I want to share my recent experience I had this past year with Ferris Home Improvements. My home is located in Milton, DE. My dealings in the beginning of the project were with their Rehoboth office. We contracted to have a complete renovation of the kitchen and related work.
Construction began in late July / 22. To make a long story short, the cabinets were mismeasured by 3 1/2 inches which in the end to "Make it Right" The president and sales manager sat in my kitchen with their best trades people to finally bring a year-long nightmare to an end. The end result was the newly installed mismeasured cabinets(2), quartz countertops, and tile backsplash had to be torn out & replaced. Meanwhile, we resided in an unairconditioned garage for weeks on end until this was resolved in 90 degree heat!
This is only one example of avoidable errors. I am recently retired. I spent every day from July 25/22 through completion on Nov.4/22 when the workers were in my home. From the very first day of construction my confidence lessened in the company & how things were being run. I kept a detailed journal, texts, phone messages etc. detailing all the mistakes& false promises.
My complaint isn't with the workmanship, once they were scheduled to be here. The kitchen is finally satisfactory- took 1 year & 3 days. my complaint is with the aggressive sales tactics and many un-truths and false promises. Stressing the words Integrity & Trust in their advertising. In my experience with the sales and management personnel, they certainly didn't exhibit either one. The other complaint is with the management, sales & especially the construction manager who I asked to leave the premises near the end of the project. I was fed up with little or no attention to our project, unanswered texts & calls. I feel I was the construction manager. I couldn't leave the property while any work was being done- they had little if any guidance except from me

Thank you very much for your feedback regarding your kitchen renovation. We take great pride in quality assurance. We appreciate every job and strive to provide great service. We painstakingly comb through every review as an opportunity to further improve our award-winning customer experience. We are sorry to hear that your experience with us was negative however we are going to have to agree to disagree with many of the details you mentioned. In fact, we started your kitchen install on July 7th, 2022 and finished on October 18th, 2022 with a few replacement doors for the cabinets as punchwork that got installed on December 13th, 2022 to completely finalize the job. You residing in your garage had absolutely nothing to do with us or us doing your project. We have a very detailed account of your project and all of the communication that occurred between you and all of our team members.
Again, we are sorry that your experience wasn’t what you expected but in the end we are satisfied that you are happy with our teams’ craftsmanship and your beautiful kitchen. Above everything, thank you for taking the time to reach out – I appreciate your time and feedback. We will learn from this and improve going forward. We wish you all the best in your new space.

A portion of my roof had to be replaced. Ferris Home Improvement gave me a good price, showed up on time & completed the work in half a day. They are very professional and did a quality job. Paul was the project mgr and Frank was the crew supervisor. They talked to me several times in the morning keeping me informed. It was a pleasure dealing with them. I was impressed by their cleanup of my property. After they left I could not find one bit of trash, and certainly no nails. It was if they were never here. When the rest of my roof needs replacing, I will certainly use them again and highly recommend them for any roofing work. Steve BFerris Home Improvements LLC

We have used Ferris Home Improvements for a number of home improvement projects that we needed done. Ferris Home Improvements is a very professional, reliable, and reputable company. They stand behind their work. They respond promptly to the customer’s requests. Their work is excellent with no loose ends left. Most importantly, they are trustworthy and honest in their dealings with customers. They are reasonable and fair in their prices. They deliver quality work.

I just want to say I am very happy with the partial roof Replacement. Arriving on the job was Corey and James they explain everything they were going to do that day. Adam the project manager also went over the work to be done that. The job went according to plan. They finish the job clean everything up and I got a good night's sleep no longer worrying about roof leaks.

Ferris took down our old chimney and replaced it with a new one The construction crew

This year we had our front door, screen door, and garage/window/door (fyphon trim) replaced. Sam our Sales Manager is the absolute best! very friendly, respectful, and great to work with. We had no issues with the door install - looks fabulous! and James & Ben did an outstanding job installing the fyphon. We are very pleased with the results!Ferris Home Improvements LLC

In spring of 2021, Ferris installed Alside insulated siding (along with windows and soffits). We love the energy efficiency and look of the siding, but unfortunately a run of it ended up being defective. The color badly faded. We contacted Ferris since the product has a strong warranty and they advocated in our behalf. No easy task since apparently our chosen color has been discontinued. Nonetheless, Adam Boyle worked the phones, pushed Alside to search its warehouses, and found us enough siding to make it right. Scott, Anthony, and Corey got it installed to our satisfaction, also no easy task since we have an exacting eye. Ferris Home Improvements were hired to replace a roof, install two roof fans, and a front porch soffit replacement.
sales rep Tim and project manager Paul were both patient with questions and explanations.
questions through email and phone had replies that never exceeded 24hrs and all questions were answered to my satisfaction
no profanity ever heard during the work, no loud music.
frequent visits by project manager Paul minimized delays in approving the repair of unexpected roof conditions discovered
roofing crew Aziz, Anton, Shahnur, and Bekjan arrived on time all three days and worked as a team to complete the project on time. One crew member is assigned continuous clean up during the roof replacement. Ground trash never remained after the crew stopped for the day.
Rain delayed the project one day and the roof protection was explained by crew chief Aziz. The crew had care and concern to protect the exposed roof and protect the storage of supplies on the ground.
The soffit replacement by Brandon and Corey was done well. Very satisfied.
Alicyn is a contribution to the five star rating. She is pleasant to speak with and she completed the requests for information and documents without error. A roof replacement is a complex process and a pleasant understanding nature is important.
Without restriction Ferris Home Improvements is recommended to replace your roof, install roof fans, and perform soffit work.Ferris Home Improvements LLC

Ferris Home Improvements did a complete tear-out and remodel of our 1970s bathroom and we couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the team at Ferris were a pleasure to work with. Meredith was so helpful with the design process, and Russell and Charlie were there during the construction to answer questions and kept things moving smoothly. All of the materials were on-site at our house before demolition began. The project moved quickly and the schedule was adhered to almost to the day. The bathroom is gorgeous and their workmanship was top notch!Ferris Home Improvements LLC

Ferris Home improvement remodeled all 3 of my bathrooms. Their staff and Contractors did a wonderful job even with a few hiccups along the way. Supply problems due to covid being the biggest but they kept on it and I got beautiful bathrooms. Would recommend them highly. Will use them again for future projects.
