When I purchased my vehicle from this place, they did not disclosed about a service contract on my vehicle and did not disclosed the APR. They told me they took off 10k, but instead I received over 10k of charges and interested. After paying off the vehicle I received noticed I had a warranty reimbursement not only was I ****** *** about the warranty to begin with, they refuse to give me back my money even after speaking with the store manager and sales manager, advising they need to submit it to the finance company, whereas the finance company told me it needs to be issued by the dealership. Since visiting this summer I have been calling, emailing and still nothing. I just want my money back! I paid for the car 3x over, only thing I'm asking for is for my warranty money back to me.

In March of 2024 I purchased a vehicle from George Harte Nissan in **** *****. I had the $20,000 in cash to purchase the vehicle but they convinced me to get a loan and keep it for a year to help with my credit. That seemed like a good idea at the time. While signing all of the paperwork they hid a $5,000 warranty that was never verbally discussed and I was never actually shown the full amount I was borrowing. I left there thinking I took out a $12,000 loan but in reality it was $17,000. The next day I was checking through all of the paperwork and noticed what happened. I went in the next day and had them take off the $5,000 warranty. They said they would send that $5,000 to the loan servicer and it would decrease my loan. 7 months later they have not done that resulting in me accruing interest on the loan. I have called and inquired several times and always get the same answer of, "oh no, we will do it now. We are so sorry. It will be off your account by Monday." Many Mondays have passed and I am still accruing interest on $5,000 I didn't know I was agreeing to. They have also stated they would pay the 7 months of accrued interest on that $5,000 and have obviously not done that either. While the first complaint is them using shady business tactics to get me to take out a larger loan the second is them not rectifying the situation months and months later. I can only imagine how many people they have done this too. I find this predatory as people with poor credit go here for a loan and are tricked into a bad deal which only worsens their situation.

Mr. ******** inquired with George Harte Nissan about a
vehicle located at our sister store in ********.  We requested a credit
application be filled out prior to securing the vehicle.  When we
contacted our sister store, they let us know that the vehicle he inquired about
was no longer available.  We immediately let the customer know and
provided additional options which he declined.  We never asked for a
deposit of any kind and the vehicle he inquired on was never actually on our
      lot.

We are happy to continue working with Mr. ******** to find a
vehicle that suits his wants and needs should he wish to pursue a
      purchase.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

When i called back, Stan the original sales representative that i spoke to would not come to the phone. I then asked to speak to a manger. Once i was on the phone with the manager and he confirmed i was **** ******** he denied helping me find a car due to me contacting “The better business bureau”. He stated and i quote “you filed with the better business bureau, have fun finding a truck” (then proceeded to hang up). The response George Harte Nissan sent is a lie they treated me worse once i reported them. This car buying experience has made me feel less of a human and powerless. I gave them the upmost respect and asked questions over and over and all they did was lie to me to try and just get my money.

      Sincerely,

I purchased a vehicle from George Harte Nissan on 7/9/21, which included a full extended warranty. I am trading the car in and reached out to cancel said warranty for a refund on the remaining amount. After not hearing back from Finance, I reach out to the GM who originally asked for trade-in paperwork from the new dealer. I told him I was under the impression that I can cancel a warranty at any time without reason, which he confirmed. Finally, Ken in Finance called and left a VM asking again for a slew of paperwork and stating he would send a paper for me to sign to cancel, which he never did, even after I reiterated that Rob (GM) confirmed it's not needed. It is my understanding I only need to fill out a paper requesting to cancel and provide the mileage to cancel at any time. At this point, it's been over a week and I'm unable to get anywhere with the dealership. I'd like someone to provide the paper needed to process the refund and for the remaining balance of the warranty to be provided as soon as possible. Whether or not the car is being traded in is irrelevant at this point and I'd like this taken care of.

      Business Response

      Date: 09/27/2022

In order to process the warranty cancellation, we need to know the current mileage on the vehicle.  An odometer statement, if the car was traded in, is ideal.  If this is not available, sending an email with the current mileage and a request to cancel is also okay.

Our GM, Rob M****, has reached out to Mr. ********* to obtain this information.  Once we have the exact mileage, we are happy to process the cancellation.

      Thank you,
