    I didn't get my disability money this month because late last month, I told *** I just got a job that starts this month. So I couldn't pay rent this month. Manager is charging me a late fee for rent even though it was ****** ********'s fault for not paying me the money this month. I just started this job so I don't have the money. It's not fair to me that I take the blame for ****** ********'s fault. Why should I have to pay a late fee when it was *** that refused to pay me the disability money this month? Demarco needs to let the fee go and let me pay rent when I get paid this month. I did promise the manager I will pay the full rent this month before the month ends. The late fee is blood money. I have no money. I would like them to waive the late fee. It's not my fault. I have been paying rent on time for the last 10 years to demarco. This was ****** ********'s fault. Please waive it.

    This was sent to Demarco on Monday, it's Friday and they still didn't respond. They're not taking this seriously. They're bunch of rotten bozos.

    I have a big problem with Demarco. If they own ****** ****** **********, they need to enforce their own rules on their own tenants. There are problem tenants at this address as the manager is well aware of, such as ***** ****** ** ** and others. They keep their trash outside their units and their bikes in the hall ways and none of the property managers before this new one has done anything about it. I complained a million times to get these ********* out, but they never enforce their own rules. They have a new rule for not allowing any bikes in the building, but they never even enforce it. Anyone can get in this building and loiter, as I have always witnessed. We need security guards in this building, and someone who will kick out the trouble tenants. ***** ****** *** **** ** *** ********** are 2 of the most troublesome tenants in this building. **** introduced cockroaches into this building years ago, and it never got taken care of, he keeps his apartment dirty so roaches keep coming back to him and his surroundings. What good are your rules if you don't even enforce them? Kick them out of here.

    Good afternoon,

     

    Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.  ****** ****** ********** consists of 20 units all with supportive services available, if needed by the tenant. This property is owned by *** ******** ***. with several units reserved for individuals who have experienced chronic homelessness or at risk of homeless with a verifiable diagnosis of severe and prolonged mental illness or dual diagnosis (MH/SA) and have a certified need for supportive services.  On-site case management services are provided by *** ***., however information about residents is confidential and not shared with Property Management specific to their disability and individual treatment plans.  DeMarco Management is responsible for the oversight of the property's routine operations, rent collections and lease enforcement. As the property managers we work closely with the owners, who ultimately make the decisions relative to building operations. 

     

    In accordance with the building's maintenance program, integrated pest management services are provided * * * **** ******* ******* and scheduled for the entire building monthly.  Each unit and common areas are treated every 30 days for routine household pests.  Management is provided with a report documenting evidence of activity, conditions of the unit and follow up action when deemed necessary.

     

    Center Street is a secured building with a fobbed entrance and equipped with security cameras.  The property's operations plan does not support a third-party security contract nor has the Owners of the property presented the need for additional security measures.  The building doors have been confirmed as operational, lock and secure properly.  There are no recorded incidents of security concerns, loitering or problems with trespassing.  

     

    All residents are welcomed to meet with the Property Manager to discuss any matters regarding their individual housing needs or concerns that they may have.  We appreciate the opportunity to provide your office with a response to the complaint described in your notice and will follow up with the property staff to determine what immediate follow up action is warranted.
