      We bought some Bassett custom furniture - 2 sectional couch systems, 2 swivel chairs with an ottoman, along with a fireplace consule, and a Beautyrest Black mattress & boxsprings. Our sales associate, Jacob Carney, worked closely with us over several weeks to get the order right and to our satisfaction. He was a pleasure to work with and kept in regular contact with us throughout the process. We did have an issue with the Beautyrest mattress, but after a couple of contacts with JJ staffers, a replacement was delivered to our home. We bought furniture 2 other times from the Laurel location, and we could not be happier with our purchases and the buying experience. Everyone from sales associate Jacob, to his boss & the delivery & warranty associates were a pleasure to work with. Whenever we need to purchase furniture, we will turn to Johnny Janosik without hesitation.

      This is ZERO stars!
      This place, JOHNNY JANOSIK, is a DUMP! They delivered furniture to me with no hardware to assemble the bed. I waited ALL DAY for the guy to come back. I didn’t watch him put the bed together, but later found out that he used mix matched screws (guess all day he was looking for them couldn’t find them so they just used whatever they had in the warehouse). Then on top of that, screws are missing…26 screws needed, he only screwed in 20…some slats didn’t have screws and the rails were filthy. Looked like rat turds in the drawers…yea they weren’t cleaned before delivery. The furniture is poorly made and the prices jacked up! The warehouse is FILTHY! Your furniture will be delivered barely put together, not put together properly if needed to be done in your home. They really should not be open for business. It’s JUNK!!! They offer no refunds and make you keep damaged furniture. The sales people are so inexperienced!! It’s HORRIBLE! NEVER AGAIN and I will tell the WORLD…DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM THIS PLACE!!!

      Horrible!! I was flat out LIED TO by the salesperson about the warranty! He said they will only come out 3 times in 3 years so if you have a small issue you may want to wait to have them come out to make sure you don’t have any other issues. They delivered my furniture and the sofa was not installed correctly. They never returned my calls. I tried to file a claim with the warranty and it was DENIED because it was 2 different issues and not a “single occurrence” for a $350 warranty!! Furniture is cheap and customer service is horrible! No return calls NOTHING! I will never go back and I will leave a review anywhere I can! DONT GO THERE! I never leave negative reviews until NOW! They lie when you buy 4K furniture that’s JUNK! Read the reviews below they’re all the same .. ripping people off left and right! This is after SEVERAL calls and messages to mangers. I’ll be going to the store to meet with the salesman that ripped me off too!

      EVERYTHING YOU READ FROM OTHER PEOPLE IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO HOW HORRIBLE THIS COMPANY IS AND IN MY 70 YEARS IN THE PEOPLE BUSINESS, I CAN TELL YOU THEY ARE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. THEY ARE THIEVES, ONCE THEY GET YOUR MONEY YOU AS GOOD AS DEAD TO THEM.

      I paid for “White Glove” service and NEW Furniture, not used furniture. I purchased sofa and loveseat for our family room and paid the full asking price. Originally, the customer service related to my purchase was great. I was given a 4-6 week window for delivery which was fine with me. However, I received a call and email a few days later that both items were available and IN-STOCK. On that note, we sold our other furniture to prepare to receive the new furniture. Yesterday, August 9, 2023 the delivery truck arrived to my home. As I watched closely during the unpacking of the first item, "the loveseat", the men carefully removed all the packing materials and move the first item into my home. The next item, the sofa, I noticed was not wrapped for shipping, it was open with other items piled on top of the sofa, and no "NEW" labels, packaging, and it looked used. Once off the truck I noticed dog hair all down between the back of the sofa, and once the backs were removed in order to carry the sofa into my home, we saw more dog hair and appearance that this was not a new item THIS WAS TOTALLY unacceptable and disgusting behavior on the part of your company. Also, because your company neglected to ensure I received a new sofa, this one had a loose back on one side that appeared to be weak. damaged or broken. I refused to receive this item and immediately contacted customer service. The response I received from customer service was bland and of non concern, and a simple “Oh We Don’t Do That”…….really?!?! If you didn't do that, then who did?? Who shipped the furniture if you (Johnny Janosik) did not???? I now have only one loveseat in my home and was not given an estimated date for my replacement NEW sofa, most of all I was not even offered any type of compensation for the events which took place.
      In closing, I will be reporting this issue to the “BBB” and filing a complaint. I do expect a response from someone at this company ASAP.

      Don't buy from them, They don't honor their warranty. A problem developed with one of their very expensive chairs about six months after they delivered it. Refused to fix te probkem because I didn't let them know right away. That's not true. I let them know a few days after I discovered it. And even if hadn't told them when I first discovered the problem, the warranty doesn't say anything about how quickly I needed to inform the company. So in effect they changed the warranty on their own,

      The chairs are (otherwise) all right, but nothing makes up for buying something under these conditions, Nothing.

      Dishonest, deceitful, unhelpful. But mostly, DISHONEST.

      If I could do zero stars I would. Johnny Janosik is the worst company I've ever dealt with. I wish I read reviews before I purchased from them. They're great during the sale, but once you pay, good luck. It's impossible to speak to someone. I spent a fortune on a mattress that arrived defective. I paid for a top notch mattress & received one that is clearly a second quality or possibly even used. I'm furious. Maybe Action News Investigator reporters can help get me resolution. Do not buy from this company. They should be shut down by the BBB

      AWFUL CUSTOMER CARE/SERVICE.

      I used to think they were a really good furniture store alternative in the tri-state area. They have nice furniture that is of fairly good quality.
      THEN I HAD A PROBLEM! My sales associate Judy, always recommended I buy the protection plan for my furniture because I have dogs. "It's a must with pets." My pet damaged a very expensive leather loveseat. My protection plan on the love seat is good until 2025. I felt relieved. Then it all crumbled.
      Johnny Janosik no longer deals with Guardsman but they were able to get me in touch with someone there. I submitted a claim and it was denied? What? Why? Reached out to Judy and she was going to get her manager Mark to work on it. For the next 6 weeks I tried to contact Judy via text, email and voice mail. I tried to contact Mark on two occasions.
      Johnny Janosik would be happy to send someone out to look at it for a minimum visit of close to $200. WHAT? WHY? They knew what happened and had photos...why did someone have to come out to ask the same questions and look at what the pictures showed?
      All I asked was that they send someone out free of charge to me to give me an estimate. Mark left me a message, "No, that is what we charge and there is nothing I can do about it.
      YOU CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT MARK (AND JUDY) - YOU CAN SERVICE YOUR PREVIOUSLY FAITHFUL CUSTOME.
      Never again will I buy anything from them and will share this on Facebook, Instagram, and shout it from the roof top to all my friends and family. Couldn't be more disappointed.

      They are really bad. Promised delivery in 6 to 8 weeks. Now there stating it takes 4 months to get delivery. What recourse is there.

      Very poor "After the Sale" service. Ordered three pieces of furrniture 2 out of three were malfunctioned. We want a refund . Nobody from managment has yet to return call or resolve.
      We have several more rooms to furnish. We will not be purchasinmjg fromthis group again. Shameful they way they are dealing with t6his situation. We will continue to document via internet our dissatisfaction so others aren't left in this situation.
