I purchased a dishwasher to be delivered and installed through ******. Originally scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday April 25. According to ******, I was to receive a two hour window communication for the Tuesday delivery. I received nothing. Delivery guys show up at 11 asking me where the dishwasher was. I informed them that they were supposed to deliver and install. I showed them the communication I received from ****** showing it was waiting to be picked up in the next town over, ****** *****. The delivery guy said ok, we will go get it and be right back. Never returned. Made calls to the delivery company. At first I could leave a message then I got mail box full messages for the phone number. Mail box was full until 6 PM Wednesday. That is when ****** finally said they were in contact with APlus and my delivery and installed was “ guaranteed and confirmed” with APlus. The email also stated I would receive a message giving me a delivery window. No message, no delivery. This is a horrible business. No customer service, Total lack of communication. If they had contacted me in anyway, I would have made my home available for any appointments. Currently I am working with ******. My next contact will be with the ************ ******** ******* regarding APlus business practices.

I had an energy audit completed through ************ "Energize **" program. A Plus Installation performed the initial audit and recommended attic insulation. They completed the applicable forms in the Energize ** rebate booklet, but the technician who performed the audit did not sign one of the pages.

I ultimately decided to pursue the attic insulation project, but using another vendor. The reason is that the initial audit work performed by A Plus Installation was sloppy and unprofessional.

The attic insulation work was performed by the alternate vendor and is now complete, but in order to qualify for the rebate, I need the original Energize ** form from the original audit to be signed, as well as another form from the vendor who performed the work. Both me and the vendor who completed the work attempted to reach out to A Plus Installation through all possible channels including phone, email, and USPS. However, A Plus Installation has been unresponsive.

The way I see it, this contractor participates in the Energize CT program and should be following the rules of the program, performing the work in a workmanlike manner, and properly completing all paperwork in accordance with the program. Instead, my rebate is effectively being held hostage by a signature that A Plus Installation is apparently unwilling to provide.
