    So I received a letter from firstcollect on January 27th 2025 claiming that I owe a bill to Nanticoke hospital for 1448.75 an that I have 14 days to pay or they was going garnish my wages.So I called to inform firstcollect that I had no bills with Nanticoke an that I had payed an clear everything about 6 months ago with firstcollect office an she then states that the bill is from 2007 I have no idea about this bill an have documentation of this bill an shouldn't this not be allowed the company nolonger in business an if this is a bill company would charged off by now I feel like firstcollect is trying to collect money they shouldn't be just cause I paid off the other stuff that was in their office previously an I don't owe this money an don't want this to hit my credit that I have been working on for last 6 months get all clean please help .

    This judgement is from 01-14-2010. Date of service is from 10-14-2007. MR ********* is aware of this judgment as he made a payment on it for $75 on 11-06-2023. Nanticoke Hospital merged with Tidal heath and is still in business. This judgment is not being reported on his credit due to the age but he still owes the money as its a legal judgment from the State of Delaware. Wages can be attached until the judgment is paid off or payment arrangement's are made with FirstCollect. Please call FirstCollect at 302-644-6804 to settle this judgment.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my  issue.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
    **In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered.

    I reject the claim First Collect, Inc has made against me (**** *********). This debt is not owed to them or any medical facility.  All of my medical bills were paid off.  It is my belief that First Collect is wrongfully trying to Collect money from me since every so often they come up with some other manufactured charge against me.

    FirstCollect has provided everything this person has requested. FirstCollect does not buy the debt. We only collect on the debt provided to us from the client. Nanticoke is still in business. They merged with another hospital. The new name is Tidal health. Please request any information you need from FirstCollect 302-644-6804.
