      DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THE COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. Safe Home Security has the worst customer service imaginable. I have been waiting over two months since June 20th to have a problem fixed. Twice the alarm was activated but we never received a call from the monitoring center. I am paying for monitoring that I am not getting. I was given just one month credit on my bill. The keypad continually reads "service required". We have now paid $199 for a piece of equipment that we were told we need to fix, update the system. There have been 13 calls to SHS, spoke to 8 different people and five service appointments where a tech doesn't show up to install this equipment! As of today we are still waiting as we were told yesterday that someone would call us today to set up an appointment. This happened to us in October 2021 also when we had an issue with the fire alarm and waited until January for the tech to arrive after not showing up for many appointments. Again, three months with a system we could not set and got just one month credit. He finally showed and said the system is working, but keypad still read "service required" after he left. Unfortunately we have a contract with them until 2025 and I am reading the difficulty that clients have trying to end their service.

      I fell victim to a fast talking sales rep who talked me into signing a five year contract - knowing that we were selling the home - based on a slew of false statements and promises. The company refuses to negotiate an adjustment to the $3500 early cancellation fee, even though I explained that I’m on a fixed income and that my signature was based on falsehoods I was told by the rep. I have since learned that this company has a national reputation for these practices and two judgments against it in its home state.
      At the time of sale, I clearly told the sales rep that we were moving and that the decision to keep the equipment and take on the contract was at the discretion of the buyers. I was told I could have “put the contract into the mortgage,” which my realtor said was patently false. I have now been told that the only way to avoid paying the $3500 penalty was to have the equipment sent to me. As I am moving into a condo that provides its own security measures, this is not doable. The company is aware of this and refuses to budge. I’ve since learned that this is their business model. These are predatory practices aimed at people who want to feel less vulnerable in their homes. The young man saw an easy mark and pounced. Let this be a cautionary tale to others in my position. This company is supposed to deal in security but actually takes it away. They should be heavily penalized.

      I have been trying to contact this company for quite some time. Couldn't get anyone to answer. Finally, I let it ring for probably about 30 times and a recording came on. Automated message. Could never get through to anyone. Just wanted to schedule someone to come out to replace some batteries. Before, a few months ago, we tried to cancel and were told we renewed our contract. Was not informed this was coming up nor did we sign to renew.

      This company sends out sales people that blatantly lie to potential customers. We purchased a security system and the salesman told us we were signed up for 1 year. It is my fault I didn't read that it was actually 5 years on the agreement. A little over a year later I got divorced and moved out of the house the account was in my name so I was stuck with it. Over the next 4 years all I get are mails about the bill but when I call to cancel all I get is transferred to a number that rings and rings and no answer. Instead they keep billing me and tacking on fees. Their customer support people are extremely rude and even calling the main service customer support line half the time you get disconnected while on hold. If you are ever approached by someone from Safe Home Security slam the door in their face or run the other way because this company lies cheats and steals to get customers on the hook.

      this organization- Safe Home Security: Scam
      Took over former TBI account, contact via email by Hannah- said everything will be seamless and remain as is.... not true- was never told I'm committed to a 36 month contract #1- my fault for not read the electronic file.. since- my service has been in trouble, can't get a call back , managers don't follow up, get told there is buy out fee of over $1000.00- my radio needs to be removed and or upgraded, which i never had a problem for 2 and half years. they can't get a dispatch for 10 days since initial reporting.. they follow a script, and do not care.. they told me, it will go to collections if i don't pay the buy out fee.. its been a few weeks since they took my account, not transparent and a disaster to work with.. full refund of my payment made and zero cancel fee required..

      Safe Home Security:
      1} poor service followup. I have been without service since May 1 2022 when I was told my 3G service needed upgrading to 4G/5G. I was shipped parts in April. This is where the fun begins.
      The company outsources the technician component of the business. My area gets serviced on Tuesdays. It is now August 3rd. After several scheduled appointments that where not honored and of course wasted days awaiting a technician, I have been blessed with two home visits. Unfortunately, the system is still down, as the replacement components are inadequate to send a signal from my alarm to the home base.
      2} I have an account manager. Haha. They have so much turnover you never know whom your dealing with. They were quick with re-upping on a 5 year service contract renewal. Sucker, I did.
      And then there's billing. Quick with getting a bill...to pay for exactly what? I have no service. 3 Plus full months.
      3) i was informed via a web search that this company is being sued by customers and state AGs.
      Good. They are not a standup company, by any means. Hopefully they will go bankrupt and disappear as a home security company. I will not be paying another bill until if and when I get service.
      4)In closing, DO NOT USE this company. I gave one star rating which is one star too many.

      I would have given no stars. Safe Home Security is the closest thing to a scam there is. Salesmen impersonates your present alarm company to get in door. Once you learn otherwise the salesman does bait and switch you into a contract that is higher than verbal rate. 25 calls and finally they hung up on me
