    Compressa / Bewell
This company does a great job with online advertising and creating reviews.
    Don’t be fooled…I was
The order process is a deluge of pop ups and crap offers…
Then…WITHOUT giving you a review page, they place your order…NO REVIEW…They DO NOT ask if order is OK!!!!!!!!
Sooo…you get a load of socks and other crap you had no intention of ordering…
I started the request to cancel immediately, but they have no recourse. They just screw you in….
Customer service, which is advertised as 24/7, was not available until 8AM.
I contacted them at that time and was lied to and told it was already shipped.
Then they disallow the USPS delivery instruction function that would allow you to refuse shipment…
They figure most folks will just pay up and not bother..
I told customer service I would take the overpriced knee compressors if they cancelled the other items…to no avail
This is a despicable bunch…DO NOT BUY!!!!!

Under name, Original Defense…Ordered three sleeping bags and a flashlight, cheap plastic. Well just noticed since Nov 22, 2022 same 19.97 charge I didn’t know even existed. Every month since. Disputing with Discover.

I wish I could give a "Zero" ranting. This is a scam! Read all the reviews below and then quadruple it. Knee brace to WebTV subscription! What a scam! Shut them down please!

STAY AWAY, This company (under the name compressa) sold us a compression knee sleeve, which was fine, but then 19.97 started showing up monthly from compressa as a subscription fee. I sent multiple emails through the website to "cancel the subscription" and tried contacting the company on their number for three months while disputing the charge with my credit card company. Ultimately, I canceled my credit card and finally got a phone contact who said they would cancel the subscription for a webTV service we never signed up for, but I am not confident. We are likely out of 80 dollars.

I ordered 6 Compressa support sleeves off a Facebook ad for Compressa. (2 for wrists, 2 for knees, and 2 for my ankles). I am a 71 year old disabled senior citizen living on a fixed income. A monthly charge of (19.97 Compressa) kept appearing on my credit card for the sleeves. I thought maybe that I had gotten one of those lower payment plans that some businesses offer you. But after seeing it for 6 months on my bill, I thought to myself “ Dang how much are these sleeves? “. So I got out my bills for the last six months and found out on the original bill it was around $60. But for the next month and thereafter Compressa signed me up for a recurring subscription on some streaming site called “Web TV” and apparently that it was automatically charged to my card and I didn’t even know what or who Web TV was! I never authorized this! They slammed me with these charges. And if it was “Web TV”, then why was “Compressa” 19.97 showing up on my credit card bill? So I called the phone number on my credit card bill next to the charge and found all of this out. I told them to cancel the subscription immediately and demanded a credit for almost $100 ( for the last 5 months) which was denied. I called Comenity bank ( issuer of my Ulta credit card) and they also denied me a refund telling me that I should have caught it earlier. Really? So I cancelled my card immediately and they issued me another card with a different number, but I doubt if I will ever use it because I thought that credit cards were supposed to honor their customers and stand in their corner and protect them from scammers like this. After reading other complaints, it seems like they do this a lot. A want a refund, an apology and for them to be shut down. They have several addresses, company names, etc. and I just noticed that their site (or one of them) is for sale for $18,500. Unbelievable.

Noticed a charge on my Credit card for $19.97 from a company called O Original Defense. Called My creditcard company to find our what this was and found out this amt has been coming out if my charge card account for 8 months now. I never authorized any if this and never heard if them. Their fraud dept is investigating and I closed credit card. This is a "gun" store and is being investigated by fbi. Report all and any transactions from this company or any if it's affiliates!
