    Free 2 move uses very deceptive marketing practices. They coin themselves as a car sharing app that allows you to park anywhere. However, there are actually many exceptions to this that they deceptively bury in the fine print of their app. For example when you go to park you get an on screen prompt that mentions red zones and other types of areas where you cannot park, but it does not highlight a very important caveat for DC that states "Where parking is banned on certain days or at certain times, the vehicle hire can only be parked if the restriction does not come into force for at least (48) hours. Similarly, the same rule shall apply to parking bans that have already been imposed, but which are not in force yet." Most streets in DC have these rules and for those of us who use ride sharing apps we don't drive often. The app should make this very important exception more present and known to users. This is very deceptive marketing and they could easily add a prompt or more red zones to the app to prevent customers from unknowingly parking where they are not supposed to then getting hit with absurd $25 administrative fees on top of the tickets. The app should not let you park in these areas and the company is not helpful in resolving these cases. I now have over $400 in charges that I could have and would have easily avoided if the company and the app was more transparent.
