      Bought a riding mower under their Craftsman brand from ******* Mower belt snapped after one ride and the whole thing broke down after cutting the grass three times.
      Craftsman directed us to a number of local businesses that were supposedly certified to do warranty repairs, only to learn most of them no longer do so, and the one place that still does (allegedly) wanted to charge $100 just to come out and fetch it.
      Stuck with a 400+ pound lawn ornament.

      I would say Stanley black and decker is a big disappointment because the customer service is horrible now ive been a customer with black and decker since the early 90's so much for that. I call the customer service line and everybody is working from home and I'm hearing animals, children & even babies I didn't know that was part of your job description WOW!!!!

      I purchased a Compact Dryer (3.5 cu) on 7/7/2024. It arrived on the 9th, used it only two days before it completely stopped working. I checked all the troubleshooting tips and realized I was sold a defective dryer. I contacted customer service to claim the warranty and have only gotten the runarounds. No communication besides an email asking me to send proof of purchase. After sending, I've haven't heard anything or been able to get in contact with anyone. I spent nearly $400 dollars for nothing. Save your money. You would think that Black and Decker values its customers with such steep prices...think again and spend your money elsewhere.

      I bought a Troy Bilt string trimmer owned by this company in June, it ran for 2 months and blew an engine, they said it was not covered because it had grass in the trimmer head that got stuck and blew the engine. It was a string trimmer! I had used it for about 10 minutes on normal grass and was running good and just quit! I don’t know what I could have done different. They basically said too bad so sad. I feel they will come up with any excuse. Anyway, stay away from their products as they don’t honor their warranty and furthermore, they could care less.

      Very poor customer service and even worse for expediting shipping. Ordered riding mower bagger kit and takes 20 days to get delivery. Very poor customer care.

      They sell garbage tools and take forever to send warranty replacement and not the same tool as purchased.

      I am giving NEGATIVE STARS HERE!!! They are knowingly selling non working products and refusing to refund them.
      I purchased a standing air conditioner unit last year. They fail with in a week of use. I am now receiving my 3rd unit from them. They will only replace them. Not refund them. They will be surpassing the NYS lemon law at this point. Customer service admitted they do not look to fix these units and just recycle them upon arrival. And received condition does not matter. These are BRAND NEW UNITS!!! Customer service also refuses to give me info or supervisor info to complain. Telling me they are the ONLY ONES TO SPEAK ON COMPANIES BEHALF! I am appalled of this from such a well known company. They are a money scamming disgrace and I want my $500.00 refund! This is life threatening for me as I have a medical issued need for this ac and can cause death over it not working! And can't afford another without this refund! Plus I won't receive the new unit till fall so it won't help me now at 100° weather!
      They are not a company any longer as they are just a front for trash!

      Ever since they bought ****** they sell absolute junk.I had 3 18 volt batteries go bad in 6 months and dewalt did nothing which is now black and decker.****** ABSOLUTELY STAY AWAY FROM THERE TOOLS ARE JUNK AND THEY WILL NOT TAKE CARE OF IT.!!!!

      I bought a toaster oven rotisserie that stopped working after 7 months. Black +decker referred me to a third party “ appliance division “ who asked for a check of money order for shipping ( so it couldn’t be disputed?) I was told I would have a replacement in 7-14 business days. One month later, no replacement and both companies have stopped responding
