    Kayak is a fraudulent company and they assist other fraudulent companies to obtain personal information that will be misused. I booked multiple flights and paid for flexibility to change dates, kayak has made my booking unavailable to view. Shortly after I realized I had many fraudulent charges to ******* ****** ****** ******* *** ******** totaling hundreds of dollars in attempted fraudulent charges all showing up within hours of trying to purchase tickets from kayak.

    I would give kayak zero stars if i could. I spent a LOT of money reserving a room at their property in ****** The room was almost inhabitable. Black mold in the shower stall, brown stains on upholstered seat and cushions (fecal matter?). no clean towels or linens for 6 days, no working tv for 7 days, a response from the local fire department because of rainwater pouring from the ceiling light fixtures in the pool area, an abutting fenced in vacant lot containing a large mound of trash and discarded furniture, and three homeless people "living" on the sidewalk directly across the street from the front door. The room smelled horrible, forcing me to leave the window open all week even though it has no insect screen. Oh, and did i mention the broken ceramic floor tile in my room or the peeling ceiling paint there? I've tried every means at my disposal to contact someone at the company, but have found impossible to do so.

    I purchased a round-trip flight, and while the flight to my destination went well, the flight back was canceled, but I have never been informed about it. The only time I was informed about that change was at the airport when my name was not on the flight list. The airline agent at the airport found my name on a flight two days after with a different airline.
    This change is dramatic in itself, but not being informed made it devastating.
    Kayak has not taken any responsibility for not informing me about the change, and still, my order number shows the dated wrong booking information.
    Needless to say, I will never book any travel with Kayak and strongly recommend avoiding their service.

    I purchased business class ticket, they didnt confirm it for 2 days and then asked me $4000 more for the same tickets, when I denied paying extra then they offered me different flight with 2 different airlines with long halt, extremely poor service.
    They chatdeal is another pain, avoid using Kayak at any cost ..

    Bought a ticket and added the "Cancelation no reason" service, which, theorically will refund me the ticket fare if something happens and I'm unable to make it. Well, I had an unexpected family situation and I had to cancel the trip, but never got my money back. NEVER. I've called them multiple times and they always said they will issue a refund and now it's almost 5 months and I still haven't received anything. Customer service is terrible. 2 hours waiting to speak to someone, which is outrageous. Tried to cancel the purchase with ***** but Chat deal called me saying they only will send a refund if I cancel the dispute, and even after cancelling the dispute they will issue a refund. Never happened. Don't use their services. Buy from the airline, otherwise will be in the same situation in case you need to change or cancel your flight.

    I was very happy with ********* Filipe was great.
    I booked a trip to France through Kyak and did not realize that the trip was being booked through ********. The night before the trip I could not check in, because ******* *** had canceled our connecting flight to *********** It was too late to contact the airline and when I looked at the ******** reviews I panicked. Needless to say, I did not sleep well. I called ******* *** the next morning and was told that we were moved to a later flight to ********** and we would have to check in at the airport.
    When we checked in I was told that our return flight from ***** ** ****** had been canceled. I used our layover at ******** to contact ********. I was transferred to Filipe who rebooked us on a return flight. He also called me two days before the return flight to make sure that I had downloaded my new tickets.
    Traveling is not easy with all of the cancellations, but I have to say that ******** and Fillipe actually made a bad experience better for us.

    Used to be ok, but now partnering with ********* who does a bait and switch on prices. They offer you a lower price, and then say it's no longer available after you've entered in all your phone/address/credit card. And then when you reject the higher price they spam you. They need to drop this partner ASAP.

    I bought a ticket to ****** through Kayak, I had 48 hours delay to get back home.( cancellations/ delay, always their fault)
    They’re not taking any responsibility and sending me to the airline and air line sending me to the online agent(Kayak/Chatdeal). I got sick/ I paid out of pocket for 2 days delay and my work was badly affected!!

    ChatDeal customer service is absolutely terrible and willing to consistently lie to you in hopes of you giving up on your complaint. I bought tickets through Kayak via ChatDeal for a *** *rip in 2021, but was unable to go on the flight due to covid restriction tightening at that time. I had bought flight insurance via Allianz who slow rolled my request for a refund and wasted my time and money. I contacted the airline, but due to booking through Kayak I was unable to go through them. I talked with ChatDeal and they told me I would be able to use my tickets for a flight within a year from when I bought them. This was a day before my original flight was supposed to take off, so I asked if I could wait until I had a better understanding of my schedule the following year. I was informed I could and waited until September 2022 to reschedule my flights. After finding out about more requirements to still use my tickets I agreed to a new set of tickets to use in October 2022. Two days later I was called by ChatDeal and told that my request had been rejected by ticketing and that I had to rebook my *** flights 24 hours prior to my original departure. I was furious after being lied to for a year so ChatDeal scheduled me to talk with a supervisor two days later. I was never contacted by the supervisor so I flied a complaint with ChatDeal online. The supervisor sent me an email, which I responded to over a week ago and have yet to receive a response. The supervisor called me when I was busy and agreed to talk to me later which never happened. I have called ChatDeal several times and each time they tell me the supervisor will give me a call back, but I have not got a call back. This customer service is absolutely abysmal and the experience feels like a war of attrition of hoping I will give up on my complaint. Kayak is fine for finding and comparing flights, but never book through them and ChatDeal. Airlines are at least willing to help you and not consistently lie to your face.

    Kayak's standard response is useless. I have already complained to both Kayak and ******** and neither were helpful in resolving my issue of being lied to and having to repurchase new tickets.
