      In early August we paid Red Star Restoration nearly $1500 to fix a mold issue we had in our master bedroom. They failed to communicate well through most of the process, they didn't show up when they said they would to give us a quote. They ultimately gave us a quote from photos of the issue. Then they came, cut the hole in the ceiling and did the mold remediation. They told us they would either repair the hole themselves or get us in contact with a contractor who could do so. After they finished the remediation and took their equipment we paid and we never heard from them again. They never responded to our requests about repairing the hole, and we had to hire a different contractor. Then when he came to repair the hole, he found more mold in the same place the initial company was supposed to have cleared the mold. So basically we paid $1500 for them to rip a hole in our ceiling. We already have contacted another company to redo the job, and are looking for a refund.

      Good afternoon this customer is a fraud. They contacted us to have a mold remediation project completed, we crafted an estimate based off of pictures provided by the customer. We built an estimate based off of the photos provided. We had an approved work scope and we worked within the confines of that approved work scope. We completed all work that was in our approved work scope and we're paid for this project the customer then committed fraud by telling their bank that we defrauded them and their Bank took the funds from the project. We have currently contacted the police department in their town and are seeking damages. We are pressing for theft of services at this point. Our work scope was adhered to that was approved by them. There was more work to be done but there was nothing else approved to be done. As explained to them often times when you open up an area that's covered in mold you can find more mold inside like inside a wall cavity. We followed every protocol and procedure that is industry standard and the job was completed satisfactory which is why we were paid. We have photos of the work being performed and communication between the customer and ourselves during our time working on this project.
