Ordered our flight tickets through Kayak. ******** is in some way affiliated with Kayak and ******** was the point of contact for customer service for the tickets. ******** was unable to deliver. After ordering 6 months in advance of a big family trip abroad through kayak, a flight was cancelled a few weeks before. That can be expected and was originated by the airline. However, it was the rescheduling that became impossible. ******** needed to reschedule a new flight with the airline which we immediately confirmed as acceptable (airline would only work with ********, not the passenger since it was purchased through them) and after hours of phone calls ******** indicated they would and then had. But in the end, after a few weeks and less than one week before our family trip, it was still unconfirmed by the airlines ....and so we cancelled and ordered new tickets through ** ****. The worst part was that I am fairly certain our big family trip abroad would have not happened if we didn't cancel ******** and order new tickets through a different company. I wish they simply said they couldn't do it so we could have planned accordingly instead of stringing us along. In total, probably about 12 to 15 hours on the phone to ********, airlines, 12 pages of notes to try to figure it all out and $3000 more than the original (******** did refund the original amount after disputed with credit card company) price because we were forced to order through a different online travel company only a few days before the actual trip.Kayak.com

Don't ever do business with Kayak, an absolute sham of a company. My girlfriend and I booked a $4000 roundtrip vacation to Norway through Kayak. The initial flights there went smoothly but our return trip was another story. Our second return flight landed us in ********, with a short layover before heading back to ******* in the US. Upon landing in ******** we could not find our flight to *******, it simply was not on any of the departure lists. After talking to several airline workers and calling the airline companies themselves, they deduced that the flight had been cancelled several weeks or months ago, yet we had never been informed. The airlines were unable to help us further since this flight had been booked through Kayak. Contacting Kayak was nearly impossible and through the website eventually brought us to a company called ******** who, unbeknownst to us, operates as the middle man for Kayak. Unable to speak to anyone on the phone we were then directed to a chatbot where we tried multiple times to explain our situation without any luck. We were told we would be contacted by a representative of ******** but this has not yet happened. We were essentially stranded without a flight home and so were forced to purchase new tickets home the next day totaling over $3000, not to mention a hotel room and food for the night. Our only hope is to recoup some of the costs through our flight insurance but that looks unlikely. All in all we will have lost over $4000 because of this shameful company. We will be pursuing legal action against Kayak and ******** and hope to contact others who have been taken advantage of in a similar manner.Kayak.com

They cancelled my car reservation… I am on the way to my sisters wedding in ******** This is not how you treat people! No help, not even a „we are sorry“ WORST site eve! Look elsewhere. Do not use them.Kayak.com

1 starmade mistake booked with Chatdeal Kayak on kayak. com, I thougt it was booked from Kayak, They just used kayak as part of their name to scam, later we fond from reviews, we just one of the many vitamins.

flight with them and on my way to my destination I missed my connection flight (airline's fault) and got put on another flight one day later. It was a family trip to see my family which I haven't seen in 4 years. I contacted both Kayak and Chatdeal asking if it would be possible for me to change my return flight to one or two days later just so I could make up for the day I've missed with my family. It is extremely hard to find a customer service phone number to reach out to them, I found an email address that never got back to me and eventually, after spending a quite fair amount of money trying a random phone numbers I've found online that led to nowhere (mind you I was overseas at the time) I finally got ahold of a representative via the live chat on chatdeal's website. The representative - Jenny - told me someone would be in touch shortly with an update about my request. My initial request was made one week before my return flight's date. Three days later I go back to the live chat to speak with a different representative about any updates, advised them it was a time sensitive request since my return flight was going to be one week later and the person told me someone would contact me via email within 12-24 hours. No one contacted me, so I tried the live chat a third time only to be told the same thing (someone will be in touch). My return flight date came and I'm back at my place of residence now, my request was never followed up and I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service this company has. I will never book anything through chatdeal again!Kayak.com

Kayak is in the business of not processing your refunds, even when service is cancelled by the provider. They would like to claim the service was sold as non-refundable, and eat the refund received from the service provider.Kayak.com

I used Kayak to book flights abroad and was immediately directed to ******** where I had a horrible experience. I booked my flights in March, six months before the trip. In those six months, my flights were changed numerous times, stating that they had to be changed when in fact my original flights were still very much scheduled to take off. Despite this, I made the 'necessary' changes to my flights and received a confirmation. The day prior to my trip, I called the airlines to assure I was on my flights, but was told that myself and the other passenger I was paying for, were not rebooked onto one of the returning flights. I then had to pay an additional $600.00 to get on that flight. The following day, we got to the airport three hours before our boarding time, and we had trouble checking in. ***** informed us that they could not print our tickets due to our tickets not being confirmed by ********. I made a total of 23 phone calls to *****, *****, and ******** but got no results. When I spoke on the phone with ********, they were very abrasive. Rather than trying to fix the problem, they just said "how ridiculous" it was that ***** didn't have my flight. It was very much a deflection from the fact that ******** had messed up. We worked so hard to find a way to get on our flight, but had to miss it and pay $400.00 to stay in the airport hotel. Eventually I was able to work with a ***** agent over the phone after eight hours of trying to find a solution. The ***** agent felt absolutely terrible for what I had to go through and was kind enough to reclaim the tickets from ******** and book all of our flight again through ***** directly. Needless to say it was the most stressful and frustrating flying experience I have ever had and I hope no one else has to go through that trouble.Kayak.com

They let companies advertise rates that are constantly not available. Somebody from **** ***** called me to tell me the rate I booked wasn't available and tried to upsell me. This happened on multiple occasions when looking for Business class. The only thing that was actually bookable was clicking through to the airline's website. I understand fares can change but it seems like the companies they present as bookable are just going to call and change the fare.Kayak.com
