  This app has a super misleading website.
  
  I agreed to pay 1$ for one week trial. Then, I got asked if I wanted to "save" by paying 59.99 now for 12 weeks. Next comes some language along the lines of "click the button that says "XYZ - I cannot see that anymore, so I do not remember the exact wording" to skip trial and continue with your 12-week subscription". I did not want to do that and did not see anything with that exact same language. What I saw instead was only one clickable button - big and purple - with slightly different and somewhat confusing language. I thought that would allow me to proceed with the 1-week trial, but instead I got charged 59.99.
  
  It strikes me that an app intended to help people who are having trouble sleeping (and are therefore likely to be more tired than the avg person) should endeavour to have crystal clear language and not effectively make the 59.99 option the default by making it so prominent (I legit did not see any other button to click).
  
  Within 2 minutes, I emailed Loona and requested a refund. I also (within minutes) launched a dispute with my credit card company. I hope this will be resolved. If not, I will consider taking action against Loona for this fraudulent practice.

  I just did the "free" test via a Farcebook post. I opted for the $1 trial. They charged my American Express $1.08.
  ~ I will be keeping an eye on my card and will get a notification if they do anything more. Sorry to you who've had a problem. I was the victim of a similar scam. They did charge me many times over the agreed "trial" price. Fortunately, AMEX made it right because I caught them while still "pending". That's why I gave it a shot.
  
  I haven't downloaded the app yet, hence the three stars. I will hope that's not where I might have a problem.
  ~ For the dollar, I'll try it for the week.

  Wish I would’ve read these warning reviews. This app is a SCAM, what company doesn’t honor their customers wished for a refund when they set up the website in a way that if you want a $1 7-day trial and they charge you $48 instead. They now have made me unable to pay a bill, this app is an absolute joke, do not waste your time. Instead of helping with sleep now I’m losing sleep. The way they only have email customer service, don’t allow refunds even if you contact them within minutes of the charge, claim you’re getting a week trial for $1 and charge you for a 12 week subscription instead, it’s all such a scam and I do not know how they remain in business this way. Whoever created this is a thief with no integrity, this company is just absolutely disgusting. I’ve been scammed out of $48 PLUS an extra $1 for the trial I never got and hate the app so much I will not even bother to give it the time off day. I wonder how hard it would be to start a lawsuit lol, they are AWFUL! Wish I could give negative stars.

  This app appeared on my phone in the middle of the night according to my PayPal records. I only caught it because they charged me after I switched banks, causing a negative balance. Their subscription cannot be managed in the Apple Store App, and there was no feasible way to cancel on the app itself. When I emailed with screenshots showing I never even created an account they denied my refund request. The verbiage on the email makes it obvious that its a bot answering. Predatory company. Stay away!

  Absolute bullshit. The $1 trial didn't inform me it was up as I was told. Charged me $60. I canceled literally minutes after it happened and the company refuses to refund me. They're predatory thieves. If I could less than 1 star I would. That kind of money isn't something some people can just throw around.

  Well. First of all the customer service "email" needs to be updated to at least have a phone number as well. Then signed up for the 1 dollar trail. And was charged 60 dollars. Mind you their advertising prices for only $40.00. I asked for my money back but I was told i don't qualify for a refund? Like what in the ... I literally canceled the app 4 minutes after being charged 60 dollars . cause I was lead to believe i was only paying. For a 1$ trail. This app needs to be shut down because they are clearly scamming people like why can't you give people money back? Cause they know the app is trash and isn't worth 60 dollars . im pissed .i wish I could sue these people not only on my behalf but for the others as well. DO NOT USE THIS APP.

  The app doesn't let you customize your bedtime according to your needs. It suggested me to sleep 9.5 hours and wouldn't let me change it and then they charged me before I could cancel fast enough. There's no number to call customer service. It's a nightmare trying to get a refund for service I can't use billed quarterly after paying for trial.

  I liked the free version. But. I wanted to see if paid version is better. I purchased the yearly. I trued it for 7 days, emailed for refund. No refunds allowed on any Loona subscription. - $39.99 down my drain. :/ it's not worth subscribing.
