      The woman that answers the phone at Jeeves Handyman Clarksburg Address is not very patient nore respectrul and does not explain the exact info on pricing on your job. I called about having a shutter put up after a storm knocked it down. I asked how much it would cost and she said $150. I then remembered I had a light fixture on the ceiling of the kitchen that need to be made straight and she said it would be another $150. The person that installed the kitchen light fixture said they would straighten it free of charge so I agreed. When the 2 men came to put up the shutter I told them it was just the one shutter and they told me it would be $300. This is not what I was told over the phone. Then they said they would tighten up all the shutters so they could get $300. I agreed as the shutter would be off for another week looking for someone to put it up. I have a reverse mortgage and I am suppose to have the house well maintained so I went with what these men wanted. I told them I was going through cancer treatment which I was and they could not care less about my money situation. Well it only took them 1 hour to tighten up 4 shutters so I paid $300 for 1 hours work. I would not use this company in the future.

      They were contracted by my property manager to repair a shower water diverter. They did a horrible job and I was charged for services they did not do. They do substandard work and I also blame my property manager Bay Management Group of Northern Va. for hiring them.

      Not reliable, did not show up for set appointment. Made up some excuse when asked and had a bad attitude over the phone.

      Do not use, My wife called Jeeves with me sitting there, We were under a DHCA order to have work done on our home with a time limit, My wife was talking to the lady who quoted us $160.00 an hour minimum of two hours and she would send a man out to look at the work to be done. We were expecting 16 hrs of work over two days plus $500 in materials. Well after a rain delay, they came by did the work, and completed it in 6.5 hours, not 16. We had asked for a materials receipt for tax purposes and were told we could have it. When presented with the final bill it still reflected 16 hours of labor and the contractor had no receipts for materials. They tried to tell us extra labor was for two men...Nope. The contractor repeatedly called my wife a liar. Unprofessional. After some threats to take us to court, they dropped the 16-hour charge and we paid 6.1 hours. that they were here. Do not use them.

      Customer signed a contract for $2000 labor and materials to complete the requested repairs. Once the repairs were completed, customer refused to pay, despite signing a contract.

      I am incredibly disappointed with Jeeves Handyman Services.
      I hired them to replace a screen door. The handyman wasn't knowledgeable in replacing screen doors. I just wish he had told me so. Labor took over 3 hours because the handyman couldn't properly install. I ended up paying triple what I should have paid due the the time it took. Handyman then told me there was a problem with the installation and that I would just have to "wiggle" the screen door to get it to work.
      The screen came off the tracks several times and is unusable. Money wasted. I called the owner, Mark Grodecki, and he agreed to send me a check for one hour labor but my check never arrived.
      I would caution you before using this company. The owner became very unprofessional and rude after I asked for a partial refund. I reached out when the check didn't arrive and his response was ,"I'm not in charge of the US mail system."
      Please, please, save yourself the time and go with someone else.

      Be wary and use at your own risk. This is what I wrote when I responded to their request for the quality of the experience
      Substandard.And it could've been a lot worse had I not been physically present.Let me begin by saying that the two technicians started off by going to the wrong house.They ended up going to my next door neighbor's house and proceeded to give them a free gutter cleaning.I was alerted to this when I received a phone call from another one of your employees,telling me the technicians persistently knocked on the door with no response and just decided to clean the gutters anyway.Naturally,I was confused since no one was at my house.At that point, your employee who called quickly realized the technicians were in the wrong place.Also, we specifically agreed on a request that a phone call occur prior to your arrival at my house, however that was not done.In fact,it was only after you completed the gutter cleaning at the wrong house that I received a phone call.So, you neglected to follow through on the initial phone call and furthermore, if you tried to call after knocking unsuccessfully at the wrong house, you would've prevented cleaning the wrong house.It's utter incompetence and stupidity.After the technicians arrived and began to work, I witnessed one of your technicians spitting on my front lawn.I told him not to and he complied, however it's unprofessional and frankly, rather disgusting and disrespectful for that to occur.Considering the ineptitude at the beginning before work was even started, I felt it necessary to keep a close eye on the technicians both in the front and back of the house, for fear that something might go awry.It was not comforting to know I had to maintain my physical presence in view of the technicians to guarantee that no mishaps would occur.And finally, after the work was completed, one of the technicians decided to just turn on the front water hose spigot, without asking, to rinse his hands.Overall, not a good experience.
