      This company has misrepresented the contract, sold defective products and then charged me for their services. After repairing a problem they changed my contract and went up on their price. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

      I have been without service for four months just two weeks ago. They called to tell me they are in my area to give me service so I took it upon myself to put in a cancellation. I was told I had to mail My cancellation letter, but when I called the next day requesting cancellation, they told me to email it and now at this present time I am waiting on them to send me a buyout letter they have been giving me the runaround for quite some time, but they have no problem getting their payment so I immediately put a stop to that. I do have a new service at which they tried to tell me it was against the law but at this point I do not give a ****. I am trying to protect my family at all costs.

      AMP SMART has been my security company for the last six years. I was contracted initially for five years, but they continued the contract past the five years without any notification. I asked to cancel , and they informed me that I couldn’t cancel the contract even though I was willing to pay the remaining balance just to cancel or terminate the contract . They are refusing to accept my offer and won’t acknowledge my request. I am now contracted to March 2026 at a cost of 90.00!per month . My contract indicates that I can terminate the contract by paying a termination fee or the balance of the contract, which I am willing to do , but they are opposed to it. I put a stop payment on the account so no more funds can be withdrawn. They probably will turn my account over to collections because they will not be able to automatically withdraw their funds. Currently, their equipment has been dismantled and is no longer operational, but I still have their equipment. I am perplexed concerning this situation. I have talked to many representatives in this company, and none of them is offering a viable solution but to keep the account in force and to pay for something you don’t want . They offer to rectify the equipment, but I do not desire to do any more business with them and want to cancel or terminate the contract.

      One should use care to use Safe Home Security. I have had a couple of issues with them, one where support tried to trick me into a long time service contract and more recently, I had a qualified vendor replace a sensor and did so because the staff from SHS does not seem to know much about newer technology. When the vendor went to test the sensor, they could not because SHS did not use the typical default code that most companies use. When I contacted and asked if they could put "my system" on default so the vendor could complete the work, they refused saying the vendor would steal the code which is impossible because no one asked for the code, it was not true.

      Good salesman ship BUT from there on its LIES; can't help you,very slow to follow on, to follow through..promises NOT kept;; None trustworthy,,,RUN,FLEE,DON'T TOUCH IT,,ITS a Lie !!

      Fraudulent and predatory business practices. I’ve had basically the same experience as those listed here. They renewed my contract for FIVE YEARS without warning, agreement, awareness, signing of anything. Can’t cancel without huge fee. In order to cancel, must be in writing per our “contract” that I cannot access. I was told once my letter was received, they would send a letter back confirming cancellation - Never happened. Their system is down, there is no email, there is no one to answer, waiting “fifth” in line for a phone representative = dropped call EVERY TIME.
      Sent a certified letter that was received, demanding our service be terminated by end of contract (thank god we happened to call a couple months before this) with specific instruction/refusal to renew in ANY way. Got a call from a rep wanting to let us know it’s a new company now and what can they do. No thank you, we’re done. The rep, LYNN SOUCY, confirmed this. Now weeks later, we’ve received a call, more badgering and the women said our contract is RENEWED UNTIL 2028 - WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION! What the hell??? What do we do? This is illegal, fraudulent and predatory.

      They said they had a service technician within 10 miles of me, that said person never returned or responded to phone calls, so I called the sales representative, two weeks later they responded and came out and replaced my faulty sensors, which did work for 2 or three days and then completely stopped working. I’ve called multiple times and each time I requested a cancellation and they never responded back but my bill keeps growing. This was back in October of 2024. I called again the other day and they were supposed to call me back TODAY!! Still nothing, horrible customer service.

      You better watch your billing close!!! My paper copy says due 18th but online May 31st! Couldnt figure out why I’m late each month. Talked to rep who sounded totally exhausted from struggling to understand it enough to explain. He said it’s stupid and causes people to be late which affects credit scores! I was also slimed into another contract when I called to cancel 2 months before end of contract. If you have them cancel when you can. If you’ve been solicited by sales hang up on them. My bill has Ben twice as much as they said it would be. Now bc of how they bill, I’m paying for 2 months each month!

      THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY EVER! I received a text from a rep as if it were coming from ADT about upgrading my security system from 3G to 5G in August of 2024. The rep came out and basically told me that I needed to upgrade because eventually my system would no longer work without an upgrade, the monthly price hike made me decline and I said I would cross that bridge when I got there of my system no longer working. I got another text in May 2025 saying the same thing about an upgrade and free doorbell or camera. The rep came out and told me that ADT was being bought out and everyone would eventually have to change alarm carriers. LIES! They gave me a letter to mail to ADT to cancel my service but that didn't sit right with me. I called ADT to see if they were being bought out and if this was legit or had I been played. The ADT rep let me know in so many words, I had been had! I called Safe Home to cancel and since I was 7 days outside of the 3 day window that it was tough luck and that I was stuck for the next 60 months! The tactics of the sales rep are DECEPTIVE and I whole heartedly hope this company goes under for the way that they treat people. Customer service for Safe Home is a complete joke, they even answer the phone defensively because they already know the complaints that will roll in because they are CON ARTISTS!!! IF THEY TEXT YOU TO UPGRADE, REPORT AS JUNK AND BLOCK THEM IMMEDIATELY!!!!
