Placed PayPal purchase of single ticket through Ticket Center April 5, 2025. Received confirmatory email for purchase number 72481549. Almost immediately thereafter received followup email stating that the purchase had been cancelled because Ticket Center "cannot accept orders from individuals who have attempted to withhold payment for past ticket orders from us or from another company in our industry, per our terms of use," a false statement as any previous interaction would have been due solely to disputing a charge for legitimate reasons (almost certainly with Ticket Master). The email further indicated that while the charge had went through PayPal to my credit card issuing institution (USAA FSB), that "the pending hold for this purchase should be removed within 3-5 business days. Please contact your financial institution used for this transaction if you have any further questions about the pending hold." I thereafter contacted USAA and they indicated that they will initiate a credit card dispute if Ticket Center proceeds to attempt to charge for the ticket (which online reviews states they frequently do).Business Response

Thank you for contacting us regarding this matter. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and appreciate the opportunity to address their concerns. Our records indicate that the customer filed a previous dispute on one of their previous orders, therefore they are unable to place future orders with our site. Please note that the pending amount on our customer account is simply a transaction holds placed on their account by their financial institution when they placed the order. The order was never processed, and the pending hold will disappear from their account within a few business days. The time frame for this is completely dependent upon the financial institution. If our customer has any further questions about this hold, we encourage them to reach out to their bank. At this time, we consider this matter resolved.

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my issue. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. **In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered. The BBB may consider the matter as closed. There is no need to pursue the matter further. Nevertheless, the business' response was completely pro forma and avoidant. Further, it does not address the horrid nature of their practice (a person can only purchase tickets if they haven't complained of the business' past practice? This is in principle much the equivalent of what is deemed an invalid contract of adhesion in civil law), nor account for the value of my time that was wasted in correcting this issue through my financial institution, this business' so-called customer service, or in feeling the need to lodge this complaint with the BBB.. The complaint if possible should be made publicly available to warn off other consumers. Short of this, as stated, the matter may be considered closed by BBB, with my appreciation.Respectfully, Regards, Complaint ID: 23164640Initial Complaint

Purchased 3 tickets for "Postcards From Earth" at the Sphere in Las Vegas for Sunday, March 9 at 7 pm. The tickets were still not in my account on the morning of March 9th, despite the 100% Buyer's Guarantee that they would be available by this time. When I contacted Tickets-Center, they told me the show had been postponed. I requested a refund and was told that was not their policy for a postponed show, I could just use tickets when rescheduled. I told them I would not be in Las Vegas for any rescheduled show. Later, I spoke with Nathan at Guest Relations at the Sphere, who told me that particular show had been canceled, in November of 2024, therefore tickets shouldn't have been sold after that date (I purchased mine on January 24, 2025). On Friday March 14 I informed Tickets-Center customer service, and they in turn informed me that the seller had informed them that the show was canceled. So now I should receive a refund for a canceled vs postponed show. T-C still will not confirm that I will receive this refund; their "masking"(?) department has to be involved, or a "manager" has to investigate. There are many many reviews and reports of scams by Tickets-Center, which leaves me with zero confidence or guarantee that I receive my refund. My next step will be a report filed with NY AG.Business Response

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we are not affiliated with any event or venue and do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. At this time the cancellation of our customer's event has been verified. However, in addition to this current claim, our customer has filed a dispute through their PayPal account regarding their order. This means the customer has now been refunded through the dispute process. If our customer has any further questions regarding this dispute, we encourage them to reach out to the financial institution with which it was filed. At this time, we consider this matter closed.

I ordered tickets on Mar 9. I made this purchase selecting an option for PayPal "pay later" which should have broken the payment into installments. Instead it tries to charge the full amount and overdraft me, my bank denied the transaction due to insufficient funds. Now both PayPal and the vendor claim this is what I agrees to when it is not. I would not have even gone through PayPal or this site if it wasn't for thr pay later option which they did not honor. I did not make a mistake or select the wrong option. The company is not honoring what I agreed to. This transaction is void to me but they refuse to back off. This is not buyers remorse, o believe they just have a fake button for PayPal pay later and don't actually honor it. They have also been intraceable and refuse to honor the payment plan. Their customer service just sends canned responses. I am done with this, this transaction is void, this is a terrible and misleading service and they are taking advantage of paypal and customers.Business Response

