Boir.com charged me $349 pretending to be associated with the gov. You do not realise that it’s NOT a Govt agency until the last page at the bottom after you’ve paid the said “filing fee”. I would never have provided that much info if I had known it was not a gov agency. Now, I am worried about the repercussions of them have all that sensitive info. I called my credit card company and they gave me Boir’s phone number to call but voice recording told me to reply to email. Very, very concerned!

BOIR.com is a scam that pretends to be associated with a government website and charges you to file a report that is free on FINCEN.GOV. There is no warning going through the website until the very end after you have paid that it is not a government website. I asked for a cancellation of the order after I figured out it was free on FINCEN.GOV They confirmed receipt of my cancellation request (which was sent within 5 minutes of placing the order). Their customer service has replied 45 days later confirming my order was cancelled. But they still have not credited my bank account the fee that was charged. At the time of this note, it has now been a total of 87 days and still no refund. Their customer service has replied several times saying effectively: "we're working on it". Obviously they are not. They do not list a phone number for customer service on their site. The only way to communicate with these fraudsters is to email them. And as stated above, they respond every few weeks telling you how busy they are and nothing gets done.

BOIR.com is a scam that pretends to be associated with a government website and charges you to file a report that is free on FINCEN.GOV. There is no warning going through the website until the very end after you have paid that it is not a government website. This is recently changed with a warning all the way down at the very bottom of the website where you're not likely to see it. Their customer support took a long time to respond and then claimed that they had not processed the transaction which is clearly not the case as my bank website shows that the charge was processed.
