I certainly do not understand the negative reviews. Today, I contacted ************** Retirement and used the callback option instead of holding on for a long period of time. According to the recording, I would be called back in 24 hours. I expected to receive a callback sometime tomorrow since my phone to the agency was around 6:15 p.m. I was called back within 15 minutes of my callback request. The representative was courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. What else could one expect.

Same poor customer service as the complaints indicated. They are terrible with customer service. You get a lot of "I don't know...the back office does that, just passing the buck....frustrating when you're already dealing with the grief from a loved one who passed....

0 Stars! This company is totally incompetent. The website absolutely sucks, giving no confidence when trying to perform any transactions as it repeatedly throws cryptic errors in a single non readable line off text on a black background page. Then I get a mailed letter today reprimanding me for breaching some undeclared rule of changing my funds too many times in some unspecified time frame. So I called the 800 number on the letter, waited through at least 5 recorded menus of unhelpful info, only to be put on hold for about 20 minutes with no response, and the call ended itself, not allowing me to even take a post call survey! This is a total farce! Drop any relations with this inept company as soon as you can!

************** is just plain awful. It took me 7 weeks to get some of my 457b money. Every call met w different answers to the exact same questions. I'm in the process of trying to transfer it to another company.

Trying to access funds from your account is a nightmare. What should've been a "3-5 day process" turns into a 3 month issue. While all of the customer service **** are kind, they have given vastly different answers to the same exact question. All due to having a credit union instead of a big name bank. Incompetent staff and a reluctance to give out money.

When I retired two years ago I called for assistance and they walked me through how I wanted to access my accounts. They made me do it through the website though. I later learned that I was given inaccurate information and there was really no way to get it settled (probably not enough room here to lay out the issue but it involved disbursements). So at the end of the day bad information provided to me about how to use their severely inadequate website caused me to completely revamp my retirement plans and it will be another two years before I can get things set right. I would strongly suggest not even trying to work anything through with their employees. Hire a professional to deal with them and your retirement. They will do anything to hold onto your money, it will be impossible to contact any competent staff, their website won't allow many basic functions and what it does let you do is sometimes buried in confusing places. Best of luck if your retirement is in their hands.

I am about to transfer funds from mission square retirement to a different bank and do a direct roll over. Thanks to **** BUS COMPANY they did not inform me of their decision to transfer my 457 funds to mission square. I am now faced with the running around of having a form ' plan sponsor/ employer authorisation' to be filled out by **** BUS COMPANY. before mission square retirement can do a direct roll over to my bank. I am hoping things go smoothly.Concerned person of interest.

This company is completely unreliable and difficult to work with. Each time I call I am on the line with an incompetent representative that tells me one thing and the next representative tells me the complete opposite. This has been going on for three weeks. I can't see my statement or balance and can't get a straight answer. Unacceptable. Asking for an escalation manager does absolutely nothing! They say they will put in a request and call back and they never do. Worst company I have ever dealt with. No communication between departments at all. They can only send messages and hope to have someone get back to them with the information. They do not email, call or mail you information. If you want it you have to call every day for updates. Absolutely the most backwards and unreliable system and company. I would never recommend ************** and will now have to get legal representation to access MY money.

************** is an incompetent, archaic company. Do NOT invest your money with this company. As many other reviews state, customer service is hard to contact and unhelpful. I am going on 5 months trying to Rollover a 401K from ************** to Fidelty. They do not contact you through the secure messaging system. I have to wait weeks for a letter to tell me they still cannot process my paperwork or sit on hold forever.I am beyond furious at this point.

I am retired all most a year now and have been trying the entire time to roll my money from ************** to a different retirement account. They continually say they will email me the needed form which I've never received, nor have they sent it to my account portal, or mailed all as promised. I finally found a tutorial on their site that instructs how to have your funds sent, which I followed. The following day I receive a phone call from ***** with Mission Square telling me I am going to owe thousands in taxes for withdrawing my funds. I explained I've been trying to get help for months to move my money and she gave one excuse after another. She even asked how much money I had in my other retirement account, like I would consider moving back to **************. What a joke ************** is. They truly don't realize they're dealing with peoples heard earned lifesaving retirement funds. Not their money!!! It's ours to choose who we want to invest with and to remove when we choose, and not theirs to hold hostage!