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customers’ concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Independent resale tickets, prices may be above face value.”
Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Hadestown, they were able to see the tickets available. Once selected, they are taken to a page with an in-depth description of their ticket information, event details, ticket quantity, delivery method and any other notes related to the tickets. After confirming their selection, they were directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $4,264.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customer selected PayPal as their preferred payment method, they were presented with the disclosure stating: "Click the button below to login to your PayPal account in a new window. After you have confirmed your payment and your shipping information with PayPal you will be returned to our site to review and finalize your order." Below this disclosure our customer was able to click on the terms of the PayPal pay later, which explicitly states "Pay in 4 is available to consumers upon approval for purchases of $30 to $1,500." As our customer's order was over $1,500 they did not qualify for the installment program, therefore they were charged for the full amount.
We maintain that these terms are displayed prior to purchase for the customer to review and are outside of Tickets-Center's purview. Our buyer's guarantee assures our customer will receive valid tickets in time for their event; thus, we must uphold our "all sales are final" policy. If our customer has further questions, they can contact our customer service team.

Having been in contact with PayPal, my initial report was erroneous - I have attached screenshot showing what their website offers for purchases over 1500. For smaller purchases they show Pay in 4. These are representative images of how they advertised this to me. I would have been paying this for for longer than 4 payments in a month - it suggests at least ~10 months. The business is mksrelresenting how it operates. As they note they are a "reseller". This means they bought the tickets and are selling them independently. Their suggestion that they don't have their own inventory is deceptively false. Regards, Complaint ID: 23083395Business Response

Thank you for responding. We appreciate the opportunity to provide further clarification regarding this matter. Please note that although our customer claims that they were advertised a particular payment plan, we are unable to confirm that one our end as we are not affiliated with PayPal. At this time we must abide by our "all sales are final" policy. Our records show that our customer was sent their tickets to their email address non 3/9/25 and will be valid for their event Hadestown 5/18/25. Tickets center deceptively posed as town toyota center. I wanted to buy tickets for a local event. They then rush you with a timer. I did not have time to read disclaimers. I was decieved... Right after buying tickets I realized it and asked for a refund... within 10 minutes. They denied. I disputed through credit card and they denied. Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Jeff Dunham, they were prompted to select the quantity of tickets they want. After they chose the number of tickets, they were able to see the tickets available. Once selected, the customer was provided with an in-depth description of their ticket information, event details, ticket quantity and any other notes related to the tickets. After confirming their selection and clicking "Get these tickets", the customer was directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $414.95 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Furthermore, they are asked to add their billing address, and they are prompted to click the "Continue" button, where below it states, "Your account will not be charged yet." Then, our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the order summary below. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars. Some venues may require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test. You are responsible for checking venue health and safety requirements for entry." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown was reiterated, along with any additional ticket notes. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $414.95 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.
In addition to this current claim, our customer filed a dispute with their financial institution regarding this transaction. We have addressed this, and the dispute was ultimately ruled in our favor. If our customer has any further questions regarding this dispute, we encourage them to reach out to the financial institution with which it was filed. As it currently stands, we consider this matter closed.

Thank you for responding. We appreciate the opportunity to further address Mr. Kellogg's concerns. We would like to reiterate that all details regarding our status as a secondary ticket marketplace were outlined at multiple points throughout the ticket selection and purchase processes. At no point does our website purport to be the primary marketplace, the venue, or any affiliated entities thereof. Furthermore our terms of use, which every buyer must agree to prior to placing any purchase, are available through a link on our home page, under "Terms & Privacy."
Once an order is submitted, it cannot be cancelled at the customer's request. This is outlined within our terms, and an additional message is displayed prior to completing a purchase which requires the buyer's acknowledgement. This message reads: "“I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the order summary below. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars."
It should also be noted that according to our records, the first contact Mr. Kellogg made with our customer care team took place 4 days after the purchase was placed; in any case our all sales are final policy still stands. Once a buyer submits an order, they have agreed to our terms of use, and the inventory they have purchased is immediately removed from the site's listings. If Mr. Kellogg has any additional questions regarding his order, we encourage him to contact our customer care team directly. At this time we continue to consider this matter closed.

