The transaction happened on 7 January for an even taking place on 18 January. Tickets-Center sold me 2 tickets for 234.95 in the the last row of the circus. On the circus's website, two seats in the second row only cost $135.68. They will not allow me to resell my tickets, refund them, or make any changes to my reservation saying I should have known because it was in the terms and conditions of the purchase which as we all know is hidden in legalese/fine print. Their website prides themselves on being able to re-sell tickets but I cannot and when I called them to make the change they could not do anything to help.Business Response

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Fast, easy and secure secondary marketplace tickets. Prices may be above or below face value."
When placing their order our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to our terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is provided. Directly below the “Place Order” button our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $234.95 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.
Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. As such, ticket listing prices are set by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors. As noted above, this means that the price paid may not reflect the original price of the ticket the customer receives, or the price of other markets. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy. We maintain that all order details and relevant purchase terms were sufficiently displayed prior to the customer placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value”.
On 12/19/24, our customer placed an order which subsequently was cancelled due to an inability to fulfill the order. Two hours after that order was placed, our customer made another purchase from our website for the same event. When a duplicate order is made on our site, a pop-up window warning the customer of a potential inadvertent double-purchase allows the customer to check a box to verify this new purchase. In our customer's case, their second order is a verified double purchase and was delivered on the same date of purchase.
Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.
Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.Regards,

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my issue. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The business responded with two inaccurate claims: 1) that all sales are final, and 2) that they discussed and resolved the issue with me.1) Their claim that "all sales are final" is manifestly false. I purchased tickets originally in the morning. The sale went through and they gave me a confirmation number. The charge went through to my credit card and I received a notification from my credit card company that my card had been charged. Two hours later, they reversed that sale and sent me an email saying they were reversing it. But that was after the sale had occurred. It was after they gave me confirmation of the sale. It was after they charged my credit card. They made a sale to me. They confirmed that sale. Then later they reversed it. So, regardless of their claim, it's manifestly not true that all sales are final.2) When I called them about the additional charge they had made on my account later, they referred to the false claim that all their sales were final. The agent claimed they were unable to help me. I asked to speak with someone who could in fact help. The agent claimed they were unable to let me speak with anyone else. I asked for a supervisor and the agent claimed they had none. I asked to continue discussing the matter to try to resolve it. But the agent refused and hung up. in September 2024, I bought tickets for a KebMo concert in Tallahassee Florida on October 1, 2024. I made arrangements to attend and transport from South Carolina so then I paid for tickets when arrangements made. Then was sent an email by Ticket Center before the concert that it was cancelled and moved to end of March 2025. I am unable to attend in March but no one asked me. The tickets are $517.50 and parking $57.50. I called Ticket-Center and was treated rudely and told tough that Ticket-Center would not reimburse my money. No options available. I am just out the $575.00 which is a lot of money for no service or merchandise. Very disappointing. I feel I was strong armed and beyond my control after so many arrangements and paying in good faith that the company would be honorable and not take advantage of clients. I would appreciate it if Ticket-Center would reimburse the money.Business Response

The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value.”
At the time of purchase, in order to complete their order, our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to our terms stating, "I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the order summary below. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars. Directly below the “Place Order” button our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking "Place Order", your credit card will be charged $517.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees." at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.
We understand the customer has since indicated that they will no longer be able to attend the event. However, it should be noted that the customer cannot receive a refund for postponed or rescheduled events per the agreed-to terms and conditions which state: “If an event is postponed or rescheduled, your order will not qualify for a refund and your tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date.” Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process—from a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).”
In addition to this current claim, our customer filed a dispute with their credit card company regarding this order. We have addressed this, and the dispute was ultimately ruled in our favor. If our customer has any further questions regarding this dispute, we encourage them to reach out to the financial institution with which it was filed. At this time, we consider this matter closed.

