      I am very pleased with the service from Sure Lock and Key in New Haven. I had lost my only car key. Within the day, Rob came to where I was volunteering and made a key, Within a week he had a key made with all the internal abilities. This is the second time I have. used them and would highly recommend them.

      Was quoted $100 but charged $580 for the guy to hammer off the dead bolt on my door. Would give 0 stars if I could. This company is a complete scam.

      Technician blatantly lied to us, performing actions we did not ask him to do after telling us that it would cost $100, only for him to destroy our mailbox, replace the lock, and then charge us $250 for the whole thing. Have spent days trying to get a partial refund, which they agreed to, yet have been unable to actually receive it due to negligence on the managerial end. Absolutely do not use this service.

      Awful experience with Sure Local and boy did I dodge a bullet.... "Tom" showed up and wanted to drill out an expensive Kwikset lock the replace the lock for 400.00! The call center quoted me 29.99 trip charge and would quote the job after they saw what needed to be done and he said the call visit was 89.00! My first red flag! I reached out to another provider local (not a call center scam phone number like these people) and the locksmith asked what company he was with, he lied and said ***, then he said to show my his locksmith license which he refused to do and then told me to run fast from this scam artist there was no reason to destroy the lock with a drill. The new locksmith came over promptly replaced my lock by insetting a pinhole camera, made a new key and had me in my house in under 15 minutes all for 125.00!!! YAY ME! Don't trust these clowns they sub out all their work and clearly do not vet out the providers so you can get any idiot showing up in their 12 year old car with no hub caps.

      In our system we doesn't have such high prices because the customer just paid for the service call. We have recordings of all calls and messages.

      She was really awful. Said she would not be late but were 45 minutes late while our groceries melted. Would not answer the phone when I called to find out what happened. We got locked out of house with key breaking off in lock. Took out a tool and messed around, but of course even I knew it needed to be drilled out. then said it would be extra to drill it out. Was there about 20 minutes. Charged $369, just to unlock the door. Then when I said I had to go inside and sent down to pay her, it got scary. She said she had to be paid right now and could not go inside to sit down which seemed threatening. I told her I would go inside, or she would not get her money. Do not use these people. We called someone else to replace the lock and they were wonderful.

      Sure Lock and Key charged me $430 after I was quoted $250
      They knew the make model and what kind of key before coming out. It’s been a month, they were cooperation at first until I called and explain how I was stuck at the gas station for 15 mins (couldn’t start the car) and late for work (car wouldn’t unlock). 1 month of unlocking and locking, pressing the panic button for 5 mins to get in and then waiting and repeating the steps to start the car. The first Supervisor was helpful and told me that he would help me. However, Ms. M**** (wouldn’t provide her customer Id number) brushed me off this morning. I’m afraid to travel any where far because I don’t know if I’ll get stuck. I’ve been taking Ubers on the days The car doesn’t unlock. This is very frustrating. I want a refund!

      Horrible service and rude technician. The technician is an arrogant fool who doesn’t know what he’s doing. We hired these people to change 3 doorknobs and the technician told us he could do it. We were having a problem specifically with the strike plates for the doors. He put in the doorknobs and did not put in the strike plates for 2 doors (one worked without him doing anything) and charged us more than $300! He said just use the doors without the strike plates. Who does that?! I have emailed them multiple times and called the technician again for a refund, but they have done nothing about this. They did not do the job they were hired for. To me, their whole company seems like an elaborate scam. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE.

      Total rip off. After hours call they charged 600 when quoted 115 for after hours call
