This Leasing company is a scam. They charge a monthly lease 10 times the cost of equipment. I pay $338.00 month for POS terminal that costs only that brand new and they have us locked into a 4 year lease. Non cancelable and they will not let me return equipment or disolve lease. Have already paid from EFT bank withdrawl to Cascade equip Leasing $6413.43 with another 3
0 or so months left on lease. Beware of all fine print in signing any lease. This business is corrupt . Also require us to carry insurance for POS equipment in case of loss or damage and charge a propery tax on top of all that. Beware of Priority Payment systems AKA Riverside payments . They are the ones that signed me up with this leasing company.

Through the Riverside Payments company, they made me sign a 48-month NON-CANCELLABLE contract with Cascade, however the person who went to my business never mentioned that my contract would not be with Riverside payments but with other third parties, they never mentioned Cascade, they only made me put my name as my signature and then click until I signed all the pages, I did not have the opportunity to review the contract, the next day that I saw the contract they sent me and signed, I saw many things that the saleswoman never mentioned, and nowhere in the contract did it say what she promised me, the entire contract is designed only for their benefit, immediately contacted her and told her that I had many doubts, she only gave me a number to call, but no one knew how to resolve my doubts, the third day I sent an email requesting to cancel this contract and to date after 3 months no one has given me a solution, the only thing they tell me is that I should sign a NON-CANCELLABLE contract and that it is not convenient for me to cancel because I would have to pay for the 48 months that I signed.

It is very frustrating to be dealing with a company that works with many third parties and in the end you don't know who to deal with, because no one wants to help you, and it's even more frustrating to know that I have the right to cancel my contract due to the cooling-off period rule and yet they still won't let me cancel.

Cascade Equipment Leasing and Riverside are total garbage companies. I could go on and on about how absolutely terrible they are, I have had merchant services since 2005 and they are by far the least competent financial oriented company I have ever seen. The equipment never worked properly and the eventually just stopped taking my calls. Had to set up a new bank account and now my attorney is working on breaking my lease with Cascade.

Beware! Run don't walk! Cascade equipment leasing and Riverside payments are in this scam together. If you want to be in a four year contract where each payment is about the value of the equipment that you will receive this is the company for you.
I would be greatly surprised if this is not a mafia run enterprise.
They will tell you anything you want to hear with no way to get out of the contract.
How do they not have an F rating?

Never again. I'm so glad to be done with Riverside. Equipment was fine, but the length of the lease was deliberately hidden. I specifically said that I might change my contract as long as my contract did not start over (i.e., lengthen). He absolutely lied to me. And that was not the only lie I got from Riverside. Very shady business. They should be ashamed of themselves. I'd give them zero stars if that were an option.

I am a new veteran owned business and haven't even opened my doors yet and I was approached by a Riverside Salesman. He gave me the information for a NO MONTHLY PAYMENT program and the only cost would be 2.4% of sales. Seemed like a wonderful deal. Talked to his rep over the phone and his boss assured me of the same thing NO MONTHLY PAYMENT. So excitedly I signed up. Then it took 2 weeks to get my equipment. I was very happy with the system from Clover and thought this would be great for my start. I ran a card for the first transaction to test out the system. Next thing I know I get an email from Cascade Leasing Company saying I am in a non-cancelling contract for 48 months at $290.00. When calling to discuss this I was informed that I was signed up for Fortune 500 contract. I immediately told them I would never have sign up for such a program just starting off. They had my month income as $30,000 based on my previous POS provided. I told them I have not even opened yet. The rep quickly panicked realizing their mistake and sent me to higher management who called me to talk more. They kept telling me about how much I would save and my customers would save over time. NOTHING ABOUT HOW THEY SIGNED ME UP FOR A PROGRAM I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE. I told her I want out and I will not be paying for the remainder of the lease or any termination fee. They can have their equipment back and that I had already arranged with my bank to stop and dispute any and all payments from Cascade Leasing Company and its affiliates (Riverside Payments) She responded with "Sir, we have our ways of getting our money." Which to me is a threat blatant threat. I told her to review the phone call and you would hear me say numerous times with RJ on the phone "NO MONTHLY PAYMENT" he said, "YES, NO MONTHLY PAYMENT." This was repeated over and over again. She said she would check the phone call. I am still waiting on their reply since 6/14/2024. This is what us VETERANS fought for.