Tickets-Center pays placement to be top results in Google search, designing sites to show all acts scheduled for venues, to appear as official ticket outlet for their events. While tickets are still on sale from the actual event, Tickets-Center buys large blocks from them (in my case TicketMaster) then sells them at highly inflated costs (example: $89 tickets sold for $149, $40 parking sold for $79, $45 per ticket "service fees"). Tickets-Center.com claim they are only and intermediary for sellers, but individuals are not able to sell on their site. In fact, the tickets I purchased were provided directly from TicketMaster, to Tickets-Center. I contacted the business about this after discovering the "real" ticket prices and availability, and was advised by them to resell the tickets. TicketMaster says the venue is not allowing resale of the tickets, in spite of Ticket-Master selling them to Tickets-Center for resale. I feel this is an intentionally deceptive practice, and am seeking a cancellation of sale, and refund, with my agreement to return the tickets.Business Response

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. **In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered.Yes, I expected this unscrupulous seller to respond with a boilerplate response they undoubtedly give to all similar complaints. I also expected they would do nothing to make a customer happy and do everything they could to keep money from these transactions. They know they are selling tickets for over 60% markup when better seats are still available at the original price. A business operating this way clearly lacks ethics.I fell for their paying to get bumped up the Google search results, and list all of the venue's shows, as if they were the official seller. Shame on me. I do, however, wish to provide the Better Business Bureau, and other potential customers, with this information to make the general public aware of their practices. I have attached a separate purchase of FOUR tickets from the actual, original seller of tickets for this event for $441, a whole section in front of what Ticket-Center sold, which include seats. Compare that to $415 for TWO tickets Tickets-Center sold, sitting on grass, a whole section behind.Thank you, Better Business Bureau for your work to expose companies like this! Thank you for responding. We appreciate the opportunity to further address our customer's concerns. We would like to reiterate that as a marketplace, Tickets-Center does not set the value of tickets. Independent resellers are able to list tickets using our platform for a listed price determined by a number of factors including demand. Our role is to facilitate transactions between ticket holders and fans so that they may attend their favorite live events, and to provide a guarantee that the tickets received will be valid and delivered on time. We maintain that our initial response addresses their concerns adequately and thus, we stand by our position. If our customer has additional concerns outside of the scope of this specific complaint, we encourage them to contact our customer care team directly so that they may be addressed. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers.
With regard to the customer's event we would like to state that, customers will be appropriately compensated for any event which is cancelled outright and is not planned to be rescheduled. If, rather than cancelling, an event organizer postpones an event, we must adhere to the terms of use agreed to at the time of sale, which state “If an event is postponed or rescheduled, your order will not qualify for a refund and your tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date.” By placing their order, our customer agreed to these terms, which were available for review on the checkout page.
Since Tickets-Center operates as a secondary ticket marketplace we have taken no part in the decision-making process surrounding the event postponement. Such decisions are determined by the event production or venue, with which Tickets-Center has no affiliation. While we understand our customer's position and that they may not wish to attend the new event date, as outlined in our terms, their order does not qualify for compensation. As such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my issue. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I already spoke to their customer service and was given the same answer. I feel they are misrepresenting themselves here. Just because they are saying they are a "reseller" does not, I feel, absolve them of the responsibility to provide what I purchased - not an alternative. Thank you for responding. We appreciate the opportunity to further address our customer's concerns and again clarify our policies. As previously stated, within our terms it is outlined that if an event is postponed or rescheduled, a refund will not be issued in such cases as the tickets will still be valid for the new event date. Therefore, at no point has Tickets-Center offered refunds for rescheduled events, in accordance with our terms and conditions. We will continue to adhere to the agreed upon “all sales are final” policy, and would like to reiterate that our customer accepted the terms of sale, which were available for review when they placed their order. I was attempting to purchase tickets from the Kennedy Center's website to attend a show on March 20. Somehow instead of booking tickets directly from their website I ended up purchasing tickets from Ticket-Center.com., once I realized my mistake, Ticket-Center refused to give me a refund of any kind, despite the fact that the tickets have not shipped yet and the show is a month away.Business Response

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Our customer has stated that they believed they were purchasing through the website for the venue or of the event itself. However, it should be noted that our web address and website branding are intentionally different from those of any other site. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value.”
Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Shear Madness, they were prompted to select the quantity of tickets they want. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Furthermore, they are asked to add their billing address, and they are prompted to click the "Continue" button, where below it states, "Your account will not be charged yet." As a secondary ticket marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with the artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office. Our role is to act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holders. Because our customers are purchasing tickets listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that while we secure the delivery and validity of tickets, we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. Prior to receiving this claim, we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer. As all order details in question were accessibly and visibly displayed prior to placing their order, we consider this matter closed. I am concerned that I don't actually have the show tickets yet. I paid over $500.00 to a third-party and I don't have the tickets in my hands. How can I trust this mystery third party seller? Looking back, I must have assumed that this was just how the Kennedy Center sold their tickets. I realize now that was a stupid assumption, but now I'm at the mercy of some third party seller. I have no way of knowing if they are actually going to send me my tickets or not. What stops them from just pocketing the money? I won't feel this issue is resolved until I actually have my show tickets in hand. Regards, Complaint ID: 22962223Business Response

