      I purchased a new home on Dec 13, 2024, and the sellers real estate company refuses to take the for sale sign down and off my property. I would like the sign removed immediately.

      This closed Friday. We contacted our sign company to remove the sign on Monday. They should be there today. No one has refused to take the sign down.

      Real estate agency/agent advertised a condominium common area pool as being heated. It is not heated; the archaic system that is installed for heating has no effect on water temperature whatsoever that any reasonable person can detect.

      I relied on this incorrect/fraudulent information as the one thing that led me making an offer on and ultimately purchasing a unit. Had I known the truth, I would have looked for other properties.

      Due to the entire transaction taking place in the middle of winter, it was impossible to inspect or examine the alleged pool heating system.

      Worse, the real estate agent is the manager of this condo association. This is an inherent conflict of interest that needs to stop.

      As we have already explained to the Complainant, the pool is heated and the heater is working. It's just not heated to the temperature the Complainant desires. It's typically heated to about 80 degrees.

      I am rejecting this response because:  Agency response is simply incorrect.  Agency and agent are in violation of CT Senate Bill No. 700 Public Act No. 21-41, attached.  This non-disclosure is illegal and unacceptable.  Pool has never reached 80 degrees all summer and is typically far less.  Unusable in August.  So-called heating system is a sad joke and completely ineffective.  I know this pool, from having lived in this complex before and it's even colder now than it was without any kind of heating system. 

      This was a deliberate deception that I relied upon in deciding to make an offer on this condominium unit.  Direct verification was impossible due the entire transaction having taken place during the middle of winter.  Had I known the truth, I would have never purchased the property.

      Agent is also the manager of the condominium complex, an obvious conflict of interest showing poor business judgment and ethics.  I intend to pursue all legal avenues to be made whole.

      I was lied to and taken advantage of during the darkest hours of my life. Lori V**** out of the ************ ** office lied to us about her commission rate .My mother had just passed away and we wanted to sell 2 houses and buy 2 houses . She told us 3% . She came the next day for me to sign the contract. She did not tell me she had changed it to 6%. I trusted her and signed the contract.. I was on heavy medication and had not slept in days . I trusted her!!leas than 24 hours later I found out after talking to her on the phone it was changed to 6% . I told her that’s not what she said , she laughed at me. I texted and emailed and told her I would not work with an agent who lied and was a predator . She wouldn’t cancel the contract , a contract she didn’t even sign!! After 2 days of me asking .. her manager Kevin called me , very rude , abrasive and mocking .. he even told me I was not in the right mental space to talk .. fast forward 3 weeks , no communication with anyone from corporate , after countless emails and phone calls . I want this canceled . Corporate doesn’t care! Every email has basically gone unanswered! Their contract is null and void and they won’t send me a formal email stating that . It’s been 3 weeks almost and nothing but more mental duress and stress. They are takibg full advantage of my situation. I told them if they wouldn’t cancel the contract .. to please list it for the price I feel it is worth and was way under priced by Lori V**** , once again in breech of contract . They think they can bulky and intimidate me .No responses to dozens of emails and calls to the corporate offices and employees . All is documented .

      I am rejecting this response because:
        First off the contract was not signed in my presence nor when sent to me . A contract is not a valid contract with out both signatures . I was lied to , taken advantage of and this company doesn’t believe me?? Why would I ever work with a company that there is no trust , no communication and no help from!!  They took advantage of , are savage predators and won’t take responsibility for anything ! They are trying to bully and manipulate me. Thier agent should be fired for what she did … they suffered a very similiar sudden loss .. how would they feel being taken advantage of during their darkest hours .. i was also told I could change the pirce on the listing . There are no rules about keeeping a price on a contract ! Prices get changed all the time . I was told I had until “Tuesday” they day of supposed pictures to change the price !! See attachment ..
