    I’m just getting a bill now ( it’s 3/17/24) my ambulance ride was back last year in August. They have had this entire time to reach out to my insurance carrier or myself to verify the ins information and never have . Now I get a bill for total invoice due !
    Absolutely not . This is why I carry ins coverage.

    Jessica. Thank you for reaching out regarding your bill for the Town of Tolland Fire Department. I appreciate your concern about the time it took to receive your invoice. At the time of your incident, the First Responders could not collect your signature to approve the billing process. They were able to collect your insurance information from the hospital, but Federal Standards prohibit the billing company from submitting the claim to the insurance company without that signature. We attempted to collect your signature multiple times over the course of the last six months, with mailings on 9/13/2023, 11/15/2023, and 2/5/2024. When these attempts were unsuccessful, an invoice was finally generated on 3/7/2024. I am sending you another signature request to be completed. If you can return the signed document to our office or provide an electronic signature from our website, www.certambgroup.com, we can process your claim through your insurance company.