Thank you for responding. We appreciate the opportunity to further address the customer's concerns and clarify our policies. As previously stated, our web address and website branding are intentionally different from those of any other site. Tickets-Center is not affiliated with, nor does our site imitate, any primary site. As a secondary ticket marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with the artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office.
It should also be noted, tickets for our customer's event were transferred to the email address they provided during checkout on 3/19/25 at 8:10 AM CST. Since valid tickets were provided to the customer prior to their event their order was fulfilled in accordance with our 100% Guarantee and as such their order does not qualify for compensation. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

Attempted to purchase tickets for an event. I was directed to tickets-center.com where I selected (2) tickets for the event. It indicated that the tickets were non refundable. I completed the check-out and got an email confirmation of the tickets, but it was for the incorrect date. I called the company and they gave me no options except to sell the tickets on their site to buy others. Refused to give me a manager or an address to write a formal complaint.Business Response

Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Rubblebucket, they were able to see the tickets available and the Delivery Method. After confirming their selection, they were directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $159.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $159.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.
Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer. As all order details in question were accessibly and visibly displayed prior to placing their order, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns pertaining to their order, we encourage them to contact our customer service department.

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my issue. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. This business hides behind a complicated process that is not easy to navigate to receive your tickets. It's very misleading unless you are familiar with the ticket industry. Just because you are a market place that should not remove you from resolving customer issues. Why couldn't they connect me to the seller or contact them to explain the issue and repost those tickets and provide a refund. They hide behind a few well positioned disclosures that you cannot expect an average person to fully understand in the multi-screen process. In addition when you call for service you get someone that repeats the same line, no refunds sorry and no ability to talk to a supervisor nor would they give an address to wrote a formal complaint. This is unacceptable. Regards, Complaint ID: 22957937Business Response

I Purchased tickets through thus company. They are refusing to refund my tickets, the event was postponed and rescheduled for a date and time I cannot make. They are not willing to resell the tickets, even though there is plenty of time for them too. This is the second time this company has refused to refund tickets. This company needs to be banned from operation.Business Response

Customers will be appropriately compensated for any event which is cancelled and is not planned to be rescheduled. If, rather than cancelling, an event organizer postpones an event, we must adhere to the terms of use agreed to at the time of sale, which state that if an event is postponed or rescheduled, and the original tickets are valid for entry at the time of the rescheduled event, our customer’s order will not qualify for compensation. At this time, our customer’s event is considered rescheduled to April 30th, 2025. We are continuing to monitor this event, and we will notify our customer should any changes in the event status occur.

The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value”
Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Gracie Abrams, they were able to see the tickets available. Once selected, they are taken to a page with an in-depth description of their ticket information, event details, ticket quantity, delivery method and any other notes related to the tickets. After confirming their selection, they were directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $1,790.00 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars. Some venues may require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test. You are responsible for checking venue health and safety requirements for entry." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $1,790.00 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.
Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.
In addition to this current claim, our customer filed a dispute with their credit card company regarding this order. We have addressed this, and the dispute was ultimately ruled in our favor. If our customer has any further questions regarding this dispute, we encourage them to reach out to the financial institution with which it was filed. At this time, we consider this matter closed.

Thank you for responding. We appreciate the opportunity to further address our customer's concerns. An electronic transfer containing Ms. Sama's tickets was sent to the email address on file as of January 30th, 2025. We hope that this alleviates her concerns regarding delivery of the tickets. The date cited in Ms. Sama's previous response is an estimated availability date provided by our trusted resellers; tickets may arrive before the indicated estimate, as they have in this case. We stand by our guarantee that valid, authentic tickets are delivered prior to the event. Tickets-Center.com facilitates the transfer and delivery of tickets to the satisfaction of live event fans each day, and if Ms. Sama has any additional concerns regarding her order we invite her to contact our customer care team directly. We continue to consider this matter closed.
