    I purchased a car from Prestige Auto Car in Dec 2022. The vehicle randomly broke down October 2024 on my way to work. Prior to the breakdown the car was had been serviced in 2023 by Prestige Auto due to the engine light being on. Supposedly, the issue was fixed but the car still broke down in October 2024. I’ve only had the vehicle for less than two years and had not been in any accidents.

    When the car was towed to the nearest auto shop. The vehicle had several mechanical issues that I wasn’t aware of at the time of purchase and probably should not have been sold by the dealership to begin with.

    When I purchased the car I had a warranty and purchased GAP insurance to cover the remaining balance of the vehicle if anything were to happen. GAP insurance would not cover the remaining balance which defeated the purpose of purchasing it. I tried calling Prestige Auto twice to see if the issue could be rectified and no one would get back to me. I left my number each time. I tried emailing and no one will reach out. Even if they could not have done anything about it, no one could reach out to me to explain why or if there is another solution. I can’t pay for a vehicle that is no longer in my possession and it’s not my fault that vehicle randomly broke down. If they are trying to fix the situation then why can’t someone explain where they are in the process to keep me updated.

    I purchased a vehicle from Prestige March 2024. A couple days after the purchase I brought the vehicle back due to the radio not working. I was told that they would order a new radio, and I should come back. After a few days I returned and was told that the radio had not been order because they "forgot". I waited almost two months before I finally got the radio fixed. Additionally, upon picking up the vehicle it was doing a weird shaking, which I notified them of. It has now been 9 months, and the issue has not been resolved and is getting progressively worse. The vehicle makes a loud racing sound while driving, when I hit the gas, the vehicle drives slowly and continues this way for miles, It stalls out and jerks while driving. I observed mold all throughout the vehicle and there are loose parts (handles, console, armrest). The sunroof also leaks when it rains, "which may be the cause of the mold".

    On around may 2023 I purchased a 2014 ****** ********** from prestige auto and four months into me having the car I started having problems. In October my car started doing a jerking feeling and my engine light had went off so I brought it to Tom, the man who repairs the car for prestige. he told me the light going off was just a sensor issue and turned the light off. I brought back my car every couple of weeks for a whole year complaining that something is wrong with my car. in my warranty it states they can only pay for the repairs on my car as long as I stayed with the business that sold me the car. I trusted prestige to check my car. my car had gotten very bad and in may 2024 I went to the them to run yet another diagnostic on my car and they told me it was nothing and that they don't know what is wrong with my car. I was with a friend and she told me to bring my car somewhere else to get it checked. when I brought my car to another place the diagnostic came back that my transmission was done. I then went back to prestige and showed them the results. tom told me to let the whole trasmission blow before he would do anything. I then went back to him again 2 weeks later crying because he was ignoring my calls and was denying to fix my car. he then had my car for a whole week and did nothing with it. he left it in the same spot for the whole week so I went and picked up my car. my warranty has also denied to pay the expenses on my transmission. I have full coverage. I got sold a lemon and I am a pregnant mother of 3 and I paid a lot of money for this car. I went in and put down 6,000 and am still paying my car. the man Ryan who sold me the car didn't even want to help me trade in a new car unless I had way more money. they sold me a defected car and I can't even drive my car. I am walking and taking a bus with my kids while I am still paying my car note and insurance. this is not fair. no one there wants to help me but they take my money.

    I purchased a car in May because my car was totaled in an accident. They promised me this car had a Brand New motor and a Brand New clutch when I bought the car 4000 miles after buying the car the clutch is going I’ve been trying to get in contact with the owner to see if they had any paperwork the owner basically told me to go away never step foot on his property again and now I am stuck with a $30,000 Paper Weight they took advantage of me

    Purchased 2022 ****** ****** * from this business at the end of March 2024. Since then, 3/4 tires have exploded nearly causing numerous accidents, the front left shock has disintegrated, paneling is missing, we had the car appraised at two different reputable dealers, and it is worth $12,000 less than what Prestige sold it for due to the fact that there were signs of body work done due to accidents that were not reported. When we went into the business to ask if we could return the car for our money back, they refused saying they had no knowledge of any of the damage to the car and turned us away and told us to take legal action if we wanted.

    Purchased vehicle from dealership in February. On the drive home, I noticed my sunroof didn’t work. I called the dealership on the way home and was told it would be no problem to have fixed. Called and followed up and told the same thing. I have been following up and have returned to the dealership twice to have the sunroof fixed and have had no resolution. I’ve called repeatedly with no luck

    Hi there, 

     

    I filed a complaint against Prestige Auto last week, but on Friday I found out more information regarding my vehicle and would like to add to the complaint. 

     

    I took my car to another dealership where they ran vehicle report for me. Prior to being sold to me, the car was in 2 accidents (one of which is classified as severe and structural). I had no knowledge of this information and would never have purchased the car if I had known. I’m worried for my safety now, as well as the car having no value in it at all. 

     

    I can provide the reports and more information, I’m available during the day at any time.

    I went down mid September to see if I can trade in my car and get a new one. I was told I was approved but because I had a negative equity of 17,000 on the car I already had my payments were going to be high almost 900 dollars. I was told once my old car was payed off it would help my credit and I could apply to refinance and get my payment lowered after a year. It’s now December and they only sent 1600 to the back for my old car versus the 17000 to pay it off yet they told me it was payed off. When I asked for verification on that I got the run around and now no one seems to answer the phone and if they I’m put on hold or sent to voicemail. I’m still receiving calls for my old car and now stuck in an 900 dollars payment and my credit is getting bad.

    For a few months now, I have been see advertisements for a used car dealership that promises to get consumers approved no matter the credit, I contacted a fella named Brian T******, who is the person that I've been seeing do all the advertisements, we spoke I gave him my information, he told me he would be in contact with me and never got back, he has all my information including social security numbers, and address, I have tried contacting him and I've been unsuccessful ,

    I purchased a 2014 ****** ******** on
    December 13. I asked about a red flag that showed up on ****** about an emission problem and was assured that it was corrected. Before I was able to register the truck the "check engine " light came o. my mechanic ran a test which diagnosed the problem as a bad catalytic converte. After repeated calls to Ryan and message for Ken I still haven't heard back. I cannot recommend this business!!! My next recourse will be to contact the Department of Consumer Protection

    On August 5, 2022 I purchased a 2016 ********* ******** ** from Prestige Auto Dealership. During the purchasing process the dealership agreed to replace the original manufactured radio due to the fact that it currently did not work. The dealership made over four different attempts to fix the radio but failed to do so. In their last attempt to fix the radio they installed an aftermarket radio instead of the original manufacturer radio this new radio still doesn’t work. I was told over and over again by the dealership that there was parts missing from the radio. After reaching out to the dealership a fifth time I decided to file a claim with the ***. The dealership still hasn’t fixed the radio nor has the dealership contacted me. I also have made over three attempts to get the original signed contract agreement with dealership that they continue to not provide for over 3 months and counting. After making my final attempt to have the dealership replace the radio and provide the sign documents I have now decide that filing a complaint with BBB to get assistance in getting this issue resolved.
