2/10/2024,we put our 300.00 down payment on a 2023****** RV. Within 1 week we put 10,000 down and arranged for pick up. when we went to pick up camper the self leveling was not working and the camper was not clean. We took it to our home and realized no heat, returned to dealer who kept it for a couple of weeks. We again took it home and the computer control panel was not working. Brought it back to Pete's and they still have it, We are making payments on a camper we do not have and as yet have not used. Please help if you can.

To Whom it may concern, This Letter is written in concern to the service I
received from Pete’s RV in ** ******* **. In September of 2022, I dropped my
camper off for repairs to your service Dept. Damage happened on the road in ** ****** a month earlier and was covered under my insurance. Damage: Side Skirt
Stab Jack switch Underbelly Fabric protection Damage to floor inside , from
underneath Damage to Brakes on Camper And a RECALL on the Gas Valve After
Pete’s RV assessment of the damage it totaled: $4,548.90 in damage. The Camper
sat FOR A YEAR, forgotten about on one of there other lots. Multiple attempts
to reach the Service Manager at that time VIA E-Mails and calls to the service
dept were not replied to or taken, Basically told the Service Manager would
call me back but never did, this was done repeatedly. Finally after 9 months of
waiting I confronted the Service Dept in person, they didn’t even know where my
camper was or anything about it. I was assured they would be right on it and
The New Service Manager gave me his Personal Number which I was thankful for, 4
months later after very little responses to my texts and calls (now they have
had my Camper for a year) I informed them I was picking my camper up the next
day. When I arrived to pick up the camper and go over what was done per/THEIR
WORK ORDER, all that was done was the skirt. They had to change the Valve while
I waited, and when they put the plastic cover over the tanks, they didn’t even
fasten it down , if I hadn’t noticed in my final check before I hit the road, I
would have lost that cover on the highway. Service Manager told me Brakes were
all set and working good, all they did was reconnect the 2 wires I had to cut
because the Brake was locking up during travel. I got half way home and Brakes
Locked up again, because they never inspected the brakes and it damaged my
tire, I had to jack it up on the road, free up the locked tire, and cut the
Electric Brakes again to get my camper home. And they charged me $233.00
dollars for that. After One Year, I am basically back to square one and will do
the repairs myself, not to mention the condition I received my camper in when I
picked it up This Letter will be submitted to: ******** ******* Better Business

Per the details from this complaint, our management team has made attempts to contact the customer via phone and email, but are not getting a response.  In order for us to further investigate the said issues, we need them to call or email us directly. Per our process in these situations, we work directly with our customers, and not through the facilitation of the BBB portal. Thanks.

I have not heard back from Petes RV. i heard from the owner and told him i would accept their calls, but unfortunately i will not allow them to touch my camper, they have been dishonest with me since the beginning.

If BBB is unable to do anything, i will be sure to hand out flyers at Every Camping Show as well as continue to post my letter of complaint on all their social media posts.

We purchased a 2022 ***** ***** ** ******* on 5/5/2022 in the amount of $70,658.31. On 7/26/2022 we experienced our first safety issue. The awning fell off the trailer. Pete's finally picked up the camper on 9/28/22 and has had it ever since. We gave them a long list of warranty repairs that needed to be made. The dealer finally called us to pick up the trailer. On 2/8/23, I showed up to inspect the trailer to make sure that all the repairs were completed. After waiting there for them to bring it to me, they pull up and the trailer had been side swiped/in an accident. There was damage to the outside of the trailer that we didn't drop it off with. Putting this aside for the moment, I decided to walk through the repairs that were supposed to have been made. The first is the tablet that puts the bump outs out so you can walk in. When we checked, the pad was completely dead. Again, not how we dropped it off. Due to this the only repairs that I could look at were in the bathroom, where I found our personal belongings on the floor broken. (i.e. ******* ***, etc.)

We would like to collect our belongings and be refunded in full. Pete's has been non-responsive and will leave us on hold until we hang up. We filed a dispute resolution with ***** however it was denied because this is a dealership issue and not a manufacture issue.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: I was not notified of an in person meeting. As stated before, I am no longer interested in dealing with this camper’s warranty issues or with this dealer at all. I am requesting to have them keep the camper and issue a full refund. I feel that we will continue to have issues moving forward if I keep the camper.

    Sincerely,