On November 19th 2024 an unauthorized user used my credit card to purchase tickets believing the site was ticketmaster. I contacted the company for a refund since I did not make this purchase and was told I could resell but they could not help me. To top this off the tickets aren't garunteed until the day before the concert. I did recieve a set of tickets but they can't be added to my Google wallet and none of the buttons other than share on the screen work, I believe these to be fake.Business Response

I went on the Atlanta Fox Theater website to purchase tickets for their Cirque De Soleil Twas the Night Before Christmas event on Dec 8, 2024. I don't know how, but somehow I ended up purchasing the tickets through Ticket Center. Somehow they highjacked my purchase from the Fox Theater website. I clicked on seats in the orchestra row N and paid for the tickets. The price was reflective of the orchestra level seating $129/seat. My total prices was $341. But when I received the tickets, they were SLA row N, tickets that sell for $69.50 currently (nose bleed seats). I never would have paid $341 (over $170 per ticket) for these nose bleed seats. I did not notice the change to the seats if they made it when I clicked on the final purchase button. I am very angry because I can go onto the Fox Theater website and purchase good seats for the $129 price. Now my daughter and I have to sit in nosebleed seats knowing that I paid the price for the good seats. It is tempting to just go purchase the better seats on the Fox Theater website, but its Christmas and I cannot afford to pay for tickets twice. I tried calling Ticket Center to see if they could address the issue, but they refused. Said "all sales final". Told me to try reselling them. Right. Who would pay twice the price for tickets when they can buy them at regular price. This was straight up a bait and switch scam.Business Response

I purchased tickets for Becky Robinson Concert and paid $363.50 tickets in May 2024 for concert on 10/17/24. This business gives you a link to click on to transfer tickets to you. However, the link leads to nowhere and goes around and around. Customer service phone number only sends you back to chat which refers caller back to phone number. It is a scam! I want my money back. When I disputed with credit card co. This business says they won’t refund my $ because I did not cancel. I never wanted to cancel. I just wanted the tickets I paid for! At the concert the seats I purchased were empty! Clearly I bought tix but never was able to have tickets transferred to me. Research shows this business is not trustworthy and this is a common experience with them. This is fraud and I want my money back.Business Response

Tickets-Center.com facilitates thousands of successful ticket transfers each day with satisfied customers, so we are confident of the efficacy of our processes. During the checkout process, customers are able to view the delivery format for their tickets. The selection our customer made was electronic transfer, where sellers transfer the tickets using the platform that the venue has issued tickets through. Customers receive an email with instructions on how to access their tickets, as well as a separate email which contains a link to claim their tickets, advising them to do so. We have confirmed that the ticket transfer was received on May 21st, 2024, and maintain that the link sent was valid. If our customer had any issues accepting or locating the ticket transfer, we always welcome them to call in.
In addition to this current claim, our customer filed a dispute with their credit card company regarding this order. We have addressed this, and the dispute was ultimately ruled in our favor. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. **In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered. Re: Reject the business response.I would like to pursue arbitration . I am happy to have the BBB go through my email/phone electronically to find the tickets which were allegedly emiled to me. If this is true I should have a record of the tickets which I do not because I never received them. Additionally, I did call Tickets-Center multiple times to no avail. What the BBB needs to know is you cannot get through to this vendor about issues transferring tickets. THIS is the problem. This is predatory behavior and I am continuing to request my money back. It does not make sense to claim I did not receive them and then go on to buy more tickets for the same show! Thank you for responding. We would like to address Ms. ******'s concerns. It should be noted that a dispute was filed through Ms. ******'s financial institution, and the dispute was resolved in our company's favor. During the dispute process, our company provided sufficient support to our rebuttal that tickets had been provided, that the dispute was resolved in our company's favor. If Ms. ****** has additional questions regarding the dispute, we advise she contact her financial institution directly. Regarding Ms. ******'s claim that she could not get through to us: our customer support staff is available daily via phone call, live chat and email. The first record of contact we have regarding Ms. ******'s order was not from Ms. ****** herself, but notification of her financial dispute three weeks after the event had taken place. The first contact we have from Ms. ****** came after our reply to her initial complaint, at which time our policies were outlined by our customer care team. I purchased three tickets for an upcoming play (mid November 2024). The advertised price was $34 with the discount. After all was 'said and done' - I was charged $697.00 when the total should have been $136.00 I think that the Gottwald Playhouse at Dominion EnergyCenter - Richmond, VA is remiss in allowing a redirect when it appears the tickets are being sold by the playhouse. TicketCenter.com has no contact information but informs the customer that all sales are final - AFTER the puchase. Perhaps that information is buried deep in some document but I missed it. Very few ticket sales are final when the ticket is being purchased 3 plus weeks in advance. Finally, A markup of almost 700%? Shame on this vendor! Truly - this is a disgrace. I will contest paying for these tickets but I think that customers should be aware of the sales scam promoted by this company - to buyers and (apparently) resellers of tickets. thank youBusiness Response

Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Christmas with CS Lewis they were able to see the tickets available along with the map which matches the map from the venue. Once selected, they are taken to a page with an in-depth description of their ticket information, event details, ticket quantity, delivery method and any other notes related to the tickets. After confirming their selection, they were directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $697.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I purchased tickets in November of 2023 for my wife to see Keane at MGM music hall. I received an email confirming my purchase and another email confirming that I accepted the tickets. When I checked my TicketMaster account, no upcoming events were listed. After reading around I found that some event tickets wouldn’t be available until closer to the event. July 2024 I logged into TicketMaster again and still had no upcoming events. I called Ticket-Center and they stated the tickets wouldn’t be made available by the seller until September. I called back in September and was told that the tickets wouldn’t be made available by the seller until 48hrs prior to the event. I called back the night before the event and was told the link I was originally sent was good but expired and they’d have me issued another link. Called back again that night as it was getting late and I still had no link. They stated “you’ll just have to wait and call us back if you don’t get it.” The morning of the concert I called for a 5th time and was told “it’s a TicketMaster problem, take it up with them.” My wife was leaving for the event and I was stuck on hold with TicketMaster so I purchased new tickets through another site and gave them to my wife. Ticketmaster then confirmed that Ticket-Center sent my tickets to the wrong TicketMaster account. I requested a refund from Ticket-Center as the tickets didn’t get to me in time and I was forced to purchase new tickets. Ticket-Center refused to refund me due to the venue confirming that their tickets were scanned. I was able to call the venue and confirm that they were not scanned and provided Ticket-Center with the email from the venue stating this. Ticket-Center said they apologized and would get back to me in 3-5 days. I waited two weeks before again reaching out. They flat out denied my claim. This debacle cost me well over a thousand dollars and hours of my life. I recommend everyone avoid this awful company.Business Response

It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value.”
Our customer placed their order on 11/16/23 for Keane which took place on 9/23/24. Their tickets were delivered on 9/26/24, to our customer's email address. Moreover, our customer contacted us stating they had issues accessing their tickets. We had the seller attempt to retransfer their tickets, which is not a guarantee. Unfortunately, the seller was not able to retransfer the tickets and they provided documentation of the initial ticket transfer sent to our customer's email address on file. As such, we maintain the customer’s order was successfully fulfilled and aligns with the Buyer’s Guarantee.
Prior to receiving this claim, we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer. We maintain that our customer has received valid tickets for their event, aligning with our terms. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department for assistance.

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my issue. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. **In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered. Two issues with the response:1.- Did Ticket-Center just say they confirmed tickets were delivered on 9/26/24 for a concert 9/23/24? 2.- The tickets were sent to the wrong TicketMaster account by Ticket-Center. Ticket-Center said the seller would need to reissue another link but “that isn’t a guarantee.” How is that the consumers issue? Why is the seller protected but the consumer isn’t? As a third party reBoth of these points violate Ticket-Centers section 7 of their terms and services which states:“7. One Hundred Percent Guarantee. The 100% Guarantee means (i) that your transaction will be safe and secure, (ii) the tickets will be delivered prior to the event, (iii) the tickets will be identical, comparable, or better than the tickets you ordered, and (iv) the tickets will be valid and authentic. Your only recourse under this 100% Guarantee is compensation of the purchase price (including delivery charges, less possible restocking fees), in the form of credit for use on a future purchase or as a cash refund, as determined at our sole discretion except where prohibited by law. Please note that insurance costs will not be refunded and Item 12 below addresses canceled and postponed events.” As a third party platform for Ticket Resellers so you not have an obligation to both the buyer and the seller to guarantee tickets that are purchased are valid, delivered prior to the event (in time for people to go), and fulfilled regardless of company error? Just based on Ticket-Center’s response, I feel even more strongly that I would like a full refund which is well within their ability as their terms of service states “it’s up to the company’s discretion for cash refunds.” Regards, Complaint ID: 22462822Business Response

The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value”
Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Disney On Ice: Mickeys Search Party, they were able to see the tickets available. Once selected, they are taken to a page with an in-depth description of their ticket information, event details, ticket quantity, delivery method and any other notes related to the tickets. After confirming their selection, they were directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $388.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars. Some venues may require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test. You are responsible for checking venue health and safety requirements for entry." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $388.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.
If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.
