they refuse to provide any information to either of us. They have been reported to the ***** ***** ***** ** ********* and have yet to comply with any requests for information regarding payments.
They have been biased against this vendor and made damaging statements regarding their billing process and referred to them as being known to inflate their prices. I am caught in the crossfire and suffering the consequences of their negligence with their refusal to communicate with either party. My wife was driving on the highway and a lady talking on her phone swerved into her lane. My wife hit her brakes to avoid the accident, and a tractor trailer rear ended my wife. we have been waiting for 3 weeks to get this resolved. They asked me for the accident report; I sent it twice and there was no response. I then got an email that the agent tried to call my wife twice yesterday. The only calls on my wife's phone are the 2 that my wife tried to call. We called this morning and left a message that we had no logged calls from ********* ***. Then I received an email that they would not cover the damages. Because the driver is disputing the ticket he got for faulty brakes.Business Response

I have presented a claim to my homeowners insurance Travelers Personal Insurance Company for interior water damage as a result of damages to a hot water line. Date of Loss: 04/14/2025. Claim Number: *******. Based on my homeowners policy Travelers may pay up to $5,414.65 of the depreciation once I have repaired and replaced the damage once receipts and invoices have been submitted. This complaint concerns Travelers Insurance and it's ongoing failure to communicate w me regarding my insurance claim. My date of loss was 04/14/2025. I have contacted both claims adjuster and his supervisor w no response. I have contacted customer service and was told I could not escalate this matter nor receive the name of a regional director/manager despite the complete unresponsiveness. This is a violation of multiple Texas laws and ethical standards********3 Unfair claims settlement due to lack of good faith communication. ************ Prompt Payment of Claims Act. Common Law Duty of Good Faith. Travelers has failed in its obligation to deal honestly and fairly w me as its policyholder. I was contacted by a person working for this company on 6/17/2025. I was sent a statement with how much I would be paid for one of their insured drivers causing damage to my vehicle as well as lost wages for myself and my child. They stated they would pay “right away” via ***** but they have not paid anything out yet and are ignoring my calls, texts and emails despite stating they respond within 24 hours.Business Response

My refund check was supposedly sent out April 14th and it was sent to the wrong address.
I tell the customer service agent my MAILING ADDRESS is my PRINCIPAL address.
AND IT IS SUPPOSEDLY CORRECTED. And now it is being re-sent out May 23rd and it's going to WRONG ADDRESS again.
However, I had my policy renewal documents shipped to the right address, even after I cancelled my policy! Picture located below Expedite my refund check overnight to my prinicpal address on the property!
When I need my money back, Traveler's finds a way to circumvent it, but when they need their money for renewal, that's fine, THEN they will note the correct addressBusiness Response

4/26/25 - date of CLAIM of hail damage to home
Date of loss 5/2/24 *******
Paid 17k for new roof when I should have paid 5k for deductible.
Policy covers hail & wind damage. Premiums current. 4 roofing companies provided roof replacement bids; 4 companies confirmed roof hail damage.
Roof currently tarped due to 2 severe leaks.
Travelers initial inspector claimed no hail damage; I asked for a re-inspection. Travelers sent 3rd party roofer who walked roof with my roofer. 3rd party marked EXACTLY the same places of damage to roof in a different color chalk as my hired roofer - who has been doing this kind of work 21 years. Travelers denied my claim again. I asked for an appraisal; Travelers denied my request.
Had an appraisal been done by 2 independent roofing companies there would be no denying my roof was not only hail damaged but wind damaged on May 2, 2024. And instead of paying $17,000 for a new roof I w have had to pay my deductible of $5,000.

I am the claimant on a auto collision that occurred on 3/24/2025. The Travelers claim number is **********. My issue is that the claims adjuster is not paying the full amount of the rental car cost I incurred while my damaged car was inoperable. I rented a car the day after the collision, 3/25/2025. I provided the claims professional, Cynthia C******, ###-###-####, with photos and receipts that indicate the date of loss and the rental car costs. The claims professional reduced the reimbursement amount by $326.52, citing fuel surcharges and a date of loss 3 days after the actual date of loss. They based the incorrect date of loss on a date their own estimator wrote on a form while inspecting the car at the body shop on 4/17/2025. They are saying that I rented a car 3 days prior to the date of loss, which is quite a ludicrous notion. The fuel surcharges are listed on the receipts and total $13.85, subtracting this leaves $312.67. Travelers still owes me $312.67Business Response

I am still waiting on the rest of the money to get my roof and parts of my sidding repaired from Hurricane Helene 9/2024. I had to resubmit the claim from the contractor and was given another insurance adjuster. This claim was submitted again on 4/4/25 and I still haven't been given an update. The adjuster or her supervisor doesn't answer the phone or returns Voicemails. The adjuster finally sent an email on 4/21 but still my roof is not fixed. Customer service is not helpful, is rude and will not allow me to speak to management above the adjusters supervisor.Business Response

Contacted a CSR before My May Bill In April and wanted info on the last day to pay my policy before a cancellation or any lapse in coverage. Of course I was given incorrect information so I called to speak to a Rebecca on 4/30/25 and advised her of what my issue was. Not only did she not answer my questions but she hung up on me. So I called back she answered the phone again and I asked her on a recorded line why did she hang up on me? She refused to help me, refused to answer my questions and I still was not assisted for the original issue I called about. Travelers is a very poor company the fact that they would hire a CSR that hangs up on their customers is unacceptable. She did not assist me at all and now I am irrirtated and I was not assisted. I Deeply regret signing up with this company and I intend to get a new reliable insurance company asap. Travelers Customer service is extremely poor!!!! I do not recommendBusiness Response
